im playing nba 2k11 again using the ps3 emulator i had to watch this video to learn how to play the game again lol i was a beast and knew how to do all the moves back in the day but iv accidently done some sweet stuff just playing so i figured id better watch this again
0:54 if you look closely rondo dribbles but the ball never leaves his hand till the second dribble, but they will probably fix that cuz the games still in progress
i dont like north to south cameras but i wouldnt mind playing with this angle at 1:48 with chris paul or at 1:54(eye level) with d.rose those camera angles are sick, i just hope is available in the game

@XxDash2coldxX yes they do, i go to work with kobe everytime i play the demo am getting more beast, the one thing i really gotta work on is the post move. pay close attention.u set up the iso dribble then let go of L2. and if ur playing broadcast angle, to iso dribble to the right u push up on the LS,and to dribble left u push down on LS and vice versa when u switch sides(court)
Guys guys... ladies and gentlemen... the controls do in fact WORK. It is just a bigger learning curve than expected. People wanted a more advanced game. 2k gave it to us. You can't expect the controls to not get more advanced thats what happens when you make a game like this. you need variety in isomotion and you got it. now you are complaining bc you can't do the dribbles? C-MON its been a day since release how about try it for a week and come back & comment? patience ppl patience.
ive played nba elite demo and its a huge improvement since the last few were very dissapointing but i havent tried 2k11 yet. Ive collected all the live series since 2000 on Playstation. what do u reckon is better gameplay? im not too fussed about graphics.
Happy they revamped the controls i expect more surprises bcuz using the L and R triggers were gettin kind of annoying tryin 2 do a crossover i expect 2 see more surprises for this game

This is going to sell great along with jordan on the cover. They'll have more sells than normal because of jordan, the new ballhandling system, and elite looking like it sucks.
@TheStuuner34 On Miami. They made the game with LeBron in Miami. But even if they didnt, theres something called automatic roster downloading. If something new happens like if someone gets traded. Your system will use the internet to download the new team rosters. Well that's if you have internet connection. If you don't, it's okay because the rosters are fine for now.

The new size-ups in NBA 2k11 are still in canned animations, where you hold LT and press an arrow direction for a specific size-up. Plus you can't even chain this sizeups, so where's the total control/responsiveness there? SMH they should think that executing a sizeup can't only be achieved by pressing one or 2 buttons it should be a combination of little moves that when chained together forms a unique sizeup move! 2k should focus more on the TOTAL revamping of this controls for next year's game
@tbraysmanee1 morphing is when a part of one players body or the ball goes through another player. for example, alot of times in 2K10 when you went for a block, the defenders hand or arm would go right through the ball without effecting it. sometimes even certain dunk animations would cause the player to completely go through another players torso like a ghost just to finish the dunk.
It's nice to have new offence, but there still isn't a major fix to defence, which is the only big thing really setting it back besides the morphing problems.
played demo on xbox , idk .. dribbling the ball feels more difficult and complicated .. not sure if i like the new control system .. but looks nice, and signature moves are very well animated (developers did a good job with that) .. maybe i have to wait for the final product .. idk ..
@3nigmatikFunk its no luck based. making the shot its all up to you. you just have to release the shoot button on time. but you will miss wide open shots. the cpu takes over the game.
@MrUniqueosmosis yea, driving to the basket, i agree .. seems like its not as easy, which is a good thing .. makes it more realistic and better .. and also, the invisable FORCE FIELD .. l.o.l. hope they fixed it .. that was a bad glitch in 2K10 .. yea dude , we pretty much on the same page .. i agree with a lot you say .. just the dribbling thing , i rather use Y Button to spin , instead of new trigger method .. like i said, it made my hand sore ..
@vegasvideopro X is the pass button not shoot. it's always been like that. plus using square for shoot sucks anyways, there's a reason they use the right stick as the shot stick. no news about the demo yet i think.
they need to revamp the triple threat moves. basic protect the ball and jab step don't cut it any more. There should be more fakes, ability to protect the ball with one hand for certain players.
@1MILLIONARE1 it's the same thing, except replace LT with L2 and the LS and RS with the ps3 sticks. these moves worked when I played the demo on the ps3.
I hope the signature gather means that I can finally do Dirk's spin-fake-shot. He's been doing that for years in real life, never seen it in a game. Plus, the dunk packages need to be fixed this year. Some of the animations just looked wrong.

i've been nba live fan for years but this year with elite, EA really sucked the fun out of playin a basketball game by having poor game flow n worst graphics then ever.... so i just bought 2k11 n cant stop playin it... i m simply hooked.. n plus MJ was the best, is the best, and always will be the best... damn i really wish he still played... thumps up 2k... great work..

They definitely listened to the online community. This is far more intuitive and looks exceptionally better than 2K10. So fluid and real!

That stepback jumper is amazing looking.
Left stick perfect.. but post play is better in 2k14 and there are way less restrictions as to where you can hit stepbacks, spins, etc from
