Time for more Silent Hill 2 Remake
Seems that we're done with Neely's Bar at last, we're heading out the back door into the Alleyway of Moron Entrapment. I'm sorry, that shouldn't have taken me so long X_X Things are getting ever funkier at an alarming rate around here as we proceed. We get surrounded by those horrific bodybag looking things and have our first true fight for our life moment against 3 of them, only to realise when it's over that the wind has picked up, massively. It's like there's a hurricane or something coming. Instead of the usual fog based terrible visibility, we now have terrible fog and storm clouds based visibility. We have a destination though: Wood Side Apartments, so we just run/whack/pray our way to them and by some violent minor miracle we make it.
Inside is peaceful but creepy in its own way. We find various notes and handgun ammo hinting that we're soon get a gun, Obama be praised, but there's work to do yet. Apartment 217 seems like our best guess but all we find are freaky Luigi board looking things an a flashlight. Then things get even worse as we find a mannequin filled room. Then that gets somehow worse still when we're introduced to some new a monster: 2 pairs of mannequin legs stuck together o_O As daft as they are design wise, they're hard to hit and surprisingly dangerous, no match for James and his chronic indifference though! There's a dress in the room James recognises too but goodness knows what that's about. As we gradually map out and unravel the apartment block we get a Chute Key thing and it becomes apparent we need to clean some American bin/slide thing. That's not appealing and before we can make great progress on it we're screwed over by some insufferable child! Why is there an annoying, mean little girl here?!
Fortunately (?) it seems we may be able to follow her and lovingly apprehend her* and ask where her absent parents are/where. The thought of being able to shoot things is the only thing keeping me going as we creep further into all this lonely madness, I feel like I'm becoming an American with every second. We got to do it for James though, and society in general or something.

Looks like you are stuck inside that room in the beginning. At least, you didn’t have to fight monsters in there. Finally outside, although not sure if it’s a good or bad thing! 7:02 - Taking out your anger on that car lol. Leave those poor cars alone. 11:33 - Eww. That’s disgusting. They don’t have hands to attack you, so they vomit 🤮 on you! That’s creative. I don’t think, I have seen creatures do this in any other game! Anyhow, I wish you a Happy New Year…………..

@@SerialPillock Well, I always remind myself that the world is our playground.. sure, there is social rules and rules in general that we should keep in mind.. but, in a long run I think we are the ones who make our lives more difficult than they actually are (most times).. I don't wanna believe that being a human is that hard - we're kinda a bit spoiled all things considered :D.
Also, I always remind myself that there are places and people that have way worse than I could ever imagine.. sure not the best thing, but it does give me a comfort in comparison.
@@desolatepoint that's true. I don't really want anything though, I'm weird like that. I don't want things, I don;t take joy in getting to lie around or having lots of time. All I've ever really been interested in is being of use and finding a place to belong. Sounds dumb probably but it really pulls at me.
@@SerialPillock Not dumb at all.. I think most people look for that. And as far as belonging.. we all do belong here. That is another one that we sometimes overthink about - I mean logically speaking we had no saying of being born, it just happened which makes us belong here 100% no question about it :D.
When it comes to social groups like friends or job or whatever.. yes, there are times (and will be) where we maybe don't fit in.. which again is completely normal. I believe most people have those experiences.
But the problem is that our generations just stopped trying.. and that's the biggest mistake one can do. Never stop trying whatever it is you wanna achieve - real friends, gf, job, health whatever.. even if you fail 100 times never stop trying. Failing is ok, it's part of the experience, you learn from it and you keep trying - maybe with different people, maybe different work or whatever it is, but you keep trying.
And that's from my own experience - I went in a loner mode for almost 15 years. Locked myself in four walls and boiled in my own bs while developing some exotic mental health problems.. and then I snapped out of it, because it didn't lead me anywhere. And first question was 'what now?' Because I only have two options right? And there was almost like a voice in my head telling me 'you stopped trying.' So, I went back 15 years picked up from there.. and it works. I still fail sometimes, but it works.. it's not a fast process and things are not immediate, but I can see the difference which makes me believe 100% that I'll just be ok.
So yeah.. a lengthy one from me (again), but who knows.. maybe it helps. :D ✌
I remember that green car mission from another playthrough I watched, what a trap by the devs locking you in the compound with 3 of them spitty things lol
it's an odd bit, the game has just taught you to pay attention and be thorough, then you don't have to in the next bit. Aye talk about throwing you in at the deep end. Smart though, most people will have been carefully avoiding them as much as possible so far. Forcing you to fight them forces you to face your fears quite literally, and also gives you a clearer idea of what you can actually deal with in a pinch

Very good to see you back doing videos. It is time for some Silent Hill 2 fun. You made it out of that building and the town looks trashed still. I am glad you are still going Negan on those ugly things. You found another puzzle and it is making you get it's missing pieces. Konami had to pull that on you. Those things came to life just to get owned. They will drop all the charges after what type of bodies they see. It is more of those things and yep you will still get off from killing them. Excellent Silent Hill 2 video and Happy New Year.

I feel you with wanting to explore everything. There could be something easily missed if not! Ah the mannequin room. You had a good reaction/reflex to them!
