Dear Fitsum thank you for preparing such explicit videos. but I have one questions I have observed data from 1990-2020. I do with CMhyd software for bias and extraction. I want to do trends(prec. and temp) for 2030(2023-2060) and 2060(2051-2080) with RCP 4.5and RCP8.5. while I do this CMhyd results only a short year of 15 years. how do I correct or do this required year up to 2080? please help me with this issue. with great regards
Thank you for your clear explanation of bias correction for time series climatic data. But how can we do bias correction for raster climatic data? or What is the most effective raster data bias correction method? Pls, can you assist me with anything? I've set a goal to assess agroclimatic indicators' current and future impacts on maize crop yields using the impact modeling approach.

does it provide bias correction for same period of time (not same years)for which we give observed data? for instance here observed data was from 1996 -2005 ,ie 10 yr so we can bias correct future data for 10 year only hence 2091-2100 or for any period of time say 2005-2099 if I have 30 yr overlapping period say 1975-2005?
thank you for your tutorial. I am using MIROC5 GCM which has 365 days in year and do not have 29 Feb in leap years. How to deal with this? Further I have observed data from 2006 to 2017, historic periods data from 1990 to 2012 only and thus the overlap period is 2006 to 2012 only. I want bias corrected data from 2018 to 2075. In this situation, is it possible?
Hi, Your videos always amazing. We have learned a lot with your videos. Thank you very much. How we can do this process for monthly climatic data? thanking you in anticipation
really i'm appreciating you for sharing an interesting tutor. To check whether the model is appropriately captured or not comparing the observed with historical is must for the same (overlapped year) of data. data quality analysis was an essential requirement in any climate change impact analysis. so does the outlier and Homogeneity test was required for future climate data downloaded?
I appreciate your videos for providing the information needed for researchers globally. Did you have made the video for bias correction for the observed streamflow/discharge data? If you had made any videos? please share the link. Thank you
i have a question regarding to cmyd software. when i extract different RCM data in different lat and lon the raw data always the same for every station and RCM data. so what shall i do?
Dear Fitsum, thank you for your tutor. I have one question, when I use Cmhyd for bias correction of daily data, it gave me 'value error: sample larger than population'. I have used 20 year over lap period. How to fix the problem?
Hi , after bias correction for rainfall at each station Can you make video to interpolate the data to make gridded rainfall using IDW method or other methods like theissen? Need help urgent. Thanks.

Hello Sir If is possible, help me how could I run the application (Cmhyd)? after installation when I want to open the software, the window of command prompt appears, and after 1-second disappears, and the base of the application not open or active. For your information, I use: win 10 64bit
I used CMhyd tool for bias correction (distribution mapping and power transformation) of historical gridded precipitation using observed data at 18 climatic stations points. Now I want to correct other grid values where no climatic station/observed data is available. Kindly guide me about it. Thank you
Dear Fitsum, thanks for the providing such a good video. I have downloaded CanESM5/CMIP6 data and the historical date is from 1850-2014. when i am using it in the CMhyd, it gives me an error, Value error: year 1850 is before 1900, the datetime strftime() methods require year>= 1900. I know it says i should remove the data which is befor 1900 but i don't know how. Can you or other friends help me for solving of this solution?
The overlap is only for observed and simulated historical data and you need at least 3 decades overlap period. The bias correction for predicted data (future) will be done for only those period you have provided.
@@Dr.Fitsum_Teshome when I used it gave me error "sample larger than population"How can I solve this problem? please inform me the way how to solve it.

Dear Fitsum your tutorials are very helpful. keep it up I thank you
Thank you Fitshum! Great work! Then how can we use the parameter values to fill the missing data outside the overlap period?
thank you so much for your useful information. this will really going to help me for my project.

What does bias correction mean? Is it calibration?
no, la correccion de sesgo es la diferencia abismal que existe entre un GCM o RCM de un modelo local.
