One of the most tiresome things I've noticed when people discuss morality is their willingness to overlook necessity. The traditional idea of a vampire is that of a nocturnal predator, but the way Adam, Eve and Marlowe practice their diet of blood is the result of a conscious ethical decision based largely on necessity and survival over one of self-indulgence. Basically their perspective is that of a predator that must have blood, yet choose to cause the least amount of suffering possible; and therefore the line - "So fucking 15th century". They're past it. A majority of humans in modern society murder, maim and exploit animals needlessly for the sake of pleasure and habit without a second thought. Not even Ava's disregard was as baseless as that. Humans, that can choose little to no unnecessary violence, chooses all of the violence.. - Much like the how Zombies have no real needs, yet stand up like the numbskulls they are and choose mindless violence anyway. By the end of the movie Adam and Eve's necessity of survival skyrocket, and is therefore still in line with their overarching ethical standpoint.

Perfect explanation, I saw the opposite opinion expressed in the comments of other videos discussing the same movie and was looking for your point of view. ((:

Even the combination of the ideas in the title and depiction of vampires. The philosophy of evil and fear is probably only philosophy that is comparable to vampires. Even more because they are traditionally depicted as non-humans, evil predators... Definitely disaggree with this view, which has nothing to do with director nor the movie itself
