Kevin, you are fabulously interesting to me. I’m a retired RN and for me learning about reptiles is fascinating. Add into that the love and care that you have for each and every one of your animals is truly heartwarming. I cry at your care and love and can’t think of many others that would go as far as you do to support and love them. Meh, I’m soppy😊

Must be a thing; I am a RN within 10 years of retiring and I too love watching reptile videos. I can't keep them myself but enjoy learning about them. It has become a hobby that just keeps growing.

I stopped renewing my RN license and went back to veterinary nursing but not exotics much. We got a Ball Python that some friends found left in a foreclosed house. He's my grandsnake and I love my Sulley. We've had him 14 years now, he's a spoiled, chunky guy.

Sylvester reminds me of a snake that had come into my possession almost two years ago at this point and she basically had her whole top lip practically gone and some of her lower left lip but she was a trooper. She had a terrible RI, mouth rot, mites, and had a blockage of hardened urates that I eventually had her pass. She was eating, doing well, until one day I woke up and checked on her to find she passed the rainbow bridge. I miss her dearly and Sylvester reminds me so much of her, so I hope with all my heart that Pluto can lend him strength to get better. Would love to see Sylvester recover very soon and find a loving home. If I wasn't in New Jersey, i'd take him in an instant. Amazing job so far Kevin!! Thank you for helping him ❤

"For the love of animals, not humanity, animals." I felt that. I don't think I would have the guts to breed monitors. If something like that happened to my Nile, I would throw in the towel and call it quits. That has to be terrifying. I think I'll just stick to snakes and leave the monitors to Kevin. As always, love the reptile education and the update on Sylvester was very much appreciated. His improvement is slow but definitely noticeable! Good job guys!

Isn't it incredible how fast an animal can crash, they can have such an intense reaction and their little bodies can become their worst enemy in a matter of hours or minutes but then recovery and or response to treatments can be so painfully long days weeks months in some cases and some creatures. I just love knowing their are people like Kevin and his staff at New England Reptile to give these beautiful animals a chance...

As an Asian water monitor keeper, who actually got my AWM from Kevin, I am so thankful for the health videos. I love knowing that if something were to happen, I could discuss with Kevin. I have solved several issues with all my animals on my own because vets in wv suck, but knowing I have Kevin in my corner as a reptile lover makes me more confident.

I'm so pleased to have an update on Sylvester! Thank you for not giving up on him. He's such a sweet boy, bless him!! 💜
Kevin! When I get a notification to say that you've uploaded a new video, it's the highlight of my day!! Your channel is my favourite channel on YT, and I'm not just giving you lip service, I genuinely mean it. I have learnt so much from watching you. Your educational videos are second to none. Thank you for taking the time to make these awesome videos for us. 🙏🏼
I just want to say such a big, heartfelt thank you for never giving up on these beautiful creatures. As a veterinary nurse, I know so many veterinary surgeons who wouldn't give these animals the care and attention that you do, and that's terribly sad to me. If only those who work in the animal care profession cared and gave as much as you do, Kevin. 💜
Thank you so much for everything you do. Honestly, you're a reptile god to me. I'm always in awe of how wonderful you are with all these beautiful creatures.💜
One last thing, please don't apologise for not putting out much content lately!! You run a business and you have a home life, too, so I completely understand that sometimes life can get a bit busy, a bit complicated, and things can get in the way. Just know that all your real fans and followers are happy to wait patiently. Again, thank you, Kevin. You truly are an earth angel 😇

I'm fascinated with your videos. One of the first videos I saw was you explaining your method of handling venomous snakes and I was amazed, like, "this dude really knows what he's doing!".
It's clear how much you genuinely care for these animals and I really respect that. I think you're doing some awesome things for the reptile community. Thank you for caring so much.

What you do Kevin is educate people so they’re not scared & they get to see how beautiful & intelligent these stunning animals are. I’ve said it before, but I didn’t feel any particular way to snakes & reptiles & watching you & your channel has made me fall in love with snakes, especially king Cobras & other reptiles.
Your channel (& other channels like yours) is so important & I really wish that UA-cam would stop suppressing your more medical content because it’s crucial that good procedures & information is followed rather than so hard to follow stuff on the internet. Hope this makes sense.
Thanks Kevin & NERD for the brilliant content.❤

I've been watching for years, before Donnie came on even. Back then I lived at home and kept some snakes and a beard ie, I still get to see some of them when I fly back home and visit the fosters. But living on my own and working so much I never thought it was fair to the animals to keep them in my apartment when I'm never home. Watching connects me to the reptile hobby in a way that I cannot today, thank you Kevin for having so much passion and keeping the passion I have alive as well.

