I am wondering about the new $250 intel Arc B580 12GB as Battlemage improves efficiency, transforming the vector engines from two slices into a single structure, supporting native SIMD16 instructions, and beefing up the capabilities of the Xe core’s ray tracing and XMX AI instructions to tick the boxes for rt gaming, video encoding and ai. One caveat is intels driver support is pretty weak and it might require your system supporting resizable bar. They did finally fix Arcs last generation for game drivers. The A770 16GB card is getting a price drop so that may also be attractive. Just hard to tell how well these cards will be utilized for AI support and if a higher class card will come later supporting more vram on a budget. 😅

For gaming and similar workloads ReBAR is definitely important with intel.
