(I'm so sorry.) After our first "one hit wonder" mid-season episode, the next season will start with an all new car legend. (The subject of which is still to be announced, stay tuned to my community page.) And then we'll be coming back to the Z-Car series with one of my favorite cars of all time, the 350Z.
As a lifelong Nissan owner and 20+ year employee at Smyrna Vehicle Assembly in Tennessee, this has to be one of the best documentaries I’ve seen about the Z32. Well done! 🛸
Thank you so much! I had a whole section in the last video about the Smyrna plant opening that I ended up cutting because it was getting a bit long and now I feel bad. I will definitely be talking about Smyrna when I do a series on Nissan pickups or the Leaf, it plays too important of a role in the history. Thank you for the kind words! 🛸
@ Production has slowed down but we’re still going! We’re currently building the Rogue, Pathfinder, Infiniti QX60, and recently launched the all new 2025 Murano. If you haven’t seen the new Murano, check it out!
As a 280zx owner its nice to see you cover every chassis as its own video, where they are their own models and have their own stories. Its refreshing to see in the youtube space
I really appreciate you saying this. I remember thinking how much I wish someone would make a youtube channel that did it that way and finally decided to just undertake the project myself. I'm glad to see others are enjoying the format as well!
Well done! I never realized the development of the Mid4 and Z32 were separate. I remember devouring the automotive press about the Mid4 in the mid-80s and then it faded away only to replaced by the gem that was the Z32. The Z32 is definitely on my bucket list of cars I need to drive before I die.
I think there is so much intertwined in both cars' developments and we'll never know the full story. A shame, because I stand by my belief that the Z32 and MID4 started out as the same project. I wish I could have found more solid evidence for that theory!
I’ve owned both the Z31 (1986) and Z32 (1990) and really enjoyed them both. The Z32 was a big leap forward for the Z and I believe it was ahead of its time as far as styling, technology, performance and value. I would love to own a Z32 again! Great video!
Right? The 1989 Chicago Auto Show sounds like it might have been one of the best ever. Three giants unveiled at the same time, pretty incredible. I wonder if people wandering the showroom floor then had any idea we'd still be talking so much about those cars 35+ years later.
The Chicago Auto Show folks seem to be pretty active online and they definitely have access to their archive. They might be able to help. I think doing a doc on that year is a great idea and I will look into it!
5:37 The team looked like they had so much fun developing this car!!! Such a beautiful collage of humanity history and automobile design. Such a talented and gifted and driven group of people. Little did they know their legacy would continue on and inspire so many cars and people and create such a cultural icon that transcends country and language
When I came across that photo I knew I had to include it somewhere. I made a note early on during writing the script of where I wanted to insert it. You could tell they were very proud of what they had made.
@makenmodel it was an impulse buy 3 years ago. Needed some minor work, and I had a plan to flip. But it got under my skin, and I don't want to let it go!
Thanks for the shoutout. You did the z32 justice with this video. It’s such a great comprehensive story of the car. Side note: I wish the z32 came with the same intake manifold as the mid4. 🛸
I had a high school teacher that drove a z32 in 1996. His license plate was ZX TIME. I asked him why and he said “Cuz when I get inside…ah, yeah, it’s ZX time now baby!” One of the coolest teachers ever 😂
I say the same thing every time I get in my ZX but I have a feeling I have only a fraction of the coolness that teacher did. Dude sounds like a rock star!
This video mentions that the Z32 was available in 1990-1996. This was for the US market as the Z32 in japan was sold until 1999. It had received a cosmetic facelift in 97 featuring BBS wheels, HID headlights, New front bumper, Side skirts, tail lights with clear blinkers, rear center panel with 3 lettering, wing, Light gold gauges, and some other interior accents like red stitching, carbon accents and recaro seats.. If i recall it was available only in a 2+2 in 1999.
I've loved this car madly since its launch, when I was 25, until today. With gorgeous lines, a timeless beauty. If I could, I would have a fully restored one in my garage.
It truly is a timeless design, isn't it? So many '90s cars quickly dated themselves and are now forgotten, but not the 300ZX. Nissan designers really made something special.
