Its beautiful video. Thank you so much. EB Ray most influential punk guitarist for me in whole my life.
Thank you very much!
One of my favorite guitarists of all time, thank you for breaking this down!
Dude, this is an awesome video. Huge DK fan and love to know more about this guy’s playing. You got a great understanding of his style and influence, I think.
Thank you very much.
Please do Billy Duffy of The Cult
Great spotlight on Ray! Enjoying the hell out of your analysis of playing styles(inclinations) of great guitarists! Do you think you might do a video on The Chameleons’ Dave Fielding and Reg Smithies or Daniel Ash from Tones on Tail, Bauhaus and Love and Rockets. Anyway, thanks much!
Thanks a lot. I already thought about Daniel Ash, but never got to it...love Bauhaus though...
Awesome Jakob thank you.
Probably my fave ever band, you nailed the tone.
Mick Ronson next maybe?
Thank you very much, also for your suggestion for a new episode.
Bedtime for Democracy was the first "political" album I'd heard as a teenager. I listened, and it guided me to further think about injustices and why things are... the way they are. It opened my eyes to a lot of things. I have been a fan ever since, even though Jello Biafra is sometimes full of shit. So glad to see East Bay Ray getting some love and recognition, and the Dead Kennedys being showcased as musicians instead of political / punk vehicles. Thank you for this video.
Thanks for watching!
i always thought Ray played a lot of singe notes b/c they were, instrumet wise, only a three peice. he had to be the solo player over the bass backing.
