I remember buying this on CD in 1993, only a year or so after i discovered him and played it over and over again. This interview reminds me of those days when i was hearing his music for the first time and discovering so much about not just him, but all the other wonderful music.
Isn't Aris a photographer rather than a hack? Whoever the interviewer is, his questions and general manner are on the 'snide' side... Bowie was very patient.
I want to hear David talk about spirituality occult philosophy art history etc He is super intelligent I cannot for the life of me understand why interviewers ask such moronic questions again and again and again He has answered these questions hundreds of times and then they ask him the same crap Makes me very very angry
Melissa is not mentioned much, but didn't he meet Iman in 89 or 90? Strangely, as much as he loved her, she's just not mentioned as much as I would think.
He met Iman in the late 1990s if I'm not mistaken. The same year he ended his engagement with Melissa. Not much about because he kept I very low profile relationship.
@@junnaredd9912 They were married in '92 though. I wish she'd write a book so we could could get sneak peak of their happy life together. Appreciate your answering me.. thx
Fascinating conversation....feels like eavesdropping on a private chat.