I remember being like 13 years old and seeing a neighbor that had two of them. I was so enamored then and since have always dreamt of owning one. Definitely Nissan's Magnum Opus for Z cars. 🛸🛸
Would love to see your take on the Mitsubishi 3000GT, which is the tribe I hail from 😂, I had a lot of friends with 300 Z's though I love the 32 I came really close to selling my 1994 3000GT SL and getting a 95 Fairlady once. But by then I had to much invested, between the Port& Polish, crushed velvet interior and DuPont Chameleon paint ($8500 in 2001) I wasn't willing to start over again and after the port and polish I could keep up with the turbo cars so it didn't really matter so much anymore. That's my short story. I would love to see how you approached my beloved 3000 GT. You have another subscriber, thank you so much for the thorough videos.
Really appreciate this. The 3000GT is one of my all-time favorites. It is on my list of cars to make a video about, and hopefully soon. It's just such a beautiful car.
That is a really good top three list! Those are all favorites of mine as well. I really want to do an episode on the F40, but I'm wondering if it should be a part of the series with the F40/F50/Enzo/F80. I think I should.
I love this. It's so tempting in the video to be like "smash that like button and ring that bell!" but so far I have resisted, haha. I appreciate that others got my back.
That commercial with the RC car and Van Halen playing in the background was burned into my brain as a kid. Always wanted a Z32 tt. When it came time to buy my first used sports car, that complicated twin turbo v6 just barely fitting in the engine bay is what scared me off as I knew it would need some serious wrenching along the way. Always kinda thought it was a shame that these didn’t get the rb26 engine instead. What a car that would have been.
There is nothing wrong with the VG30Dett once u learn a few things. Delete the water cooling on the plenum ( intake manifold ) and regular maintenance is easy Pulling the motor is only challenging until u establish a method I’ve done it many times and my first engine build was a vg30dett No pain no gain It’s always been worth it.
I know I am somewhat biased as I am a hard core S130 fan, but the Z32 is my second favorite Z chassis. I used to own a Red 96 slicktop and the weight advantages and handling was so evident compared to the T-Top that I considered the TT engine swap with TT rear diff. I now know why the Twin Turbo was an OEM option as a slicktop in Japan only. I suggest making a video about the Z32 TT Version S slicktop. They do exist in Japan and are eligible for import.
I have purposefully been avoiding talking about the Skyline in this series because I love them so much and if I started I wouldn't be able to stop. I will definitely have a series specifically for it.
🛸 Another absolutely great video! I loved the "pop up video" homage. Great details again and the graphics with the street fighter 2 homage was a very nice touch! I am sad that Datsun/Nissan wont be a focus again for a while. I will continue watching because of the incredible details, and information.
I really appreciate that, Tom! And I'm glad someone got both the Pop Up Video and Street Fighter references. I had a lot of fun making both of those. 🛸
Incredible, this is one of the best series on UA-cam, so thorough and production quality was impeccable! Keep it up these are great, even if I am a little bias 92’ 300zxTT owner checking in!
@ the interior design with the sloping dash that wraps around, and the timeless exterior styling. I was in love with it as a kid and still love it today.
Bro I don’t know how u haven’t blown up. I was surprised to see u only had 2k something subs. I instantly liked and sub and will have to check out the rest of the series and videos!!!
Really really appreciate that. Everyone's gotta start somewhere. I have big plans, but I need to put in the effort at the beginning first. It's all upwards from here!
🛸 Z32 is one of my favorite Zs right next to the latest model, the RZ34, which, in turn, both are Twin-Turbo powered Zs. My color for the Z32 would be red, though... In addition, the Z car I own in diecast form when I was a kid was the Tomica Nissan 300ZX cop car (that model I have to this day has seen better days, despite it still runs on its wheels, it lost its roof along with the light bar, similarly I also had a red 300ZX made also by Tomica, and it had the same fate) nowadays, I have two Hot Wheels 300ZX and one Tomica Premium model to this day.
