Thank you so much. I have a big donut like that. The last time I use that donut 7 years ago I when to Cruise ship vacation. Thank you, it looks beautiful on you. .❤️🌹
Thanks soooo much for showing how simple the buns are. If it is not simple and short time to do....it's not happening on my head. Now I am confident in making these buns. Great variety without a lot of steps! Thanks a million.
Thank you for your doughnut bun tutorials! I appreciate the time you took to show each step clearly. I was particularly impressed with the instruction on how to use a bobby-pin (bump-side down). I never knew that! The only thing that would help, in my opinion, is to see the finished look from all sides, particularly the back. Thanks again. I appreciate the help!
Thank you so much for the simple and easy way of using it. I had the donut for 4 years and didn't know how to use it perfectly...Though I tired it watching other videos but it was a failure. Love you....god bless!
Thanks so much! I used one of those as a child but I'm 49 years old now and couldn't remember how to use it. Lol I bought the Pony-0 and the Bun Bar. I got the Pony-0 to work but had no luck with the Bun Bar. I tried several different ways but couldn't get it to look right. I had to end up using Bobby pins which you are supposed to not need. The Bun Foundation like the one that you used seemed to work the best. I appreciate it so much! ☺️
This is the best video I’ve found so far on how to use a bun maker/donut. I remember watching my mom put these in people’s hair all the time when I was little and for the life of me I couldn’t remember out how she did it. I really didn’t think it was going to be possible with my fine hair but I think I can make it work now. Thanks! And btw, you have a wonderful personality.
They have elastic bands with "messy" hair that you can use to cover if your hair is thinner. You can match them to your color and it won't be as stressful on your hair, as opposed to extensions that can be damaging. Just apply it after your bun is created.
Hi! ☺ Tyfs this tutorial on the sponge bun maker. Those are Beautiful hairstyles that you did! I am still practicing on bun #1 & the first time I did it a few months ago, I luvluvluved it SO much that I slept on it & wore it the next day 😄😄😄. I will try your other styles. P.S. You taught me something else also. I don't use bobby pins that often, but when I do; I have been putting them in upside down 😱😱. Thank you for that tip that they go bumpy side down! 😄 I will probably be using them much more often (no wonder why they always slipped out of my hair)!! DUH😽
And if your hair is too thin.. wrap extensions around the bun then put it in your hair and style. Makes it easier to be sure the donut doesn’t show through.
They also have elastic bands with "messy" hair that you can use that will help cover. I think that would be healthier for that type of style, rather than always using extensions which I understand can put a lot of stress on already thin hair. Just a thought!
So I'm 49 and just bought myself my first ever bun donut. Like you, I have super fine hair but I'm also a girl of the 80s so that last ratted out bun was my FAVORITE! (ignore my profile pic here -- I now have long hair!) You're my 3rd video to watch but by far my fave! Thank you!!!
Loved this! Thank you so much for posting! I am so stoked to have found your channel! My hair is thin too and it baffles me what on earth to do with it! This gives me some great ideas 🥰 You rock!!
Thank you so much!! I love your ideas!! I have long thick hair & all I ever do is pull it. Your video makes my problem a whole lot easier now to do different ideas with my mane..
Thanks - my donuts just came - I will try it tomorrow. My hair needs a little more length but I think I can do a small one. Looks easy and fast, which I want.
Holy crap, thinning here myself, didn't think it would work, bun number two amazing, I look like I did in my young 20s LOL, thank you girl you look amazing by the way, Here from Florida ✌️☀️😎
I don't know your name, but I sure love your fun personality. Thanks for sharing these, I've always wondered if the buns are easy to use. Can't wait to try it.
Love it, I have super thin hair too, so, I love to see how to fix it :) Would be awesome if you can move your camera, for us to be able to see the top of your hair ❤️
You remind me of a young Angie Harmon. Have you ever heard that before? I mean you really do look just like her. The dark eyes, the voice, the cleft in the chin. So, so pretty! And I love your tutorial. I've been doing this for a long time so it's really neat to see how other people do them. Oh, and I made my donut out of an old, black tube sock! LOL! Works like a charm!
I find if you back comb your hair after putting it through the donut, it covers the donut better. Then before you tuck it in, put another elastic arond the bun
So nice to see what you can do with thin (and in my case, baby fine) hair. #4, here I come! Thank you for this video. Question - what size bun donut are you using for this? I just assumed that I would need to use a small size donut.

Thank you so much.... I could make the perfect bun though I have medium hair. It was easy and elegant! 😍

Wonderful ... the way of explanation is nice... easy to grab.. love it
Nice tutorial :) admire the way you do this and level of perfection .
Great job.
Thank you so much!!! Very helpful, helped me this morning to get ready for work! Love it
The upsidedown bobbypin idea is new to me and is a pretty cool tip. Thanks for your video. Love your bubbly personality, too. Gonna go get me a donut!
Did you know that it is the proper way to use it? I was a cosmetologist for years before anyone told me! Lol... ☺️
Thank you, this is really useful! You also show very well how to wrap the hair INTO the donut, now I got it 👍 and I like your 'performance' too ☺
And if your hair is too thin.. wrap extensions around the bun then put it in your hair and style. Makes it easier to be sure the donut doesn’t show through.

@@irisheyesofbelfast good thought ☺
@@irisheyesofbelfast I meant wrap the extensions around the bun form not actually put the extensions in your hair.
😊 Will definitely try and the rat's nest looks the best. 🤣
Awesome!!! It's very helpful. Thank you!!!

For short hair try using a smaller size donut. It makes the bun much easier to do and nicer not so messy. Just a suggestion.
