I remember Freddy P and he was a dope rapper, I mean his talent …it was phenomenal. I always wondered what happened to him. When he says he put Florida on the map, he really did when he was on making the band. Because nobody was checking for the Florida rap scene like that back then until he came on Making the band.
Love u ti that’s for making my day this early out here coming from cali
Two videos in less than 24 hours; we're not worthy. Your work doesn't go unnoticed. I'll get through this Frida after all. Thank you!
You spoke out about Diddy in the Loon video. You definitely always held him to task. Diddy is a 90s/00s cultural staple but he exploits to the fullest
And it's crazy cuz all the way back to biggie if Diddy would have done all of his artists right he would have been even bigger than big way bigger than what he is right now cuz all I see right now is someone with the soon to be washed up career and it makes no sense until you start hearing the gossiping about him and then it does
Gen Z knows Diddy as a “hard working mogul” while us millennials & the Gen X generation see him as a snake that robbed his artists
Yup
Not all Gen Z i knew that man was a lying snake that took from people.
He continues the cycle of robbing artist too.
This! 💯
@@j0vial884 exactly. They tend to quickly group up all Gen Z. I'm the same age at Ti oldest son and been knew Diddy shady ways 💯💯 I never liked him and I'm glad it's being brought to the light more.
Diddy is evil. He didn’t make Da Band go get him cheesecake just to prove that they have “the passion, the drive, the intensity”; he did it for control. This is what happens when people with low self-esteem obtain power. He gets off from this. He may portray a mighty man on the outside but deep down he’s a fragile, weak little boy who only feels powerful when he can make others feel weak and break their spirits. A real boss uplifts people and helps them with their success.
And what is sad about that cheesecake situation is that he left as soon as they went to go get it. When the group returned Diddy was long gone. He truly never wanted that cheesecake.
You said It....Somebody got to Diddy...🤔👀
Absolutely 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Exactly.
And Diddy is geeyyyyy
This is what happens when we place 'black excellence' on a pedestal instead of 'black integrity'.
Yesssss 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Make it plain
Yesss! It's the whole getting the bag mentality......people do anything to get money.
Preach!
A word!!!
Its heartbreaking seeing Freddy like this. He was 1 of the most hungry contestants in the entire Making The Band franchise. You could tell it was all or nothing with him and he didn't come to play. He wasn't with the B.S. Its a shame that Diddy sold these talented people a dream and used them for ratings. Sarah's lucky she found herself a professional gamer.
It makes me happy he talks about it because this sort of thing is still a massive problem in the industry:(( people are still scared to put their foot down
@Greg Felix cuz, you ahhight? Everything good?
@Greg Felix WTF?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What are you on!
Yeah it's really sad. I hope he finds an opportunity out of all this.
@Greg Felix ion kno how u can fake being a single mother buy ok carry on.... secondly how can someone feel attacked through the internet all u have to do is log off. But I wish u well n I hope you recovered from what happened.

The fact that Diddy could easily give all of them a million right now and won't be affected AT ALL, but he still won't, says a lot about Diddy, and the entertainment industry... sad.
Exactly! Puffs response when Mase asked to buy his masters said enough for me not to fuck with Diddy ever! He learned all his ways from Clive.

@Carol Hills I think a lot of these artist get a taste of the limelight and attention from doing these reality shows etc and it's difficult for them to move on from it all. They're focused on what could have been. They had talent but It didn't take them as far as they felt it should have because they were exploited by someone who saw them as a means to increase his own bottom line $$_.

That is why we are fortunate that we have alternative platforms that allow these truths to be seen.
This is very true but nobody wants to talk about how blacks victimized and exploit other black people, only how the white man is keeping the black man down which is NOT 100% true.
Honey if your waiting for blacks to look out for each other you will be waiting. We are our worst enemy.
I'm 25 and I never heard about Freddie P or the making of the band. But anyone with a pair of eyes can see that anyone that aligns themselves with Diddy, it never turns out well for them. My heart hurts for this man and I hope that he finds peace.

Because, as you stated, people went along with it voluntarily. If people don’t participate, there would be nothing to see. It’s desperation on the part of the participants unfortunately.
Who said that?! That is victim blaming, they saw an opportunity they thought was genuine, everyone has been desperate at one point and the one who took advantage of that desperation without disclosing their true intentions are the onesnat fault.
@@edithart5753 I think I specifically typed ‘it’s desperation on the part of the participants unfortunately”. They were not being held hostage and could have left at any time. Even Babs said in a clip she could have just walked home but she didn’t. They were young and didn’t have the experience to see through the bull. We all learn lessons in life, some harder than others. That’s not victim blaming, that’s facts. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Welcome to the real world. It’s full of trash people.

