One thing is the size exaggeration. What makes them funny is if they have small eyes then it's funny to accompany those eyes with a bigger nose. If you get the shapes right then I would exaggerate the features from big to small or small to big. You really crushed the more simple shapes too. The simple straight, curved and angled lines really add to the drawings fun factor, great video!
Wow, this is exciting. Might take me a good long while to get to your level, but so much fun to see how you think about the exaggeration etc. Very useful!
great exercise, oh my goodness! game changer! Do you mind showing how you put this to application in the live sketch scenario? it's great for practice, but is their a way to incorporate it in as I progress my skill set with the live sketches? :)
I use this exercise for practice at home, but when I do live sketches, I only have three or four minutes to do a great drawing, so there’s no time to do this type of exercise live. When drawing live, I just draw the person one time but I know that my practice time at home has caused me to improve. Thank you!
I’m using a zebra brush pen for the eyes, nose and mouth, and a Tombow brush pen for the outlines. There are links in the description to get them on Amazon. Thank you!

Love your videoes!
Thank you! Hair is not easy, it takes lots of practice, and I like to look at how other artists do it . Tom Richmond, one of the best at drawing hair.