Ha, I'm one of those people that don't have any reptiles, but still watch. I absolutely used to hated snakes and lizards. I discovered your page and Brian barczyks pages about 5 years ago and have been watching both, as well as many others since. I enjoy watching videos like this, where you are trying to nurse an animal back to health.

Aww this made me smile ear to ear 🥰 so, so happy you love reptiles, they are so wonderful! My Pubba is a bw tegu, and he is more affectionate, communicative, and attached to me than even my dog is lol. Sleeps with me every night. Many of the best bonds I've experienced in life have been with reptiles. They're so misunderstood by most. It is fascinating to see how sweet and loving my lizards and torts can be, and my snakes are very inquisitive and actually seem to enjoy my presence. Pretty much all of my animals will sleep on my belly, unless they're nocturnal of course ;)

One thing I detest is Pet Shops that do not teach potential owners as to what they are really getting into and how to properly care for that animal they want to keep as a pet. You do a great job at teaching people about their animals which I think will lead to more and more owners not surrendering their pets so easily. Great stuff man:P

I'm another one of those folks that watch you and I don't keep Reptiles. I've watched a few channels over the last 4-5 years to learn more about snakes in general, but specifically because I had a copperhead issue in my yard. So I went down a rabbit hole and landed on NERD, Snake Discovery, Dav Kaufman, Clint's Reptiles, Wickens Wicked Reptiles, Python Cowboy, and NKFherping as I was learning about local snakes, et al. I'm now fascinated by them and even went so far as saving a milksnake that got into my garage over the summer. I was pleased that I can now identify all of my local snakes and no longer feel like " the best snake is a dead one". I owe it all to the educational information you and these others have provided. Y'all have a zest for these animals that really shows through. Please be kind to yourself and take the time you need to care for yourself. We'll wait for those videos from you - so don't apologize that it's taking a bit more time to get the good stuff out. Anyone that has a job, life, and hobby knows that crap happens. Do we want videos of whatever it is that is our passion from you creators right now? Yes. But, we can wait. I appreciate y'all and give mad props for the content you create. Thank you for what you do.

It's like why I love AntsCanada. I've never kept ants, probably never will, but there is something magical about listening to people talk about the things that they are so entirely passionate about. It's their passion for a subject that slowly makes that subject into something I also find myself caring about.

My wife, however, does not, so I do not currently have any.

Kevin, I have missed you all. I have had gerbils, fish, my beloved turtle, Squirt🐢 now in turtle heaven, that appeared in my pool; I know idea how that happened, 16 cats at one time(people were just moving and leaving them), African Gray; she died suddenly at the age of 7, and dogs. We currently have l Black Lab/Great Dane (11), a 6 year old long hair female German Shepherd, a 42 year old Yellow Napped Amazon Parrot, and 7 cats.
What I love about your shows, is the fact that you are teaching us about the animals/reptiles that no one ever has. Your helping us to understand them better, what to watch for, that they all have feelings, needs, and the proper care. God Bless you. Please don’t go away again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am yet another of your reptile-less viewers, I started watching your channel as unconventional research trying to understand my PTSD. The prominent theory around it is that so-called 'reptilian brain' takes charge of the cognitive functions when triggered, and through your videos I got a better grasp of what this entails in a way that psychiatry books can't cover. Your animal bahaviour videos have helped me better understand how to work with my own brain and, most importantly, to give grace to myself for (re)acting in certain ways under certain conditions. Thank you for making this content, I consider it, without exaggeration, part of my therapy. (I bet you'd never imagine this scenario, would you?)

I always eagerly wait for your videos. Popped breakfast in the oven poured my coffee and give you my full attention. You should not be surprised that those of us that don't currently have reptiles watch you avidly. You and your content style are almost addictive. I don't currently live in a place that's big enough to give the teenage boy and a reptile adequate space. I live vicariously through you and learn everything so when the time comes to have a reptile I'll be able to make an educated decision on which animal and proper husbandry ahead of time.

It saddens me immmensely how difficult it can be for people to find vets who will treat their reptiles. I couldn't imagine having to do an actual procedure myself at home in order to save the life of one of my snakes. Kevin is truly pretty damn brave for not only taking that risk but also posting the results on the internet, even when he's being actively censored. I have so much respect for what he does out of the genuine love for his animals, and I seriously appreciate him sharing this knowledge with us, even though I hope I will never have to use it.
