Folks - I got some questions, it’ll help me shape the episodes, just try to keep answers as straight and spoiler free as poss 🫶🏼 1. Am I right about how these side quests progress, I’ll run into stuff as I move around the map - it’s not a case of me being able to do a whole side quest from start to finish? 2. The Riddler side quest, is the interrogations the extra secrets I need to trigger the next location? 3. The ARs - I’m guessing there’s a very good reward at the end? And it’s side quest, right? Not Riddler related. I’m wondering if I do these offline too? Thank you! 💚
1) some of the side quest parts only trigger when tied to main story progression. They will become completely available before the final act. 2)I think it's literally a matter of riddles solved / trophies collected that trigger the next riddler hostage room. Only a tiny number of riddles relate to the developing events of the game. 3) The ARs just grant xp. But you get to feel accomplished? 😂
2) Hi Nat each Riddle location needs secrets which the interrogations reveal collect enough secrets then use the gadget to find the next location hope this helps tried not to give to much away but if you need any more help then im happy to help in a non spoiler way
1) It depends on where you are on the map and some parts are a little hidden for a certain side quest. 2) It is total riddles solved. So that means question marks, riddles and other secrets (harley heads in steel mill and penguins broken in the iceberg lounge and balloons). Also certain moves like using 5 beatdowns throughout the playthrough (there is a way to see the progress on this as well as certain gadgets which do you not have to do these).. 3) Not really the ARs was the grapnel boost for the first 4. Just XP like said. (The AR Advanced 1 is very hard to me, the one near the steel mill so don't get too discouraged on that one) Hope you enjoy the rest of the game PS: There is another part to do after the Final credits roll if your looking to be a full completionist of the game.

I absolutely love how they expanded upon the Riddler quest from Arkham Asylum to this game. Genuinely so brilliant. Your enthusiam for everything Riddler related has me excited for the inevitable Riddler trophy completion video!
The Riddler is one of the best characters in all the games and these games have the best adaptation of the character outside the comics. Wally Wingert who voiced the character in all 4 games always delivered such an incredible performance that always managed to perfectly capture Riddler's obsessive personality, massive ego and superiority complex. It's Wally's voice are here in my head when I read comics with Riddler.
Nah, Barbara's not jealous, lol. She just knows how Bruce can be around Talia, who is one of Bruce's love interests, lol. He and Barbara have a platonic, familial relationship. In the comics, she's in a relationship with Dick Grayson, the first Robin and one of Bruce's adopted children! Bruce and Alfred's dynamic is incredible, I adore them too, lol. Alfred really is the heart of the family. I think you'll be getting more and more invested in all of these characters as this game and future games go on :) I see people have already answered your questions really well! I'm glad you've put some more attention on the side missions in this video, too! Some of the ones in this one are really fun and have some storyline implications! Also glad you've unlocked Riddler's riddles! Solving the riddles will give you the Arkham stories, which are interesting! I think you'll have fun with all of it :)
That tunnel glide challenge was far more difficult than it needed to be. I remember it took me over 30 mins to do it, and even then I think it was more blind luck more then skill.

There is a DC Comics animated movie that the Riddler is briefly in where they kind of wrecked his character a bit. He asked a riddle to someone, and she solved one within seconds. He said, "You must've heard that one before," and she replied, "No. I have Google like the rest of the f**king world." I think the question was: "What runs around a city, but stays in one place?" See if you can solve it without looking it up.
Side quests you can do start to finish. The ones you were aiming for this episode were the ones to do as you go. Won't say how to achieve them, but will say there are other side quests you haven't unlocked yet even though you were near them. It's just a matter of play style. The riddler secrets are unlocked by interrogate the riddler information. How you unlock the next hostage rescue is...collecting riddles, trophies,riddle challenges and collectibles and cctv cameras and cctv Tyger stations like where ar 1 was located at. As for the ar challenges not part of riddler challenges it is possible but you can do them off screen. There is a little something at the end but you won't get it outta of me lol😂. Great game got to get me a TV and gaming station again need this series in my life again.
It may help you to know that the compass at the top of your screen shows you the direction to go to your set objective. You keep looking for the batsignal in the sky, and sure that's useful, but it's much easier to just look at the top of your screen.
So that sign that says, "The Black Canary," is actually a reference to the super heroine of the same name! Black Canary's super power is her ability to create ultra sonic soundwaves by screaming. It's called her "Canary Cry". She's a really cool DC super hero
Answers: 1) Depends. Some you can do continuously and others will pop up at different times in the story. It's not the same for every side mission. 2) Yes, Riddler's informants reveal locations of riddles and Riddler trophies. 3) After the initial AR challenges, there is a gadget upgrade but after that you don't gain anything significant other than XP.
Enjoying the journey Nat! 😁👍I know you mentioned you wanted to avoid backseating etc. but I hoped I could possibly offer a fairly minor tip or 2 regarding the riddler informants? (if you'd rather not want to know, please feel free to ignore the rest of this comment...I fully respect & understand if this is the case) 1.) Don't be afraid to counter them a few times if need be, they can take a good handful of them at worst without getting knocked out. 2.) A good way to temporarily get them out of the fight so you don't need to be worrying about countering/evading them is to utilise the ultra cape stun. A triple press of the circle button on them will knock them down on the ground for a good bit of time & let you focus on the other enemies. (just be careful not to accidentally ground takedown them!) 😂 That AR training near the end is by far the most difficult one so don't feel too bad/frustrated about it! 😂 As someone who has played this game at least a handful of times I still struggle with it.😆
Ra’s al Ghul is my favorite of all Batman’s villains he’s clearly a megalomanic tyrant willing to kill yo see his goals through but he is driven to do good he just goes to the extreme for it more than that he knows Batman’s identity as Bruce Wayne and he still keeps it secret. In the comic books Batman and Ra’s share a link through family.

"Maxie Zeus disappeared in Arkham Asylum after one too many rounds of electroshock therapy." They shocked a dude named Zeus with electricity. Sounds like just the irony needed in a comic book story to turn a guy from regular villain to a super villain. Good call guys. 🙄
I don't know how much of the comic books you're going to explore so I won't tell you about a storyline between Talia and Bruce/Batman that happens in the comics in case spoilers. The storyline in the comics is not explored at all in these games so there won't be any spoilers for the games but let me know if you're interested and I can let you know some juicy details.
@@PhoenixNat There is a storyline in the comics where Batman/Bruce has a son with Talia, that she keeps secret from him for 8 years. The boy's name is Damian. Since he old enough he would be trained by the League of Assassins to kill, but they want him to be as good of a fighter and as brilliant as Batman, so they give the boy to Batman to train. With the idea that Damian Wayne would not only become as good of fighter but would also inherit the Wayne fortune. Then he would return to the League of Assassins with those resources to lead it toward achieving the goals of Ra's al Ghul. Of course, Bruce doesn't want to train the boy, because Batman doesn't kill, and Damian has been taught his entire life that killing is necessary and right. Batman/Bruce does eventually make the boy the newest Robin with the stipulation that he cannot kill under any circumstances. Hoping to eventually break his son free of the League's idea of killing is justified and instead follow his idea that life is worth preserving even in the evilest of men. The question is which ideology will win out in the end.

You have to collect the trophies and solve the riddles to get the riddler locations. The interrogation is like the map in asylum, juat shows you where

I think that is the most difficult AR training in this game...I've played the game a few times and that one always trips me up...
