I dated a guy like Eric. He was the worst thing that ever happened to my life. Although he tried to rush things in our relationship, I slowed him down and he was patient with me which lead me to think he was right for me. Luckily we didn't marry but we were talking about marriage and he approached my family and asked for my hand. He acted very helpful and charming to me and everyone around us. But I was naive to his lying nature for 2.5 years. I felt very scared when the truth came out. I questioned logic for weeks. Now I'm scared of dating men again. Men like these should be locked up.

I believe she was so thirsty to find a man, and to have someone so “successful” that she looked pass every sign that showed her who he really was. She didn’t get to know him, his past, his present, his everyday life, how he reacted under pressure, how he reacted when angry, ect. She simply didn’t know him at all and a month isn’t enough time to determine rather you want to spend the rest of your life with someone.
