Just a heads up. If ur lights, the keyless entry lights, come on and stay on. Change the battery in ur key fob. It's the alert to tell u ur battery in ur fob is low. Its in the manual as well. Hope this helps someone. Ive had 2 fords. 2002 Explorer and 2013 Escape
My 2001 Eddie Bauer Ford expedition's screen doesn't have the "hire to change your key code on outside of door in the settings screen. I bought it from a private party and there was no card that went worn the keys. Where is the kick plate under the dash?
If you don't have the card with the original door code, you can take it to your local Ford Dealership, and the service department can pull the original door code number. Hope this helps!
what do you do if you don't have the original code?
I went to ford and they ran it with the scanner
This video is awesome, thanks Justin !

What if you bought a used Ford expedition and don't have the original code?
Passenger side kick plate under dash remove and is on sticker with other #'s look it up pretty simple
On my 2018 F150, the “Vehicle” icon is grayed-out and won’t let me select it. What the heck?
And in my case, I bought a used f150 Platinum and I don't know the code and I don't even have the card, just the key?

I get the edit door keypad code- I enter 5 digit factory code- enter - Nothing happens??
I have the factory code from the card and it says invalid when trying to change....
We would suggest taking it to your local Ford dealerships service department
