This was a huge help. My mom urgently needed a washer and since it was going to sit outside, we weren't spending a lot. Lady sold us one cheap because it overflowed and she could only get it to work on medium load. When we got it home, now it wouldn't spin. Expecting it was the belt, I came across your video and it was the exact problem. The machine works on big loads now too. Thaaaaaaank yoooooou!!!

This might have just saved my washer. I would have never thought of this! I pulled the hose off, and the little box the hose connects to was blocked by something the size of a small dot. I really appreciate you and thank you.

I have this washer, and in my case, there was a large amount of Fluff from god knows where and it was wrapped around the thingie that makes the belt spin, so as it spun it wrapped tightly around it and was starting to burn as the pully turned. So it would spin but it would stop and smell like it was burning.

My tube looks almost new. The pressure switch clicks when I suck on it. The belt seems perfect. When I close the lid and set it to spin it sounds like the pressure switch is continuing to click about every 2 seconds. When I open the lid it stops clicking. I even tried the open and close 6 times in 12 seconds to reset it (a few times). I really appreciate you posting this video. Do you have any idea why mine still will not spin? Thank you.

Hi. This looks like the exact washing machine that I have, and today it started giving me problems. I purchased it used about a year ago. It will not spin nor drain. It started make a very large scraping noise, and then it would no longer drain out tge water nor spin. I took everything out of the washer soak and wet. You can still hear a lot of water inside of the drum of the machine. When I put it on drain/spin it sounds as if its washing, but it's not draing out the water nor is it spinning. Please help me. I can't afford to buy another machine right now. How do I get the water out of the machine, (I can't see the water, I just hear it)? Do I have the same problem as your video? It's not draining nor spinning, and the drum sounds like it's still full of water. Please help. Thank you.

My clothes keep going to one side when washing so it's out of balance to spin . Then I stop it and it has to start washing all over.

Sooo I spent 400$ for a GE VBSR3100BWW washer... he said it worked "perfectly" 400$ we really didn't have but in BAD need of washer it seemed to work really great fills drains && agitates but doesn't spin I've tried everything noticed it seemed to be having trouble just getting started so I gave the agitator a little push && it started spinning great so it spins but doesn't get started on own WHAT CAN THIS BE ?!?! I have also tried this however it was clear && heard clicking right awayy ☹️

      Hi Ashley,
There may be something caught between the spin basket and the plastic tub causing too much friction.
Can you send me a video of the washer during spin so I can listen? Scottthefixitguy@yahoo.com

@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance soon as I get off work I'll for sure send a video Just hoping it's not transmission or clutch I don't know much about washers but it just makes no sense to me it does everything else perfectly

Well, it just happened to me. Once I managed to get the front panel off, I used a can of compressed air... I got the clicking sound. Then I used the plastic tube on the compressed air can to clean the port on the side of the tub.
Quick rinse cycle seems like it's going well. Hope it finishes, then back to laundry duty!
    Thanks!

Junk , you just got lucky . 9 times out if 10 it's the motor. GE appliances are the worst built , second Samsung , third LG.

Mine spins very slow, and most of the time I have to do 2 spin cycles due to excess water in washer after 1st spin cycle is complete. Can this be an easy fix as well or do I need a new washer? TYIA
