In the middle my link cable decide to disconnect thats why its paused for a moment, yet its still my best run on this song so far.
Played on custom rune speed set at 30.

This was so entertaining. It made me laugh several times because I can just feel the spaztic energy radiating off of those hands. Like, I can just hear you internally screaming while chaotically hammering as fast as you can. xD Especially at the parts where you're trying to save up for a gold boost, but then you see an insane bit rapidly approaching, and you're like, "ABORT!" and try to hit the shield to just get the blue boost but it immediately fizzles out. xD This was great. I need to upload more Ragnarock content for my two subscribers. Hahaha. I've been practicing and have defo gotten a lot better. I wish I could record in such high quality as this, but, being a Questie pleb, I just don't think it's possible. Maybe one day. How do you hit the shields so reliably? I often have to hit my shield, like, five or six times before it'll register. I can even be staring right at it and watch my hammer go right through the shield a half a dozen times without triggering it. It's really frustrating. Also, I subbed af.

About shields, it depends on the position in my opinion, since that video, I adjusted them a little bit. You might hit them too high, I have that issue sometimes as well.
@@vulter3018 I thought it might be something like that too, which is why I started testing it in the calm before and after each level. I can hit it right in the middle, right square in the boss, slowly and deliberately, staring right at it, and I literally watch my hammer go right through it, several times in a row. Slowly, quickly, somewhere in between, the front of the hammer, the back of the hammer, the top of the hammer-it doesn't seem to matter. It doesn't happen every time, of course, but it's, like, more than half the time. It feels like it's *at least* 60% of the time. Maybe 70%. I've adjusted the position a hot fistful of times too, thinking that that might be the problem. If it *is* the problem, I haven't yet been able to find the sweet spot, I guess. I noticed, though, that you have yours angled kinda downwards. I'm gonna try that and see how that works out. Also, as an aside, I respect how you artificially increase the speed of the runes. I don't do that in Ragnarock (yet), but I do do that in Stepmania. I generally play with a 20% to 30% arrow speed boost in that game, depending on the BPM of the individual track.
@@clearcrossroads I'm not an expert, but maybe it can be tracking issue as well, I'm on Steam version and didn't notice any issue with hitting shields (unless I hit them above which happen sometimes) You can also ask on the Ragnarock Discord.
Tbh I set runes speed at 30 when they added that possibility, just for fun to check, how bad I will do, turns out I was doing better than on normal speed xD Tho still max I can achive is usually ~50% perfect hits.
@@vulter3018 Mhm. I have a similar experience in Stepmania. When I turn the arrow speed up, I do way, way better. My theory on that is because, when the arrows (or, in this case, runes) are moving faster, your window of opportunity to hit them is smaller, which means that, if you're hitting them at all, then your likelihood of getting closer to perfect-and therefore higher-scoring-hits is higher.
Anybody else getting tenacious d vibes from this song or is it just me?

In the options, under advanced tab, you need to check the box that say "Spectator View". Then in game you press on the numpad keyboard 1-9 to change the view, I think I'm using camera 1.