Older people who feel like they have "the right" to put younger people through manufactured torture and stressful situations don't need to be patronized in any way. If they're creating businesses, opportunities of any kind, it's not worth go after because of how badly they'll break you in order go get the opportunity
Exactly, and they get real territorial with their positions and do things in fear of being surpassed. It’s sad how we don’t get to see these new talents or what the generation after them have to offer because of how some older people are scared of change and of losing their spot when it’s a win-win for everyone if we look out for each other.
It’s sad seeing Fred like this May god send those artists healing energy. They were hungry trying to make it and diddy preyed on these people.
At this point if people can't see the evil in the entertainment industry, they are willfully blind. There is no excuse at this point.
Right
Desperation makes people not use their senses.
I've literally said this a million times! The main issue is the music itself. If you aren't praising God and making a joyful noise unto Him, there's only one other being you're singing to... He was once head of the choir, his body was an actual living, breathing music instrument. His disgusting influence over music has not changed. Add pride, lust, sexual innuendo and it's a dangerous combination. That's why that industry is a cesspool.
AMEN
I recall certain artists in general beefing about newer singers not paying homage to them ... When it really was kissing their ass. Then the assistants can get abused/humiliated in front of groups of ppl. Most of them are evil! Freddy needs to leave rap alone the bad vibes are a sign the industry is not for him.

Diddy is dirty to his core. He is a user and abuser.

Kane on the Bad Bad Boy Anniversary album, and Danity Kane really broke records for Him. I was always puzzled by that.
It’s sad the exploitation these people went through. I remember watching as a kids and didn’t realize how bad it was. Shows like this are pretty much made to humiliate the contestants now watching as an adult. It’s entertainment to these producers but it’s real life for the contestants, they do it because they feel like they have to make it out by any means. For most of them to get nothing and have to start back over. That video of Freddy was heartbreaking. This was an amazing breakdown of the show Ti!
I actually feel bad looking back at this. I was young too and had no idea what he was doing to them. It was like a form of abuse that was sugar coated.
What I remember most about Danity Kane, he took them to a radio station and allowed the host at the station to trash those girls ON AIR! Had some of them crying when they left the booth. Then Dawn got in there and they tried to trash her into a grave plot on what she was wearing and clowned her but she was so well spoken and held her head high and replied "well my family lost everything when the hurricane hit NOLA and this is all I have left" she shut them up and they humbled themselves. I tried my best to look for that clip because that was the most amazing episode. She shut them up and they went on with the interview. I wanted her to succeed in that moment without Diddy.

