I appreciate it! Unfortunately, I'm sure production value matters a lot in that respect. I don't have the time to do the quality production that folks like That Blasted Salami can do. :(
@@XiangsGaming don't need high production values to make a good guide. The way you speak, the information you give in a short time frame is pretty valuable. I get the info I need in a easy to understand format. Don't need 2 hour long guides to get your point across!
You forgot to mention, that extended duck 1 on normal hit leads to the same combo as CH df2, but easier (no need to duck cancel) Very nice guide. ~1 week ago I start to use flk1d1 and I'm surprised, how much people eat 1,2,1 (as CH) after it. Now I should try to delay flk1d1 ;__;
This is awesome guide you deserve a lot more subs and views ! Really helpful cause you explained everything very nicely, especially the baits and setups
Thankfully, Steve has very favorable hitboxes, so you can probably stick to your normal mids like df1, df2, etc. Your common lows will good, too, like d1, d2, and so on. If you want to hard read it, you can df1+2 or ff2. I would pick based on your risk tolerance.
Kinda weird question but something I’ve always felt playing Steve Can you block low when in flicker. Or do you just use f2 Flickr to catch anyone who tries a low when you’re in that stance
Yes. Pressing db will let you block low and also take you out of FLK. Doing f2 in FLK just gives you normal f2, so not really an anti-low move. Unless you mean uf2? Which is fine if you wanna take the risk and try to get a launch.
@@XiangsGaming you make a very good point with the db, don’t know why I didn’t think about it before tbh And yeah I’ve always done flkr f2 just as a habit and tried to use it to get a counter hit on an attempted low attack, but now I won’t be needing to take that risk Nice vid man, and appreciate the response

They're all related to his kick buttons; going into a stance is what he uses his kick buttons for. Pressing a kick button with no direction will do a weave, flicker is b3+4, etc. If you ever forget, the game gives you the notations in the movelist in practice mode. Good luck!

Intermediate player here and new to Steve. Gonna practice him for the challenge. Any tips/ keymoves to keep Ling's AoP in check?
