Turns out, between the ages of 13 and 17 he started reading non-conservative media (Apparently some philosophers like Nietzsche and Wittgenstein) and turns out, didn't agree... he then got shit on by conservative critics who he mocked by calling them "scorned right-wingers showing all the maturity of a little boy.". So what I'm saying is that yes, those teenagers might look scary acting like Rush or the like, but eventually they grew out of it. If my neighbor wouldn't have been a very liberal polygamous astrophysicist that partied like a rockstar regularly I may have been in the dark much longer. But having that influence was what allowed me to see the world in a new light. Everyone thinks they have it all figured out before they graduate. I'm only 25, so I didn't get to live through it, but I envy those who did. I think another problem is that most schools just don't do a very good job of teaching the basics of astronomy, why its important, and how we know what we know. Schools spend too much time forcing people to memorize the names of planets, and other rote learning methods that have nothing to do with science. Ask most people how we know the big bang happened and you'll almost always get a crazy answer.

I appreciate this for the satire that it is, but I think the true joke is that young leftists such as myself and the people my age I associate with have a higher intellectual capacity than most conservatives.

He's not wrong. At least 14-year-olds have the excuse of still learning, and of course, all teenagers are smug little snots who think they're the smartest people around (I say that having been one myself), but the fact that there are conservative adults in the media and government who say and believe these same things is a little frightening.

Apparently the second one later switched parties, saying that he was a brat as a kid. After he did this, the conservatives pulled a sweet and sour grapes on him and called him an annoying brat, anyways.

My problem with Styrofoam is the squeaking. I had a cooler in my car but couldn't stand that noise and had to throw it out. A shame since it kept the ice better than the hard plastic ones.

I was a conservative when I was younger. Then I grew up.
I'm only 25, so I didn't get to live through it, but I envy those who did. I think another problem is that most schools just don't do a very good job of teaching the basics of astronomy, why its important, and how we know what we know. Schools spend too much time forcing people to memorize the names of planets, and other rote learning methods that have nothing to do with science. Ask most people how we know the big bang happened and you'll almost always get a crazy answer.
Jonathan Krohn is now a liberal who said if he could have voted in 2012, it would have been for Obama. So, I guess we all grow up sometime, now don't we?