My very first Tv was a 13" Color TV from Montgomery Ward, just like the one at the opening video and my first car sales job was in 1992, selling Pathfinders, Maximas and 300zx's at Brea Nissan, thanks for taking me waaaaay back to my 20's!
This is clearly one of the best production videos of its kind. Kudos to your efforts and to your talent. Thank you for sharing it with us. I've owned many Z cars over the years, including a 1993 Z32 convertible. Truly a car ahead of its time...a modern classic. Keep up the excellent work. You have my support. 🛸
My favorite Z car right after the 240Z. Especially design-wise. The Z32 was a beast though; the performance was incredible. I actually got to ride in one when I was being picked up from high school to go to my dentist appointment. This was a world-class sports car, and in my books it was still worth every penny.🛸
I think calling it a beast is the best way to describe it. I think Nissan went all-out with this one. Great channel, btw. I love all the hyper-detailed 1/64 diecast that's starting to emerge as the fandom grows.
I actually love the RZ34, pretty much the best Z I have driven to date and what the 370Z should have been, and I plan on picking one up once interest rates come back to normal. Get an hshift base model (has the good R200 differential case) and then upgrade it with Nismo, SPL (subframe bushing upgrade!), AMS, and Z1 parts. You will have a Z that's more fun to drive than the actual Nismo Z for about the same price if you can do most of the work yourself! It's a shame the Nismo Z is auto only and doesn't even come with a lot of the Nismo branded parts on offer for the RZ34, (which in all honesty a lot are just rebranded SPL and AMS parts).
The RZ34 is such an incredible car. Though I think the 370Z is pretty great too, especially the styling. But yeah, the RZ34 is truly a return to form of the original 240Z. Especially with some modifications! I have a feeling we'll be seeing a manual NISMO RZ34 before production ends. I think Nissan is saving the best for last.
I know, it's pretty amazing that it is this huge automaker and it's facing so many troubles right now. I am really interested to see how the possible-merger with Honda and Mitsubishi might pan out. (With or without Renault.)
That mid 4 with pop up headlights was a good looking car. I could definitely see people buying that. I was born in 81 and people loved that back then. I think that car would've sold. I might be wrong I don't know. Even if they had named it a different car from the Z line i think it could've worked.
I love my 95 Z32. From swapping it from auto to a manual transmission and adding proper tasteful and reliable modifications including titanium Nismo suspension plus Nismo wheels, I can’t say I favor any other vehicle more.
WOW! Less than 7000 1992 300ZX sold in the USA and I one of them. Purchased a black 1992 slick top NA with 80k miles in 1998. Still own it today, now with 126k miles. A few minor mods over the years and a paint job in 2000, she has been a joy to own. She doesn’t run much these days. Only about 1700 miles a year but she still looks great. I have enjoyed the ride in “The Z”!
Love how the music added so much to the atmosphere and mood of the video. A few things was missed though. You can also tell the difference between a turbo and non turbo by the back wheels. The turbo has wider staggered wheels when the non turbo ran the same size wheels front to back. Also on the final year in 96, it was stated that the z32 only made 280 hp due to them not being to retain the variable valve timing due to emissions when switching over to obd2
10:50 such a car ahead of its time even today. I’ve always thought the car looked like an axolotl salamander, with its slight smile and up turned eyes. In a good w. Y’all let me know if y’all see it too
Make sure to watch some buyers guide videos! Especially watch out for areas of rust on the frame and ask about the timing belt. I am super jealous! I'd love to own one.
Just subscribed. I've seen other videos of yours but was slightly hesitant of subscribing because I didn't see you talking to a camera, which led me to believe that this might just be an AI voice. This time paying attention to the credits I can see that's not the case. I hope your goal of doing this full time happens. Hopefully later in the future you can do other 20th Century JDM vehicles.
I totally get it, that's the big worry with doing a "faceless" channel. AI is everywhere these days and I make a specific effort not to use it. But also that is quite the compliment, that my voice even could be! I'm definitely looking forward to doing more JDM vehicles, there are so many classics on my list like the Supra, Civic, Celica, Corolla, Integra, Skyline... well it's a long list, haha. Thank you again for the sub!
