I grew up playing the 2600. I really enjoyed that system. Thank you for making a detailed series of your systems/games.

I loved the old Superman too! Wasn't until the web became huge that I discovered so many people don't enjoy it. But whatever, I do. Always thought it was cool how they crammed so much of the character's universe into such an old Atari game. They had the kryptonite, his xray vision, his ability to fly, the phonebooth to turn into superman, lois lane, the daily bugle, and of course Lex Luthor and some goons. For the time, it was great.

I love seeing people's Atari 2600 collections. A couple months ago I put my Atari 2600 collection video up. I'm right at 298 games but I do collect some of the label / type variations. The Atari 2600 is still my favorite game console.

Excellent system to start the videos off on, and you have a very extensive collection of titles too.
I think I have about the same ratio of boxed to loose games that you do now I would say.
I really need to have another go at my Seaquest record and get the crown back so to speak.
Seriously when I just want to sit down and have a nice relaxing gaming session, I will pick a bunch of 2600 carts and play the system for a while. Quite a few of the games would be in my top list of all time.
Looking forward to the Atari 8-bit collection.

Really nice collection. I like that you based your atari 2600 collection on gameplay quality (and some nostalgia), because most of the rare games for the 2600 aren't really that great to be honest.

I have it too, it's not even that bad, I've played way worse on more capable systems, it's a must for a true gamers library.

Fantastic Voyage is really good. I think it's actually better than River Raid (more variety), but it never gets the recognition it deserves.

Do you have Pitfall II now?
I am still trying to chase a copy down in Oz. I have around 140 Atari cartridges.

Do you have a C64 collection video?

You don't have the games that use the keyboard controllers. That's CONCENTRATION (or HUNT & SCORE); BRAIN GAMES; CODE BREAKER; and BASIC PROGRAMMING.

+Croooow!!! Just as a point of trivia, the Video Touchpad that was included with the 2600 version of Star Raiders is a remodeled keyboard controller. I used to play Codebreaker with it.
You should also get a Starpath Supercharger and some games for it. I think Phaser Patrol is one of the best Star Raiders clones on the system. Escape from the Mindmaster, Dragonstomper and others are also really good.
