When i see the condition of the streets, garbage openly thrown no sewers hospitals lacking basic human amenities it arises questions about the my hard earned money the government takes from me. Why should i pay 28% GST on my vehicle. I paid the road tax yet have to pay toll fee. The condition of roads are better not to disclose it’s worse. We need to tax rich farmers, stop parties giving freebies for political gains, reduce/ remove subsidies, and bring reforms in agriculture industry to increase their income and make our direct tax base wider.
Do you know what is the actual income gained by farmers after reducing all the cost, less than 2% of farmers can be considered as rich farmers, the risks in agriculture is far higher than any business.

If you are a salaried person than you will see that your friends or your neighbour who is into business earning much more than you is paying zero or negligible tax than you. Businessman has so many ways to avoid tax whereas salaried employees have nothing. It hurts when your hard earned money is used for giving subsidies to farmers who are already earning more than you, home subsidies to those who don’t pay any taxes, corrupt politicians so on and so forth.
Instead of increasing direct tax base, govt is increasing burden on loyal salary class taxpayers.

India is an agro based economy and any income from agriculture is exempted! ~60% population is by default exempted as agriculture is their main source of income! We need to tax rich farmers, stop parties giving freebies for political gains, reduce/ remove subsidies, and bring reforms in agriculture industry to increase their income and make our direct tax base wider.

You are using a country's resources which are finite thus you pay tax, can't enjoy something for free.
