During Crispin's Elite Trail, If while making the Super Spicy Sandwich you leave the top half of your Baguette off of it, He'll comment: "I'm Surprised you didn't put bread on top, though. Is that a Paldean thing...?" Which is hilarious.
I died laughing when I saw that!
Another thing that directly says Lacey is Clay's daughter is the fact her partner is Excadrill and which gym leader uses Excadrill 🤔

Also her biome in the terrarium plays a section of the Driftveil City theme.
One thing I saw in a fanfic for how the TM's work: slotting the hole in the disk onto the button that pokes out of a pokeball, and it spins around while applying the information onto the pokemon inside the pokeball. No idea how accurate that fan idea is, but it was an interesting application idea.
Another point towards Lacy being Clay's daughter, the music in the coastal biome (where her E4 challenge is) incorporates a lot of the Driftveil them.
Nice to see someone else noticed.
Drifeveil is also a port city in B/W2
In the Ruby and Sapphire Manga, there's a flashback to Wallace becoming champion. The head of the Pokemon Association offers him the champion place and says that Sidney will be removed. Wallace asks to be a gym leader instead.
Interestingly enough, Ogerpon interaction also appears if you have Ogerpon in your party during Carmine battle.
There is also a unique dialogue with gym leaders when you summon them as coaches. When doing the quest to unlock Academy ace tournament, Geeta will ask what gym leader you liked the most. And when you interact with that leader in Blueberry Academy, they will talk about that (At least I'm certain for Iono)
Larry did it for me, so it’s probably safe to assume it does it for all of them.

Ogerpon also triggers a reaction from Keiran during the champion battle, and he gets VERY upset if you do. 😅

Given the hair color, I think Crispin may actually be related to Alder/Benga. You can also catch Magby in the Virbank Complex and Crispin's main is Magmortar.
Also, I think Amarys may be related to Ingo/Emmet. At first I assumed Lenora or Marshal for, well, obvious reasons. But skin color is the only similarity there. However, her hair is black and white (Ingo and Emmet both have white hair, the black could easily be from her mom or simply because she's younger), her stiff posture and stiffer personality are reminiscent of the twins, and most of all, she is constantly checking her pocket watch - a common trope with train conductors.
I headcanon Amarys as Lenora’s child as:
1) she has greenish-blue eyes similar to Lenora’s
2) Amarys seems to be a very studious person, which would make sense if Lenora’s her mom as she is a Museum director and her gym had a book puzzle
3) Amarys is from Castelia city, which is right by Nacrene city where Lenora is from
As for the hair color that is a wrench in my headcannon the only explaination I got is flimsy Lenora’s husband is of a different race and has black hair
My head canon of crispin is that he is a son of Chili’s (From the first Pokemon black and white) Because he has red hair, specializes in fire types and loves to cook
Also with the Bootstrap Paradox with the white book, it’s shown that the name Miraidon (and I imagine Koraidon) is one too. The professor you meet refers to it by its Paradox name (Iron Serpent in Miraidon’s case) and you give him the idea to call it Miraidon, so he can tell a young Arven, who can grow up and tell you.
But the professors say that they have been working with connection to other timelines, then you don't give the book to your own professor.

@@timwoods2852 Not really, hidden abilities patches are often busted, such as protean for greninja or meowscarada. Tera shards too can be useful for competitive. Herba mystica is only really good for Shiny Hunting. Shinies arent everything you know. There’s a lot more to the games.
@@Zobie2game As a noncompedative, shiny hunter, I only really have use for the HMs. I have enough ability capsules to get the Twilight form of Lychenrock.

Also, in every biome of the terrarium there is a little section of a song which is a city from bw and b2w2. The one in the coastal biome, the one lacey’s trial is in, is driftveil city
The crystals you mentioned when talking about Lacey and Clay are more likely to be chargestone crystals. The crystals in the museum are pentagonal, and have small offshoots near the bottom, whereas tera crystals are hexagonal, and their offshoots are more similar in size to the main crystal. Chargestone crystals however, are pentagonal, with offshoots similar to the crystal in the museum, in addition to having a more similar color.
Teras are more hexagonal, six-sided.
They were specifically called Chargestones somewhere If I recall correctly

When you speak to crispin after the DLC he says he’s been replaced, there’s also stuff that contradicts that though like him still being referred to as an elite four member in his rematch.