I've adored these since they debuted in 1990, and have almost pulled the trigger on buying one twice... but I ultimately get scared of the complexity of the cars and walk away. Still... they're just gorgeous machines and so much car for the money. Ugh.
NGL i was totally hoping the Ridley Scott "turbo" commercial would've been played at the intro (the one where the z beats the jet) 😂 It may only be my opinion but the Z32 2+2 may actually be the only Z car where the 2+2 is possibly the better looking one. Obviously not including the Infiniti G coupes which were basically 2+2 Z cars in all but name.
About a block away I’ve seen someone with this car for years. It’s no garage queen. I just got a GR Supra myself. I was never familiar with Z history and didn’t realize the 300ZX and the new 350z were related. Shows what I know about cars other than what does and doesn’t look cool to me 😅 I feel like my Supra kinda resembles the 240z tbh
It had to be, right? There are too many signs pointing at that being the case. Maybe Nissan thought people would call them crazy for doing it. But then we saw what happened between the C7 and C8 Corvette and it seems less crazy to us these days.
I'm not 100%, but I am pretty sure that that is a Celica doing the jump at the end of the Ridley Scott commercial [ 14:36 ]. Did anyone else break out the slow-mo for that one? If you did what do you think it is?
I did some digging and it's thankfully definitely a 300ZX. They actually ended up finding the car sitting unused at a California university. They couldn't figure out why it was painted both silver and black and had blacked out windows, and then they started looking into its past and discovered that it had been used in the commercial. It was a pretty fascinating story!
I'd still have a Z32 over any of the other modern Z's, those things were built with no compromises but pushed a bit too far out of the spotlight by the GTR's.
Why don't many Americans ever seem to acknowledge that these cars actually stayed in production for another four years or so? I get that they weren't available in the US after the 1996 model, but although you DID briefly mention the Japanese 2000 model towards the end of your video, you didn't seem to be aware that there was indeed a facelift with the late spec different front bumper, rear lights and spoiler, and there were more special editions, the version S and the version R for example with additional chassis stiffening, different interior trims, different instrument clusters, recaro seats, etc. 🤷
Good video, although Toyota were probably looking more closely at the styling of Ferraris when designing the Mk2 MR2, then at Porsche for the Mk3. Not so much at other Japanese manufacturers, seeing at the Mk2 MR2 is still known as the "Japanese mini Ferrari". Take this point as a "for the algorithm" and not really for a point worth a point, more of a point for point sakes really. (Good video, by the way)
Really appreciate the kind words. And I think you're right, I was mostly just joking about their inspiration. :) A lot of design ideas were being shared (willingly or not, that's up for debate) between manufacturers during this time.
Thanks so much for the appreciation. The title is a little editorialized for the sake of being "youtubey", but a longer version might clarify things a bit more: "Here's why the 300ZX Z32 was the first time that Nissan made a final Z car." Which is a title that really only makes sense in the American and European markets, since we had a big gap in Zs being sold and weren't sure if there ever would be another one.
MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE SKYLINE! NISSAN SHOULD BRING BACK THE BODY DESIGN OF Z32 UNLIKE THE Z33 AND THE NEW Z TODAY IT LOOKS FAT, BULKY AND UGLY! I WISH THIS IS THE SUPER CAR OF NISSAN NOT THE GTR!
I love the Skyline too, it would be really hard for me to pick between the two... That being said, I am definitely looking forward to seeing if Nissan have a new Skyline (R36?) in the works because the R35 is getting a little long in the tooth!
@@makenmodel NISSAN BROUGHT BACK THE SKYLINE AS A SEDAN IN THEIR INFINITY LINE UP! They should bring back the Skyline name and stop sing GT-R because it is not as fast as the top flag-ship models of Lamborghini and Porsche! I really do wish they use the body style again of the Z31 and Z32 once they will replace again the current Z! The new Z's bodys style was from the 240Z but it hardly looks like the 240! 300ZX is the best modern looking Fair Lady Z and still looks modern in today's standards!
