    Thanks a lot for uploading videos for free. I had tried meditating several times before but always trew the towel because it was so frustrating to even think about fighting with my mind. Today I just “ surrend to the practice”. Thoughts came by and when you talked about the inner heart, and forgiveness I felt the need to cry. Sometimes to forgive ourselves is even harder than forgiving others, and I was scared to realize its hard for me to let go of guilt. But I’ll keep practicing self love. Thaks for being here for all of us who need some guidance. I love your yoga channel too! You are amazing :) big hugs from Mexico!

    I started today... I've stopped practicing and meditating for more tan 3months and I didn't know how to start all over again, I follow you for a while and I remember your posts about meditation. It was what my body and my mi dinero were looking for. I cannot thank you enough for the impact you have made in my Live. I always tell my husband someday I will meet you. I know God will let me make that Dream come true.

    Wow!!!! When I sat down in the beginning and she was counting 10 in 10 out I couldn't stay with her because my breath was racing! FINALY after counting I remember she said in another video don't force your breath so I listened and eventually my breath slowed down I felt like I was floating! I didn't feel any pain which I usually feel! So then she spoke about forgiveness and I was so comfortable and numb I didn't know if I should forgive out loud or within but in her previous meditation videos I do within and nothing changes. This time I said it out loud not to loud I actually seen myself hugging my sister who I have been so angry with and holding onto her head with her next to my heart and saying I forgive you sister! I swear I felt my first feeling after feeling like I was floating and the feeling was goosebumps racing down my arms! It was then that I cried and felt a sense of freedom! I will meditate from this day forward everyday! I believe anxiety and depression can be healed but only spiritually because they are issues within your spirit! I only experienced these two feelings for a year now I wasn't born with them so I know it's definitely a spiritually build of of negativity in my spirit! Thank you so much KinoYogo! You are saving lives!

    I like your focus on forgiveness especially. This is very challenging but as you say, has the potential to change the vibration of the whole body and mind. I think self-forgiveness is as hard as forgiving another... Maybe harder!

    I just did this. My mind is a lot less stable than I know. During 10 minutes, alot of things happened in my mind. I could feel my heart beat so fast while trying to focus to the breathing. When she mentioned about forgiveness, there were many things showed up. Things I tried to forget and things I don't want to remember. I guess unconsciously, my mind still holds on to those memory. As the memory got resurfaced, the breathing is less stable or I would say I battled with short breaths while sitting still...probably light anxiety attack. I totally didn't feel much of the leg numbness and the itches anymore, it was all about trying to align the mind into focus. The 10 minutes to me felt like forever and I felt a great relief when it was over. It wasn't the relief because the meditation session is over...just something right now I can't describe.

    NAMASTE GURUKINO, thank you Kino for the month on meditation. I needed this video. I am a firm believer in mindfulness and meditation is a large part.
    Kino, I a buying a 3000 square foot building in Auckland New Zealand. Half of it is for ashtanga yoga and the second half is for weights and cardio. I want you to set the yoga part up for me. I will come to Miami and discuss it with you and Tim.
    Again thank you for this month.

    Thank you for this first meditation, I have been wanting to get into it for a few weeks now but just didn't know where to start really, I wish I had started this earlier in the week, but I will try to do next week's everyday. I did find that my upper middle back (just below my shoulder blades) was starting to hurt a little, do you or anyone have any suggestions to make this more comfortable? I also really liked the parts on forgiveness and telling myself "I am breathing in, I am breathing out", it helped to keep my mind from wondering. Thank you again Kino ❤

    First of I realy like your videos.. your my go to place for yoga not just on the internet but also in general. This may be a stupid question but are we suposed to breath at the same speed as you counting? Since on the begining you said we should breath at our oun speed.. and the couting is only for returning the focus back to the breath?

      Just breath according to your own pace. If you need to adjust the count to your breath, faster or slower, that's all good. I'm just counting my own natural breath for example.

    hi I have a question probably won't get an answer doesn't hurt to try.I started meditating a lot clearing my mind focusing on my breath,but I had to stop cause I was having side effects from this I did not like it.so I dont clear my mind anymore I just try and keep positive thoughts so I'm confused about this wanted to know your thoughts on this.

    • @DrTontongon
      @DrTontongon 8 років тому

      What kind of side effects?

    • @KinoYoga
      @KinoYoga  8 років тому

      Meditation on a single point of attention, i.e., the breath is a root for your awareness. If you notice yourself veering off towards other thoughts or experiences just gently call the mind back to the breath. If you feel confused or lack spatial awareness just open your eyes for a moment and return to the tactile awareness of the body. Eventually the meditative mind is a tool and you can focus your attention on the inner body. But if the mind is unsteady and veers off towards confusion then it simply needs to be trained to remain steadfast and focused on that single point, which in this case, is the breath, to start.

    I was surprised how I was actually able to focus compared to the first time I tried his video. Maybe it was because I did it at night the first time and the morning this time. Definitely need to not over think reactions between my loved one and just forgive. Let it be ❤️ thank you Kino.
