Just heard the sad news, absolutely love this solo, this song, this album and this era of Whitesnake. 'Come and get it' 1981 and 'Ready and willing' 1980 was their finest hour for me, it was never the same once the Moody/Marsden partnership broke up..top job, beautifully played.
Thanks. I would say 1978-1982 : best years, 1984 : a very good transition album , 1987-... : a new Whitesnake with an "americanized" sound, very good too but totally different and that lost its originality
@StephLeGratteux it's funny that Bernie probably couldn't play like Steve Vai, Adrian Vandenberg or Vivian Campell but they couldn't play like Bernie either!. and those wonderful Whitesnake albums between 78 and 82 wouldn't have been as good without Bernie.

Hearing this song and the guitar solo is what got me into Whitesnake. I was amazed how powerful the solo sounded at 60 % ! 🇬🇧