I’ve always said DIDDY was a killer of careers. He used artists and made them 1 hit wonders & moved on to the next. Latest victim was MGK. Diddy ruined his artists’ careers.
I wouldn’t label mgk a one hit wonder, he may not be super known to the rap community but he’s had known songs before and now is going back to his sound, that recent song is doing extremely well with the pop community.
I was in high school when the show originally aired. My second go around in college I was a music major. In my songwriting class my classmates asked if I would take a record deal from Diddy and I said "absolutely not!!!" I told them look where all of his artist ended up and stood my ground. I remember as a kid my uncles saying that Diddy couldn’t rap. Now that I think about it look back at Diddy they were right. Diddy has no fucking talent.
He forced his artists to put him in their videos and charge them for it.
Except for exploiting people
Dawn has been killing the underground scene. She has had several solo albums. Its not traditional R&B, but very good
My heart went out to Freddy when he said that he’s just “tired”…..🙏🏿
Dave Chapelle had me dead with those making Da Band skits! Breasssst Miiiiilllllk You make my daaaaaaay! 💀💀💀
Lol.. from a Cambodian lady..
I said this before but when a men cry's it hit you different ❣️
yup!
Dawn is actually doing really well...She started her own independent label and has 100% control of her career and life.....and the music is different but it's pretty good.....
People in New York still talk about that. It’s like a New York inside joke if you send someone to the store. That’s not a thing for New Yorkers. I’m sure these people are traumatized. I feel sorry for all of them. They all need to come together and sue
Sue for Whaaat? Choosing to go to the store? He told them they had a choice. The lesson really was deeper then the cheesecake. In reality this business is a horrible business. These kids were off the streets, they were worried about their egos. They were NOT ready for the business, 42nd to Brooklyn Bridge is nothing. Touring for years, and years, album after album.. and having nothing but bankruptcies... thats rough.. thats where they were headed either way. It takes alot of support, it takes alot of talent, it takes a lot of tabling that ego and eating giant slices if humble pie. I feel them all but these cats needed more shaping and act right.
@@TheZogie sue for having other people not work with him. If you watch the whole video he made he had artist not work with him
@@ashatashabazz1262 Monique out here waiting for her money too. I don't want it to seem like I don't care or understand.. I do. The thing is you gotta go around these dudes.. ( I was watching drink Champs with the Game.. dude said he was " chillin" with Diddy for 2 years?? See Young Miami... she young and smart.. she chill with Diddy for 2 seconds at a time and keep it pushing.
Diddy ain't your friend he's a business man he's moving tables around to make the best for himself. That's not just Diddy though.. its everyone..but people are making it seem like this isnt the case when you work for a corporation or company.. they get 200% on your back slap their names on it. Lesson is to go around them make your own way. Freddy P got 2 weeks to make a song cause then his story falls on deaf ears. I wish him the absolute best
I’ll never respect Diddy for the way he has treated people..smh
He’s artist are lucky he ain’t suge knight or they will be hanging off the balcony of high rises
Oh man... that hurt seeing Freddy like that. I don't even have words for how much that broke my heart. Thank you for giving his story a platform Ti. God bless, and let's surround him with love and prayer.
I hope Freddy finds this video. You spoke so eloquently and honestly to his truth. I loved when you said “there’s never a test without a testimony.” That’s the truth, Ti. Great job on this video!
Stay STRONG Freddy, you came to far. Ya blessings are coming soon trust and believe that boo. You gon be Aight I promise you that. DON’T let the devil win, you got this.
Whew chyleeeee when he said “ya generation worry about what’s ON you, not IN you” that was powerful
These shows actually made me not like him. He treated all of them terribly 😔
This hurts to watch. I empathize with him. I’m hurt for him. His dreams, his gifts. Lord help him.
This is how it looks to get your dreams killed. You have to keep stepping because if you don't the road will get much harder!
Im 41 and I remember all of this ….even back then i was like this is truly awful how he treated those kids smh 🤦🏾♀️ P diddy not once has he taken accountability for his despicable behavior
Complete off topic…but 41!!! You look younger than most of these 20-somethings.
@@shakirasmith6454 Thank you :) I appreciate that
My heart hurts for him because he’s speaking nothing but facts!
Dawn has thrived as an independent artist. she writes, directs and etc her own music.
She was with dirty money after danity kane and signed with diddy. What you think she did to get put on like the rest of his acts that stayed relevant: 112, Jagged Edge, Mase just to name a few. I’m sure she got slutted out n some more shit to be where she is no pun intended. All the ones still struggling didn’t sign that contract if ya dig what I’m sayin
Yes ❤️She is doing better than most. She is awesome!
@@thestudtherapist2435 she was a song writer that's why he kept her. She is an independent artist and has been one for 12 yrs now.
I hope one day that Diddy will get his karma because he has messed over a lot of people. He and his family are living well off the exploitation of what Diddy has done to other people.
Me too :( im obviously not famous but I work as a ballet dancer. I perform in a company and I teach 😌 ill have kids from age 4- 13 asking me questions about what its like to be a real ballerina and I just can't bring myself to be honest 🙃🙃🙃
Dance changed my life and I want them to continue but I feel like I can't tell them the truth about life in the industry. I don't want to crush their enthusiasm.
I can clearly imagine the pressure of working under an abusive director, but being famous on top is enough to ruin someone's life 👀☹☹☹.
I know he probably hates singing and rapping now but I hope he can find a way to use his musical gift for himself and to heal.
Diddy though, he probably feels nothing. This story is as old as time in the performing arts :(
Oh trust and believe Karma don’t miss. Some things can be invisible to that “top eye”. Meaning he might be living in his karma. Diddy always come off as if he’s trying to convince he’s happy that’s enough said. You think he sleeps peacefully every night? You think shit don’t come back hunting him? In my opinion he’s miserable underneath that money trust me.
@@kamilareeder1493 Love your prospective....Diddy just uses people and discard them.
@@k.mitchell93 He can't be anything but miserable with his fake self.
Puffy is wealthy off the backs of his artists. He is the ultimate scammer and opportunist. Let's not forget that he stole an app idea from a young kid, and took it on as his own. I don't have any respect for him.
Right!? So is it even right to praise him as this millionaire hustling mogul?
Exactly.
@@brandi5200 The Black community made him that. He just an evil scammer to me.
The problem is we as a society let people like him get away with this!!! Even in the music industry period, it’s a whole lot of monopolizing going on… How is it that the actual talented musicians are broke and the people behind the scenes are making all this money off of them and their talent??? Smh…. We live in a eff up society… just like how do basketball players and actors actresses make more money than doctors and nurses, we save lives and risk our lives daily…. These sports players get a deal and then get hurt and don’t even fulfill their contract and at still can keep their money…. We in a sad society…. A bunch of sheep being herded by the elite…. Freddy was DEFINITELY my favorite outside of Babs. This broke my heart. I wish it was something we could do because my generation all saw how Diddy did these people. It's a level of evil that I'd hope to never see one of us do to our brothers and sisters. Thank you for this video Ti. Much needed ❤️
“Y’all just got here!” BIG ENERGY! 😩🙌😊
He was gaslighting the hell out of them to get his damn cheese cake😭😭
We didn't have social media like how it is now but everyone talked about the cheesecake moment
"Yall be focused on what's on you and not what's in you" Wow that was DEEP.
Yes!!! That was a word!
I pray he finds the help and peace he needs I feel bad for this young man
Praying Hard for Freddy P..He's speaking straight facts! 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤
I remember Q going through something similar on the show basically saying how they on t.v but he can't take care of his family. He was telling us then things weren't right, but ended up being let go. I always felt like he was made out to be the problem child cause he was telling the world Diddy ain't shit.
Right.. that's when Diddy made dawn break up with q
@@lavish_rayne5730 yup
I ran into Q once in Rochester during the filming of the show years ago. He looked regular and had anyone not been watching the show you would've never thought dude was on MTV every week
Actions always speak louder than words. Look at everyone who was on the Bad Boy label. The only ones thriving is The Lox and that because they were able to get out of their contract by putting Diddy on blast at the radio station. Everyone else is still having to perform like -Mary J Blige- B5, Day26 or living off other means of income or having to work. The only one eating is Diddy. I just hope Biggie's family is good but who knows.

