Bro I’m level 20 with Tom and Jerry and let me just say as a Tom and Jerry main the fact that you have to chase Jerry and keep him close to you it’s just shows a good character design as a fighter.

Tom is nothing without Jerry. I love the attack damage debuff if Jerry is dead because Tom's entire reason for fighting was killing Jerry himself.
Tom and jerry is busted af his basic attacks have massive hitboxes and do hella damage, and to add all you need to do is just spam jerry and spam your attacks which basically zones out the whole map

@@blurymarsh8235 his attacks hit boxes are nothing compared to a characters like bugs and you always have the option to kill Jerry on sight and it eliminates half his kit on top of that he is pretty vulnerable while he waits to hit his projectiles and certain characters can rush him down while he's setting up he's pretty balanced tbh

Well if you are trying to rank up you need to win more games and a loss can put you down many ranks so that’s kinda what you a have to do to rank up

And don't let others make you feel as if you have to rematch everyone. Rematch who you want, that's how the game is meant to be played. People saying that it's "toxic" are not only wrong but are also making the word toxic lose its meaning
Fair enough - I just dont wanna be deemed as "toxic" for playing the ladder how I have to. The more I rematch people who are better than me the more I drop, like for example, last night on finn I played against a level 33 wonder woman with 1100 wins, won the first, and out of respect rematched, lost 1-2 lMAO

I'm level 21 Tom and Jerry and I feel like I don't have so much control when I'm in the air as you. Sometimes I kill myself accidetally because of that.

How are you so good? I'm horrible at this game & all fighting games.
I just play against bots cause I'll get crushed online but I'm glad I can at least have an online teammate in Co-Op vs AI.
Its just a lot of past experience combined with practice I would say. Playing about bots can be kinda chill tho lowkey.

Im level 17 with tom and jerry, but I still dont have control of the attacks on the air, I cant hit the balls with the neutral while jumping, do you have any tip for me? Also I play on the xbox
I am assuming you have the normal neutral and especial neutral in LB and RB right? Without this is nearly impossible hit things in the air, because stops your movement. Also you can fast fall while charging your racket so you can hit the tennis balls easy

@@lumityforever1246 I mean you can, Im still doing it sometimes but is a lot more practical have the normal and especial neutral in the LB and RB. I'll give you some example, imagine you are playing with Bugs and your enemy is like 170 dmg and he is in the right edge of the stage. Well you are running towards him so you can use your normal neutral (The Hammer) so you hold X meanwhile you are running but the game reads that you are using your side normal (-> + X because you are running ->) so you give the punches of bugs ending in not killing your enemy, with the LB button instead this scenario doesnt happen because the game knows that the LB is only the neutral X even if you are running or moving in the air, this is why you are having trouble with the tennis balls and the raquet with Tom. If you are running you are using the --> in the d-pad so if you press X or Y the game will think that you are pressing ->+X or ->+Y when in reality you just wanted to press neutral X or Neutral Y. Try it out you will see there is a LOT of difference more in this game that you never wanna be still in one place

@@lumityforever1246 plus if you use your normal neutral with LB you can do it in the air meanwhile you are fast falling and the game will not think you are pressing down+X. Sorry again xd

? mmr def means something lmao top leaderboard filled w pros. matchmaking itself may be finicky, such as matching u w either too low/high mmr players, thereby making you win/lose more mmr than expected (ex: win a set 2-1 but lose mmr in the end bc your opponent(s) was/were much lower mmr). however, mmr itself is indicative of skill and widely accepted/used to differentiate player rankings and skill levels across the board.