Great question! Some markets (namely Japan) sold Z32s through the model year 2000, with some stock remaining in inventory up to the 350Zs release in 2002. Here in the States though, we had a big gap where there were no Zs at all.
The 81 front end looks like the the nissan exa in Australia i can't remember what year the Nissan exa came out in Australia i know around 80s 90s no i i think 90s you should google it you really want to know
For real, it especially has a front-end shape that reminds me of the AD-1. We had the Pulsar here in the States, and it's one of my favorites. I would love to do a series on it, and if I do I will probably end up talking about the Exa as it was the previous generation of the Pulsar! Thanks for the heads up!
Ha, Honda didn't copy or look at Nissan when designing the NSX. They had their sights on Ferrari, and in fact, their prototype was designed by Pininfarina
I'm positive they didn't, I was just making a joke. That being said, you have to admit the front end of the NSX and MID4-II look very similar. Enough that whenever the MID4-II is brought up, its the first thing anyone comments about. (Maybe Nissan snuck into Honda and copied their designs!)

A Z32 with an RB26? Sign me up. And I feel the EXACT same way about the commercial, haha. Nissan knew what they were doing.
There is nothing wrong with the VG30Dett once u learn a few things. Delete the water cooling on the plenum ( intake manifold ) and regular maintenance is easy
Pulling the motor is only challenging until u establish a method I’ve done it many times and my first engine build was a vg30dett No pain no gain
It’s always been worth it.
So proud of you hard work! It just keeps getting better!
The best wife ever, right here. ❤️
Worked at a Nissan dealer with the launch of the 300ZX Turbo,,what an amazing car..
That is so cool. Did they have a big event for the release or did it just show up to put on the lot one day?
I know I am somewhat biased as I am a hard core S130 fan, but the Z32 is my second favorite Z chassis. I used to own a Red 96 slicktop and the weight advantages and handling was so evident compared to the T-Top that I considered the TT engine swap with TT rear diff. I now know why the Twin Turbo was an OEM option as a slicktop in Japan only. I suggest making a video about the Z32 TT Version S slicktop. They do exist in Japan and are eligible for import.
I hear they were INCREDIBLY wild to drive. You really had to know what you were doing.
Great documentary. This would have been my favourite ever Japanese car if it wasn't for that damn Skyline that keeps whispering in my ear
30:12 love the clean style of that exhaust and rear valance, if I ever get another Z32TT I'd love to copy that look 😁!
Totally agree, it has such a great presence. I love a good tasteful mod.
Z32 headlights were also used on the R390
So many great insights. How did I not come across this in all my years and research for this video? Fantastic info!
@mbush @makenmodel Also, the Samsung SSC-1
I have 89 year model and i love this car
Incredible, this is one of the best series on UA-cam, so thorough and production quality was impeccable! Keep it up these are great, even if I am a little bias
92’ 300zxTT owner checking in!
Wow, thank you! Super kind to say. I will keep working on these. Glad you're here!
😎🤙🏾 95 model baby
Merci pour cette vidéo très complète de la Z32 qui est pour moi la plus belle des GT à ce jour
Merci beaucoup pour vos gentils mots! J'ai été ravie de réaliser cette vidéo.
My favorite import. So sexy especially in white. The whole line was so cool
I think white is probably my favorite color on the Z32 as well. I tried not to let that bias into the video but it just looks SO good.
The Z32 is my favorite Z.
I think it's definitely a lot of folks, and it's easy to see why. It's such an amazing car.
@ the interior design with the sloping dash that wraps around, and the timeless exterior styling. I was in love with it as a kid and still love it today.
I love your logos animation at 3:08, its so cute!!!!!!!!!!
Always love to add the little things to the videos :)
1999-2000 (Japan Only) had a major facelift.
Amazing, yes - I wish I had discussed this a little because these facelift parts are sought after. Thanks for this!
