I can’t believe you did this with dip powder. You are so talented and creative. Thank you for sharing your beautiful designs. I just subscribed to your channel.
Wow, I am in awe! This is absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing with us. I lost my dad recently and when I was growing up every summer when we would go rafting on the river we would always stop on the shore to hint for agates. It was one of my favorite memories. I will be doing this one soon. 🥰🥰🥰
Oh my goodness what a wonderful story! I am so sorry for your loss ❤ I'm glad this brought you some happiness! I almost lost my father last year so I feel for you so much. I'd love to see your results if you do this!
Wow! That turned out so smooth and realistic! I love this marble, so pretty.🥰 New to dip nails, and can’t wait to try this! Thank you for the in depth tutorial on how this is done.
Beautiful color combination and I'm definitely going to do this combination. I've found for me when marbling with powder, I use a nail art liner brush to apply the base and a scoop (nail tip, cuticle pusher etc.,) to sprinkle the power on. This method for me, gives better control on thickness of the lines and using scoop helps to avoid any loose powder getting in the other colors. Also for me, it avoids a lot of filing to smooth out any bumps and is over all less time consuming. With my carpal tunnel I've had to find through a lot of trial and error the fastest way to achieve the same results.
Did you do this on both hands? I really want to try but I'm worried about trying with my non Dom hand. Lol However I guess with the stone look imperfection would only add to the character, right...??
I wonder if this could be done with the gel method? Do a thin strip of gel base polish, dip, push, and then maybe cure for 15-20 seconds before starting the next strip? Would take longer, but I have a terrible reaction to dip liquids, so I can't use them. This is a *beautiful* look - and like Shelly commented a year ago, I have fond memories of my grandma who was very crafty with agates AND always had beautiful nails!
Of those I have used the slowest dry times are Sparkle and Co and Triple Vitamin. Medium are Double Dipp'd, Adrada, Ten x Tina. Quick are ones like Revel, Peppi, Tony Ly.
I absolutely love this! How do you prevent your base brush from hardening when you cap in clear? Since you used activator already so you could file all the layers before that.
Just wait long enough so the activator isn't as strong usually. I use Double Dipp'd liquids and they don't harden easily (even the top coat) so it isn't really something I worry about. But with other brands I'd just wait a bit, wipe with alcohol, and float the base coat over the nail to help prevent brush hardening.
I use a hand file on myself because it's easier to control with my off hand and I feel I just get more precision on my own nails with it. I use a combination of hand files and efile on others.
I absolutely loved the outcome of this, but I have to admit I was triggered watching the process for some reason. 😬 Out of all your Marble Mani's I'll try your spoon one first (when all my new dip powders arrive) then maybe in a few months I'll work my way up to your Pink Marble method. I've only recently started using Dipping Powders, so baby steps. 🤗
@@MelissasManis yay! So excited to catch that one and I promise Ill be patient enough to do at least sccent nails with this method. Came out gorgeous and its clear getting this effect right was a labour of love for you. Ty ty! Now off to tortoise shell.
Hello Melissa. I am new to your channel. Actually this is my 1st video! I haven't even started dipping yet. I just ordered my 1st trial kit from Kiara Sky yesterday. I have had issues growing my nails long since pregnancy, and a friend told me that using dips can help you grow out your nails.. so I have been looking at tutorials... Man have I watched a bunch!! This has to be one of the neatest, most creative techniques I have ever seen when it comes to dipping.. I havent seen this anywhere else! So cool!! I really like this alot. Looks like it would be fun to pour a glass of wine, and just take your time sipping and dipping lol. Excellent video. I will be watching more of your channel this weekend. Looking forward to seeing more of your tips! Hope you have a nice evening. Xoxox from FL
Thank you thats so kind! That is definitely the way to do it! Just sit down and enjoy the process ❤ it's so much fun! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Looks incredibly labor intensive but the pay off is WOW! So beautiful, thank you for sharing!
Its a labor of love for sure! Honestly didnt take much longer than any other nail art designs I've done though ❤
Tried it and loved it !

I had the same thought about the nail art liner brush. Glad to know it’s a workable option. TFS ☺️
This is just stunning!!!!
Very time consuming but totally worth it. Beautiful. Thanks for the video! I liked the texture.
Yes this look is certainly a labor of love but its one of my favorites ❤

It takes a little time 😅 but the results totally worth it!
So great!!!
Crazy, insanely BEAUTIFUL. I would be DEVASTATED if I broke or chipped that nail. LOL
Thank you! Luckily I havent broken a nail in quite a while!

Thank you 😍
THIS IS GORGEOUS!!! Super labor intensive but gorgeous. I actually loved the other nails matte
So did I, I almost left them!!
Creative genius!
Thank you so much 😍
This. Is. Stunning!!
Thank you!
So, SO cool! I wasn’t sure about Sage it Isn’t so. But now I think I NEED it 😆
Its such a great color!
Cool thanks for sharing
You're welcome!
Have you tried using a smaller brush and using that to dip into the base just so the lines are not too thick?
Yes, the brush hardens and becomes unusable very quickly.
Omg! This is absolutely gorgeous!!!! 😍
Thank you! 😍
Did you do this on both hands?
I really want to try but I'm worried about trying with my non Dom hand. Lol
However I guess with the stone look imperfection would only add to the character, right...??
Absolutely! But no I only did it on one hand 😬

I'd love to see a gel method version of this!!
@melissasmanis can you do a video on doing this method with gel liquids and dip powder please pretty please 😊
Absolutely beautiful ❣️❣️❣️
Thank you so much!
Ahhmazing.😍
Thank you! ❤
That is insane !!! I love it!!! Don't know if I have the patience to try it though!!! Lol
It wasn't that bad! Always so satisfying to me to finish something like this.
Have you ever thought about doing the gel method with these intricate designs to be able to have a bit more play time?
I have but I generally prefer to stick to dip liquids for the durability and avoiding having to cure between each color
Gorgeous!!
Thank you!
How would you rate drying time from slowest to fastest of the different brands of dip base liquids
Of those I have used the slowest dry times are Sparkle and Co and Triple Vitamin. Medium are Double Dipp'd, Adrada, Ten x Tina. Quick are ones like Revel, Peppi, Tony Ly.
Gorgeous
Thank you!
Where did you get all your nail powders I love the fools gold
Theyre all Double Dipp'd Dip Powder. Fools Gold is unfortunately retired :(

Just wondering if you use an efile instead of a regular file and why you choose one over the other?
I use a hand file on myself because it's easier to control with my off hand and I feel I just get more precision on my own nails with it. I use a combination of hand files and efile on others.
This is so cute! I want to recreate. Are these colors still available?
Not all of them at the moment. But I'm sure you can find something similar to sub out!
I’ve been bingeing your videos for about an hour now lol. What’s your favorite dip brand?
Double Dipp'd is my #1. Her quality is top tier and the powders are so smooth. Even her solids!
I absolutely loved the outcome of this, but I have to admit I was triggered watching the process for some reason. 😬

It's ok, so weird that I felt triggered by the process, as usually I love watching nail art. It's my Happy Place. 💖💖
@@bellahsnailtrail mine too! 😊
@@MelissasManis 🥰🥰
It’s very pretty but that would take me all day long lol!
A little practice speeds it up 😅😂
How would you do this with gel?
Gel and Dip Powder? Or just gel?
Just gel
😍😍😍🔥
CAN YOU DO TORTOISE SHELL WITH DIP???
