Back in the 80s there were 2 log flumes that intertwined with each other. Both flumes went in between trees that made you feel like you were in the tree tops. Since they were close to the gate, we would always squeeze in one last rdie in the dark. If I remember corrrectly one of the drops had a large lumberjack with an axe. Its not as good with the trees gone. Thanks for posting.
When you go to Six Flags in August and the temp is 95+ you pray to get wet!! Fun ride, second only to Thunder River

My favorite log ride was at Kennywood in Pittsburgh. RIP.
