I'll be honest I didn't know the Kostka could be destroyed. I assumed it was like the Yacht but thinking about it again it would be way to op considering it is a fully operational vehicle with missiles

There's sadly not much to do with the Ramius as it only serves as some sort of prop. Very unfortunate we didn't get that one instead of the Kosatka.

Kostaka wins. Cheaper, comes with a sparrow, and has one of the most important parts of gta online: the Cayo perico heist

People will say it teleported but actually it just drove around the racetrack hundreds of times, faster than the speed of light so that we couldn’t see it. Just to rub it in, it went back to the finish line right before the kosatka.

The Ramius is actually the Soviet nuclear submarine Project 941 Akula or Typhoon class as it is most commonly known as.
The Kosatka is Actually the Type 94A-"Jin class" Ballistic missile submarine which is in service with the Chinese Navy.
People might not know but ramius is actually based on Russia's(or soviet union) typhoon class which came during the cold War and kosatka is based on delta 4 submarine (mostly according to me) also from cold War.
Half people also might not know that the ramius is from The Doomsday Heist DLC.
The Ramius is also a reference to Captain Ramius from ‘Hunt for the red October’ by Tom Clancy
I think the players sub is based on the Virginia class sub from America

Would be cool if you could buy a ramius not to drive it either enter it but just use it as a way to control huge missiles that the kosatka has but with range that would be the entire map. Kinda like the Orbital canon but a bit more fair and you control the missile. It could also be very deep in the ocean.
Price will be 10 million or even more, but it is very cool idea

GTA V really lacks the destruction textures of the Skyscrapers in original game, not in PC mode.
Also the ability to provide tank battles inside the city , also where the textures will be similar to the war chronics .
So guys , I think the game should tuned for every kind of madness. This is what we love it for.
Imagine if the ramius could be used as another garage so GTA would now have underwater garages or a place used for storage etc.

4:03 That is not a horn, that is submarine ballast. They are necessary to put the submarine underwater or on water. When you need it underwater, it will be filled with water. When needed up, filled with air. That's why the sound comes, it's the air flowing

there's actually also a horn that's sounded when you're diving / surfacing tho; I doubt that you can really hear the tanks being filled as that would be really bad from a stealth perspective

@@mylittlepony7477 there's a compressed air system whose sole purpose is to generate compressed air for a variety of functions throughout the sub, including emptying the ballast tanks

They should add the ramius as like an upgrade for the kosatka, similar to the different cab choices for the MOB

fun fact: for some who dont know the sub ramius is dedicated to the movie the hunt for red october its a good movie i recommend watching it and the name ramius is from the russian submarine captain commander ramius from the movie and both subs are made in russia irl, the irl name of the ramius is Project 941 “Akula” or its NATO designation “Typhoon”

If Rockstar was ridiculously mad before releasing the Kosatka, they would've at least given us the option to choose which kind of submarine would we want.
Like 3 options;
1. SSBN- similar to the orbital cannon but instead you can launch an SLBM and sort of "tactical nuke" a part of the map and kill all the players in an instant. And for attention to detail you have 3 choices of submarines.
Design A- the Ohio-class submarine.
Design B- the Borei-class submarine (Because we already have the Ramius which is a Typhoon-class) or the Kosatka which is based off of a mix of the Delta IV and the Chinese Type 094 SSBN.
Design C- the Vanguard-class submarine.
2. SSGN/SSN- similar to the standard Kosatka but you can choose multiple submarine designs.
Design A- the Ohio-class SSGN variant, the Virginia-class Block IV or the Seawolf-class USS Jimmy Carter variant.
Design B- the Oscar IV-class SSGN or the Yasen-class SSN submarine of the Russian Navy.
Design C- the Astute-class SSN of the Royal Navy.
3. SSK- now this could be a design of multiple variants, these subs would solely be for torpedo warfare and will not be armed with missiles, and this would be cheaper except for 1 class.
Design A- the Japanese Soryu-class or the new Taigei-class.
Design B- the Kilo-class submarines of the Russian Navy.
Design C- the Scorpene-class subs from France.
Design D- the Dolphin II-class subs from Israel built by Germany. Now this would be more expensive than the previous three because this can have VLS tubes that can launch nuclear-armed cruise missiles, and the power would be similar to the orbital cannon.
The Kosatka's a good addition to the game but Rockstar didn't do much more thinking in the possibility of getting different variants of submarines, like how they gave us different variants of fighter jets and attack helicopters.
But once again, more grinding and more cash from shark cards for Rockstar.
I wish they could let us buy aircraft carriers or something

I alive the Hunt for Red October reference!!! It’s been one of my most favorite movies since it first came out! Definitely one of the best!
As a huge fan of Red October, I am not sad we didnt get the Ramius instead of the Kosatku. If i had to get a normal sub, I think i would have rather got a sub that looks like the AKULA in Red Alert 2. Or a WWII U Boat with a top mounted cannon.

Imagine if they would place Ramius in the game. An immortal submarine that has a large interior, and you could travel with it to North Yankton and do a good Heist and some missions there. A submarine like this would probably cost more then 5 million.
