Staying away from the gym because of my studies makes life harder I wish I could make 60% of my day in the gym grappling and striking although striking is hard psychologically but I don't mind the challenge its worth it in the end In God willing.
I've literally never been to the gym and barely work out but I wanna try out some combat sports at least once in my life. But I wanna start now to gain a little bit of an advantage when I finally go to a gym. You guys have any advise on some beginner excercises on a guy with a below average body at home?
Its kind of funny how literally the first thing you show is what I needed at my last and frankly my first sparring at the gym (I actually did block like that but I just had no answer for those kicks )
Awesome. Hopefully you are setup for your next sparring. It takes some drilling with a partner before you can pull these off well in sparring but at least you know what to do now.
Amazing gloves you have there Gabriel, the colour pops out. If you manage to block and not absorb al the power you can have a great counter, good explanation.
I’m amazed at just how good Gabriel’s boxing skills are. I believe he would definitely be able to box the top ten boxers in his weight class and be very competitive. Possibly even be able to win at that high of a level. I mean he’s a kickboxer yet his boxing skills are phenomenal with his boxing combinations and ring IQ.
Hello Gabriel, great content as per usual. I am having trouble when it comes to entering striking distance to land combinations without getting hit upon entry. I am naturally a counter striker however I have recently changed gyms and some of my peers are brow belts in taekwando and have better movement and kicks than I do, forcing me to be aggressive, a vid on different ways to enter would be great. thank you
Just started kickboxing and have been binge watching all your videos. The absolute best information out here, thank you so much 👍
Welcome and thanks for joining the channel.
I appreciate the positive feedback. I'll keep the videos coming.
How's the kickboxing going dude?
Which basic counter is your favourite? I've got to go with the left hook counter.
Block to cross hook
Probably, shoulder roll and counter cross/uppercut.

Yes. I got to choose the colours myself and was very happy with the finished product.

For sure. It's not too difficult and I can give you 2-3 options.
I'll get that added to my filming list.
@@GabrielVargaOfficial Same suggestion brother I struggle with the taller opponents.

Hey Gabriel, what are your favorite gloves to hit the heavy bag, spar with?
Can you show us how to throw a good knee to head ?

A lot of guys look good on heavy bag
A lot of guys look bad in sparring
