Masel, you are a god send to the GW2 community and I cannot overstate how massive you've been in getting me into pve content. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this amazing content
Thank you so much for the video! I love Condi Alac Scourge, but struggled to keep 100% alac uptime with only Viper gear. Switching to Ritualist armor (around 13% boon duration) helped.
Might be a silly question but... does the quickness for power Untamed build works when gathering or just in a fight? I currently play ranger and I'm looking for some "quality of life" build 😬
thanks so much for these! I've been playing your vindicator build along with a power herald one. Which variant of qherald would you say is better for fractals in general, condi or power? and do they do about the same dps?
Hey Masel, thank you for the great builds. I used this to make a condi alac specter but I have a question. Can you explain why you stay in shadow shroud longer and use only a couple of ritualist gear rather than keep the same rotation as the dps build but using full ritualist gear? Sorry I didn't understand your explanation in the video.
Every skill you cast in shroud gives more than 1 second of alacrity, but takes less than 1 second to cast. You can cast multiple auto attacks per second for example, but each of them applies more than 1 second of alacrity. Thus, the more skills you use in shroud (i.e. the longer you stay in shroud), the longer the total duration of alacrity per shroud loop. Shorter shroud loops require more boon duration to maintain alacrity because of that. That's also cool about specter, as you can plan ahead for downtimes or times when you know you'll be away from the group doing mechanics etc., as you can accumulate more alacrity by adjusting your rotation beforehand.
@@MaselMMO Thank you for the quick response! That makes sense, but what was the reason to not use the Quick Pockets trait and use Sleight of Hand/Deadly Ambush instead?
weird.. I dont see my alacquick mirage... hmmmm, in my experience, it is better than chrono. but welp, we have our own favorites!! great video btw!! very educational for someone like me who doesn't know much about other classes!! thank you!!
Glad the video was helpful! Your comment left me a little confused though. Mirage can't provide both alac and quickness to allies, it can only provide alac when you play staff mirage. Chrono can change between them on the fly. And it is worse than chrono in all regards: Lower damage with a slow ramp-up, lower CC, worse utility skills for group support... Mirage is basically a solo-only spec at this point, as it is outclassed by others consistently. It gets changed today though, so DPS mirage might be better than before.
@@MaselMMO wooaah, I did not expect go be noticed.. but yeah, my main, which is a staff/staff mirage does provide both alac, quickness, and more boons. around 11 boons all in all but I think I can only maintain 6 to 7 boons BTW, it's a solo build so I can provide those boons to myself.. It would probably change tho after this patch
@@ytjamnny6752 the builds I provided here aren't meant for solo gameplay, but for groups. The requirements there are quite different. For solo gameplay mirage is awesome and lots of fun!
@@MaselMMO I see, my bad. I do not have any headset or speakers so I watched your video without hearing anything. I just judged based on your title. I saw quickness and alac, then thought that "oooh, then my mirage is here!! gotta watch this!" aaand yah.. anyway, thank you for noticing!!
I use Condition Quickness Firebrand. Good damage with some CC, and I can use the other tomes for healing and defense when needed, or change the utility skill for Stability. Even then, the damage is more than enough for soloing groups of veterans and elites
I think it's still *Quickness Scrapper* . The *superspeed* is just too good when you're forced to be in unwanted combat and/or you have uncleansed conditions even if everyone's dead and you still can't mount up edit: it's a bit odd to play compared to the previous quickness application method, but I managed to alleviate it on solo PvE by using *Relic of the Chronomancer*
With that question, you're opening a whole can of worms, as you will get 6 opinions from 5 people :D Just choose an elite you like playing, all elites have great OW builds these days. If you tell me what you like, I can put toether a build, or maybe I already have one up on the wiki page
your expertise in the game and the effort in making these videos is commendable and I thank you for it. however, maybe consider _talking a bit slower_ and use the time to pronounce a bit more clearly. you are not a native speaker and it would probably help greatly to actually understand what you're saying. for example: it took me a while to get what you meant at 9:31. the word _aegis_ is usually pronounced /ˈiːdʒɪs /

Masel and MrMystic are the best

Every single of these adaptations are so amazing. Everyone interested in playing boon dps should watch this all the way through.
😮
Thank you so much!!! I needed to understand these better specially Alac scourge! I love your videos!
I will have to try your version of the Scrapper!
Thank you!
Thanks again for the gretest and healthy GW2 content overall. ❤

Thank you so much! Very informative and easy to follow
Hi Masel, instead of s/a, would it now be better to do m/m for the quickness untamed?
Thank you very much! Quick question for Quickness Untamed (pun intended), what skills should be on autocast?

hello, i am trying out alac/quick chrono and i am stuggling with the rotation, is there another video with detailed step by step rotation?
Do you have a personal tier list of these Quickness / Alacrity builds?
IE which is the best of the Quickness builds above?
for firebrand, i noticed you press 2-5-4 in tome 1 but it's written out 2-4-5. is the written rotation wrong or does the order not really matter?

are these still all up to date with nov 28th balance patch?
Great video (as always). You forgot the link for Condi Herald Build.
Ty, fixed :)
Is scepter better than sword? I thought sword was op and the best option now than we can use it in every spec
how come you dont cover power quickness herald?
I prefer playing condi over it :) these are just my favourites per profession, power quickness herald is very good too ofc
Incredible!
Quickness Condi zerker is also an option right?
Great video btw love your vids!
Absolutely. Its just not beginner friendly
It's gonna be even better with the new patch.
Is this build can be used for overworld?
The barrier is constant, yes, but its extremely weak from what It used to be, and unlike boons its not affected by concentration as far as I know.
Gr8 stuff and explanation can u share ur mini rotations notes if possible
ty
what would you recommend for an easy open world/pve build, solo?

Celestial Condi Herald, Celestial Condi Specter, Celestial Condi Anyone Basically is an open world bread and butter
why cant this be just 1111111111111