Awesome Documentary!!! One of my favorites!🛸
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. 🛸
@@wailingalen bros a real one
I love that these cars are still remembered in the form of collectables. I'd love to get a diecast one myself. And yes, in red! :) 🛸
I'm so happy I came across your channel. I'm going to binge watch all your videos now since it's all Z videos!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy. I've got a few more to do that are still coming (350Z, 370Z, and RZ34).
Man, that video is great. You deserve more recognition. Keep up the good work!
I'm going to try! Thank you!
amazing video! I am glad it was suggested to me.
Thank you for the support and comment! I'm glad you're here. :)
My very first Tv was a 13" Color TV from Montgomery Ward, just like the one at the opening video and my first car sales job was in 1992, selling Pathfinders, Maximas and 300zx's at Brea Nissan, thanks for taking me waaaaay back to my 20's!
I love nostalgia and enjoy sharing it with others. Mission accomplished? Thanks for the kind words. :)
I love my z32. Expensive if you want to mod it but it's worth it. 725whp!
725! That's incredible. Does it still have a VG30DETT under the hood or is it LS (or something else) swapped? Amazing!
@makenmodel yep. Vg30 still in there.
Thank you!!! I've been waiting for this video these are awesome cars !!!
Thank you so much! Was really happy to release this one since I knew so many were waiting for it.
Really, really appreciate this. Thank you! I will work to keep making each video better than the last.
@@makenmodel Thanks! I had no Idea you were into diecast. And I had already subscribed to your channel too.
I love my z31... But the 32 is a beautiful piece of engineering, drivetrain and chassis.
I feel the EXACT same way. Love my Z31, but the Z32 is just incredible.
Crazy to think the car company nissan might go out of business
I know, it's pretty amazing that it is this huge automaker and it's facing so many troubles right now. I am really interested to see how the possible-merger with Honda and Mitsubishi might pan out. (With or without Renault.)
Watching this video I’m glad I never sold my TT 96 European Z32
God bless you. NEVER SELL HER EVER!!!
That mid 4 with pop up headlights was a good looking car. I could definitely see people buying that. I was born in 81 and people loved that back then. I think that car would've sold. I might be wrong I don't know. Even if they had named it a different car from the Z line i think it could've worked.
I totally agree. I love pop up headlights though, so I might be a bit biased, haha.
Nice presentation. Comprehensive and well researched. Insightful. Tasteful. Subscribed. ❤
Thank you so much! I will keep working on these.
Great video! Amazing how much research goes into these
It does take a ton of time! I'm glad it's noticed and appreciated. 💛💚
I love my 95 Z32. From swapping it from auto to a manual transmission and adding proper tasteful and reliable modifications including titanium Nismo suspension plus Nismo wheels, I can’t say I favor any other vehicle more.
🛸 you can tell I’m a fan by looking at my profile pic and yes that’s MY Z32 I own anyway appreciate the vid much ❤
🛸 Love your car!
This channels gonna explode subbed
Really appreciate you saying this. I sure hope so.
@@makenmodel it will I wouldn’t worry
Love how the music added so much to the atmosphere and mood of the video. A few things was missed though. You can also tell the difference between a turbo and non turbo by the back wheels. The turbo has wider staggered wheels when the non turbo ran the same size wheels front to back. Also on the final year in 96, it was stated that the z32 only made 280 hp due to them not being to retain the variable valve timing due to emissions when switching over to obd2
Another fantastic video and I'm looking forward to the rest! Though do be sure not to overwork yourself 🛸
I really appreciate that. I'm working hard to make sure I take a little downtime between videos. :) It's important! 🛸
Had a 90 z32. Spent a fortune on it and it really was the best car ever.
A tale as old as time, haha. And one I'm discovering for myself.
Do you still miss it ? Did you ever regret letting her go? 😢
@akeemweaverwebster2762 it was stolen.
10:50 such a car ahead of its time even today. I’ve always thought the car looked like an axolotl salamander, with its slight smile and up turned eyes. In a good w. Y’all let me know if y’all see it too
I totally see it. It's got a very wide profile. But it's a little more subtle than the catfish 4G Camaro!
Very cool video!
Thank you very much!
