FasTrak only operates from Hartford to New Britian and Bristol. So you'd have to get a connecting bus. The FASTEST way however is taking CT Rail up to Hartford from New Haven and hop on there since the busway begin right after the station.
Coming? More like came and went. I was in Hartford for the Amherst Train Show and decided to fan the busway because the 101 stopped right at my hotel in Downtown.
But it works. I mean we were going at Light Rail Speeds and only had to deal with one light. I kinda think this is one of the better BRTs this country has. Better than whatever the hell SBS is tbh. Which is just a Limited bus with a dedicated line lets be honest. This line actually follows an old railroad line so its very little traffic interference.
@@CaseysTrainsTrue, but, be honest when was the last time you’ve seen the CTfastrack having a decent crowd. Trust me I’m a CT resident and I barely see anyone at the stations or buses, even before COVID hit I barely saw anyone, but maybe that’s just my perspective. If it’s a waste or not that’s for you to decide. You are entitled to your own opinion, but I think we should have used that money to improve our crappy commuter rail that is SLE, and now the Hartford line.
If I go to New Haven, could I find some CT Fastrak up there?

I did not know you were coming to Connecticut

@@CaseysTrains I've been the busway a year after revenue service, and in March is the 5th anniversary
Looking back at CTfastrack it was Waste of money
