What are the Snow Micro-balloons made from? We have micro-balloons for adding to resin in increase its strength and give it volume but those are made from minute glass balls that, while not 'toxic', are extremely dangerous if inhaled. Its very hard to tell what it is but there is no extra information on the website either.
Gave it a go, strangely I wonder if AK8009 (Sprinkles) has changed because it seems to leave larger clear dots through the ice when mixed with the Still water and AK8010 (microballons) when trying to get a frozen ice look. However, maybe this is the scale that I'm working at (28-32mm) that makes it look odd, but definitely doesn't look like the video. However, with a touch AK8011 (Terrains Snow) instead with the Still water and AK8010, you get a great looking frozen ice
As always good video, however at around 6:50 in the video there is no text in the text box when you go about using the still water mix witht eh first applied snow layer, maybe something missed when editing?
Synthetic brushes with stiff bristles. They are usually white and even if they are cheap, there is no problem. You can find them in fine art shops or other shops, a bit cheaper.
Grazie
Looks delicious! A nice slice of chocolate cake with icing!
Fantastic review and tutorial. Couldn't have done it on the first try without your superb tutelage. Thank you!
Listening to the music makes me feel like I’m in the front lines with Sir William Wallace....great tutorial though!👍👍👍
Love the tune!

Yes, something went wrong during edit process.
In these moment, still water is mixed with the first snow applied, this way, we imitate ice snow.
i was thinking about doing a snowy dio. this was extremely helpful!! waiting on part 2! 👍
what brushes does AK interactive recommend for the terrain effects mediums? el cheapo brushes, decent brushes? specific kinds of brushes?

Really useful tutorial. I've got a commission to do a Tiger in Winter and having never done snow before was wondering how to do it.. I know now :-)

Does this yellow over time?
Dear Sir, could you tell me what is the material of base?
A kind of insulating foam which you can fin it in "Do it Yourself"/crafts shops or construction shops.
Will there ever be a soundtrack available for purchase on the website? :)
At the moment, we sell modelism products, but nobody will knows what happen on a future time haha 😆
Great tut but please, change the music 😀😀
What's the difference exactly between Microballoons and Sprinkles. Is sprinkles finer?
Do I need both?
You don't need none of this. "bicarbonate of soda white acrylic paint white PVA glue
@@ifeyecouldpaint I'm trying this tomorrow! Thinking about BC soda I can imagine how this would work. Nice one cheers!
Be honest, who else watched it again ONLY for the music? :)
Please forgive my criticism but the snow looks like a badly iced cake