👾Great vid again. Keep up the good work! 👾 (couldn't find the UFO lol)
It's kind of tricky to find, haha. The alien works! 👾🛸
Yass, another Topher car tales quality production style video 😆
More to come!
This is crazy literally buying one next week
Make sure to watch some buyers guide videos! Especially watch out for areas of rust on the frame and ask about the timing belt. I am super jealous! I'd love to own one.
Thanks. I enjoyed that. 🛸
Thanks so much! 🛸
whole channel with just videos about fairlady... you must be a huge fan
they're ok
miatas next trust
Yusssss...the best Z.
This one was for you!
@@makenmodel 🛸
The Z was Japan's middle finger to the US.
Someone told me that Nissan was Japans revenge to the world after the bomb got dropped on them twice
They definitely had something to prove. I like to think of it as they wanted to show the world they could make something amazing too.
Z33.. Can't wait!!!
Same! I am super eager to make the 350Z video. I've already started!
Great video, Thank you for sharing! - 94 2+2 owner
Damn good video 🛸
Thank you so much! 🛸 I'm really trying to put in the effort.
@makenmodel it felt like the good old days of TLC, when they had the engendering shows back in 98-99. I subscribed brother can't wait for the Z33 vid.
08:56 I wish I had a lighted Nissan sign like that hanging in my garage lol.
Haha, that would be epic. I wonder if any of those old school signs are still hanging around...
@makenmodel good question!
I had a 🛸 it was a red 89 fairlady twin turbo. Loved it.
Perfect way to incorporate the 🛸 emoji, haha. I really love these cars in red.
@makenmodel thanks, man, red is gorgeous 😍. Your channel has been awesome to watch.
I've adored these since they debuted in 1990, and have almost pulled the trigger on buying one twice... but I ultimately get scared of the complexity of the cars and walk away. Still... they're just gorgeous machines and so much car for the money. Ugh.
Bravo 👏 👏👏
Thank you!!
NGL i was totally hoping the Ridley Scott "turbo" commercial would've been played at the intro (the one where the z beats the jet) 😂
It may only be my opinion but the Z32 2+2 may actually be the only Z car where the 2+2 is possibly the better looking one. Obviously not including the Infiniti G coupes which were basically 2+2 Z cars in all but name.
It's such a great commercial. I actually had it there until I moved it later in the video. Was hard to pick between the two for effect!
The 90s to 2000 was my favourite era in Japanese car
Me too. So many classics. It was truly a glorious era.
Great video! Please, just pay more attention to the sound mix. The music is disturbingly loud, especially at the end... Thanks!
Nissan Mid4 was totally suppose to be the z32!
It had to be, right? There are too many signs pointing at that being the case. Maybe Nissan thought people would call them crazy for doing it. But then we saw what happened between the C7 and C8 Corvette and it seems less crazy to us these days.
UFO emoji. Is that wanted? Otherwise, this is the closest I could find 🚀
Close enough! Any sort of spaceship will do, I think. 🛸
Z300tt absolutely a super car hicas 4ws and the headlights used in Lamborghini!!!!!
@makenmodel awesome, thank you for the update friend.
I MISS THE MEME FORMAT AT 17:20 very 2020. i genuinely forgot about that
These old meme formats live rent free inside my head and I call upon them when they are needed most
I'd still have a Z32 over any of the other modern Z's, those things were built with no compromises but pushed a bit too far out of the spotlight by the GTR's.
Uh phrasing 😂
🛸🛸🚀🛸
Haha, I was wondering if anyone would catch that. 🛸
💯🔥
Thank you!!
good
Thank you!
I don't think I can remember that engine - the name is too obscure. I hope you remind us later in the video.
Hahaha I love this comment! It'll be back.
Z432 was peak z. Z32 was like a proto r35 gt-r
So much work went into this. Yet the title doesn't make sense. Why?
@@makenmodel
NISSAN BROUGHT BACK THE SKYLINE AS A SEDAN IN THEIR INFINITY LINE UP!
Didmt the 300zx last until 2002?
The design of the Mac actually came from Nissan. I’m not sure how it was acquired by Honda but it 100% came from Nissan.
