Hey Mr. Rush, I have a System 1 with the late SH-2 Plug Out Mono synth that sounds fantastic! That oscilloscope in the bottom left of the screen was impressive- can you let us rookies know how you added that?
My friend, a question: im planning to buy my first Synthesizer, around $2000 dlls range. I can't decide between: Roland System 8 Roland Jd Xa Novation Submmit Any advide ? Thanks !
If I were you I wouldn’t choose any of them as your 1st synth. Start from the bottom and move up as you progress. You don’t learn synthesis over night and having so many options will be overwhelming at some point. Limit yourself, master the gear you have and move on to the next level. Best thing to do is to get an analog synth with no patch memories that way you’re forced to program your own patches.
Comparing this with real analog synthesizers i always can instantly identify something strange unpleasing in Rolands VA sounds. Something harsh, tendency of metallic and kind of nervy. Also these all have a strictly monophonic signal way and the stereo reverberation and delay is not that great for really improving the sound character at all. Just a simple integrated EQ could improve the basic sound much more. And/or a dual hard panning unison mode for instance could improve the sound character drastically due to simulated analog randomness. However, these old guys at Roland seem to sit on their ears.
My goodness this thing sounds beautiful.
I love the design as much as the incredible sounds ! 😲
Same!
That sounds absolutely amazing 🤩
I love the Roland System 1 Synth. It brings Beaty to my ears. Great job! Subbed

Very nice Sounds=👍👍👍

ennio at the end...perfect match
These are all very good, but Lead 5 really gets me. Anyway you could share these patches?
Hi, I don’t think I still have all these patches. I often overwrite them.
If you could show all settings I might just be able to get the same sounds,I know nothing about them
What plug-outs did finally become available for this machine?
Are these patches all the default system 1?
Hi, Pad 01, 04 & 05 are presets from the System-1 plug-in library. The other sounds are self made.

Hi, I haven’t played the Summit yet, so unfortunately I’m not of much help here. But between the first 2, definitely the System-8.
@@Whentherushcomes thanks, really appreciate. 👍

Hi, 3 pad sounds were factory presets.
@@Whentherushcomes ok great. Remember which?
@@erikdijkhuizen Pad 01, 04 & 05 are presets from the System-1 plug-in library. You can save the sounds from that library into the System-1.
@@Whentherushcomes Great thanks for the info! 👌🏻
roland system 1 🎹💸🥲
Pad 03 sounds like organ
Where do you find these sounds? My sounds is totally different
You don’t find them, you make them. This is a tremendously capable synth that many people have slept on

You are delusional
Not for me thanks
Sounds like cheap VSTi
No sounds like a hi-fi masterpiece.
No, sounds like cheap VSTi@@htechdance
@@htechdanceLooks like you never heard "TRUE" analog synths, like Access Virus or Roland JP-8000/8080
