If they ignore it and move away again as they did with BFV and 2042, if they listen to the sweats and youtubers crying about "casualfield" again, they'll end up with another crappy entry.
I liked the sweet spot mechanic. Let's you be competitive in cqb with the bolt actions in a world where everyone is running around with full auto. In past games trying to bolt action in small spaces was going to be a bad day for you.
I hope EA wake up one day and realise that other than the graphic and the different classes gameplay, players always come back to BF1 because of the human tragedy behind WW1.
No, it's not, the aim assist is pretty good on this game and honestly it is about being a knowledgeable player more than a good shot. I used to run controller years ago on PC and I wasn't much different than I am now on mouse. Honestly both have pros and cons. Mouse for sniping, controller for run and gun
I still play near every day after 8 years. It's a fantastically satisfying game. I still play with the same RL friends most Fridays. Playing in a squad is great fun. It's the best BF for the compromise of fun and sweat, chaos and skill. I loved all the BFs. Each was overall an improvement until BF5 ruined it and BF2042 doubled down on the ruination. At least we still have BF1!

My EA account won't let me download the new update. It takes forever then gets stuck at 90%. Did the clear cache like they recommend and nothing. Is there any fix? I wanna play it so bad 😢.
Instead of building new game useless versions that nobody wanted or asked for, Dice should focus working on updating and adding more maps plus new good content to the successful working BF versions as Battlefield One. 👍

I just can't get enough of how good the sound effects are, especially when you get a kill. That *cling* sounds so well.
Played for the first time yesterday after about 4 months. Such a great game. Always good to come back to.

@ well down under the is only one rented server that I can find and yeah, it’s full and good. Conquest only but beggars can’t be choosers.

This game came out 8 years ago, and it still looks drastically better than the newest cod. Been loving this game recently, it will never die.
The atmosphere, the music, the bolt action rifle, I can almost smell the war.
