Back then during the mid to late 00s Xbox 360 was absolutely dominating PS3 because it was cheaper and apparently had more games and more exclusives. Also most third party games were inferior on the PS3 due to how complex it was and devs just made games for 360 and ported to PS3. I'm not sure exactly when but sometime during 2010-2013 PS3 did eventually overtake the 360 in sales but both were still pretty close and both got destroyed by the Wii.
Christmas 2009 was like an average Christmas morning…waking up mom and dad at around 6 am to tell them Santa Clause came and left presents for all of us. Opening all my presents getting toys, clothes and such. There was one more gift waiting for me and it was a big one. I tear off all the wrapping paper to be greeted by the sight of my very own PlayStation 3 Fatboy console with Modern Warfare 2…14 years later I still play on my PS3 and she’s still running strong sitting right next to my PS5

Missed out on this console during its prime by choice. Was on the Xbox 360 that entire generation. I did pick up a ps3 2 years ago for it's exclusives (since Sony doesn't care to make their old games playable on ps5) and it was fun playing God of war Ascension, 3, resistance trilogy, killzone 2 and 3, metal gear solid 4, infamous 1 and 2, tried little big planet 1 and 2 but it wasn't really my thing lol. Not a bad console, the controller is horrible imo. Even worse than the ps2 surprisingly
