Literal shivers omg. The original is a slow ballad but Madison's cover is a midtempo ballad - swaying in the middle of the dancefloor while the disco ball lights shine across your face and body. She has such a beautiful voice. I want to hear these types of heart wrenching sad songs in this style from her.
This moved me to tears. Just like she'd do with her original songs such as "Ryder", "At your worst", "Dangerous", "King of Everything" etc, this cover shows she ALWAYS knows to sing from the very heart and soul of the performance. Plus she is a very kind and generous human being in person too and never once rude to her fans (unlike some artists you would find with a higher status than her) plus her songs do create a deep meaning within the lyrics themselves. I feel she would’ve been bigger if people recognized her from like acting like Olivia Rodrigo or Selena Gomez because they’re similar to her talent wise. I can definitely feel the disconnect between her social media presence / following vs being respected as an artist.