Dawn Richard is killing it. Sis is dropping music and videos often. She’s the only one that’s truly survived Diddy.

Jobs are still hiring. He can build a legacy and wealth for his family. There are millions of former entertainers in every race that simply go on and be productive citizens. Black folks love to be victims instead of leaders and personal excellence and accountable for our own lives and health.
This the same thing Joseline doing with cabaret its the Scorpio in them full of manipulation, greed and entitlement coated with " I'm trying to help you be better"
Diddy took poor people and used their dreams against them
Diddy has been a monster for a long time! I was doing an internship for Plugged Magazine in 2002! I was going to school at NCA&T, majoring in Public Relations in Greensboro,NC! He was coming to the Marriott in Durham, NC! This guy had to fly all of his vehicles in, at least 6 or 7 of them just to put out in front of the hotel and then would not come out until he had some Voss water flown in. Back in the nineties it was not that easy to get and most vendors did not carry it. It only came in a glass bottle then! He is a dam monster! He has ruined many lives! They say his ex is gone because she was writing a book. Very interesting! God bless Freddie! Great video Ti as usual!
Wendy Williams been talked about Diddy, but y'all called her crazy.
Freddie P God is giving you Justice Right Now🙏🏽🙏🏽
That pressure happened to Sara too. She wanted to have a lawyer and her husband review the contract before signing and she was pressured into not following good business practices.
Fred and Babs were the main ones pressuring her to sign though.
@@GiftedKG Yes, but Diddy also (iirc) was like 'you holding up the band'. Even if I'm misremembering, from what we saw, there was no mention of them being recommended to seek out a lawyer.
@@candlesandcarnage However at the time, none of them was concerned about a lawyer except Sarah. Babs and Fred were the main two screaming about her not signing the paperwork. They could’ve gotten a lawyer and negotiated but no one besides Sara wanted too. It’s not anyones job to recommend them on anything.why would any record label do that? It’s a dirty game and unfortunately falls on them. Ignorant is bliss. They only one who was smart was Sara. (But she stilled sign). They should’ve listened to their band mate instead of being greedy and pressuring her.