Regarding bonus dialog, I was getting the gym leaders for the traded pokemon and Larry mentioned that I had chosen him as my favorite during the Elite 4 quiz and had some remarks about it. It was pretty funny.
Floriography (language of flowers) is a means of cryptological communication through the use or arrangement of flowers. Meaning has been attributed to flowers for thousands of years, and some form of floriography has been practiced in traditional cultures throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa.
I wouldn’t say that TM discs have been totally absent since FRLG. Even in games where TMs don’t have art assets, the bag icon of the TM pouch is usually a disc of some sort.
Yeah. Plus, making a TM in SV literally has the items spinning on a disc.
The biome that Lacey is stationed at has a bit of driftveil in it's theme. It could be evidence that she Clay's daughter

On the Blue speculation:
We know from both Gen 5 and Gen 3 that the 8th Gym Leader is actually ranked "above" the Elite 4 in terms of succession. If the Champion resigns, it's to the 8th Gym leader first. However, Blueberry dosen't have Gym Leaders.
So when Blue lost and Viridian City Gym was vacant, he was clearly offered to become Champion-in-waiting and be the 8th Gym leader. Remember; we fought Lance as Champion of *Jhoto* [And he is even from Jhoto]. In fact, several of the Kanto Gym Leaders even look down on us because we won the *Jhoto* leauge. Red is still actually *Kanto* champion.
A little one (so sorry if this was in part one) there's a lion king reference in the savanna biome. There's a rock near Crispins arena that looks like pride rock and there is a pyroar and litleo sitting on top that won't battle you, but sadly don't have any special titles or anything.
Maybe we can get new form of the Loyal Three in the future without the chain. So their type and ability change

I just found this out but if you complete the dlc and unlock the flight ability you can fly to the top of the terrarium (where the globe is) and there's an ability patch, 50 stellar tera shards, and a gold bottle cap. I haven't found out if theses respond yet.
Quick note about Blue and the Kanto League. Lance says that he used to be the final challenge, but now they have a permanent Champion who needs to be beaten. There previously wasn’t a Champion trainer to fight; it was just the Elite Four.

if u use the synchro machine as terapagos and battle you transform into another form and you can even make a ball by holding the ZR
TOBY! I havent seen anyone else talk about this, but there is an NPC who confirms that we take the Subway to get to Blueberry Academy.
7:45 I stumbled upon that myself just today. There is also 50 stellar shards up there as well as some other items.
Another connection to Clay is that if you listen carefully to the Coastal Biome music, you'll hear the Driftveil City theme
Also, I kind of think Lacey looks a bit like Tulip. She has little wings on her sleeves though that can be explained by her fairy type Pokemon
5:07 I think it's important to pay attention to the wording here, the journal is saying that area zero underdepth caverns are 2 million years old, not the crater itself, imo this does not contradict the ultimate weapon theory, the weapon being fired at paldea could've created the crater and exposed those caves to the surface, making the crystals leak out and creating area zero itself.
Terapagos' Pokedex entry mentions it's population being affected by tectonic shifts, which to me implies that the species used to live in the surface but got buried by earthquakes and went dorment, crystalizing everything around it that also for buried (hence the crystal tree) underground, forming the cave system that was unburied by the weapon
TM discs are probably like movies you'd show to a Pokémon to get it to learn a move. Especially given they have specific intended learners in mind.
Lacey's section in the Terarium also has a part of Driftveil City's theme in the music
more stuff on plants, the Scarlet dex entry for oddish is really cool. They say it has a scientific name of "Oddium wanderus"
I'm curious why Briar has Playstation button designs on her board in her classroom, and, the Indigo Disk looks like the blue PS2 disks, and, the disk drive that opened up to isert the disk was xlearly a PS2 disk drive. Lastly, Jade Coccoon 2 is for the Ps2, which I believe has a lot of pokémon mchanics in it, which have been applied to SV and moreso, Indigo Disk!
Another link between Lacey and Clay is the beach area(where you challenge Lacey) has an homage to the Driftveil City theme
Yeah, the FRLG animation for teaching TMs was always a bit funny and concerning. The Pokemon would be on the evolution screen, get bonked on the head, the disk would then appear on their head, it would spin, and then you'd get the new move message (either forgot A and learned B or just learned B.)
The way the BB league discussed demotions in the Elite Four made me think about the change in the Elite Four roster between Gen 1 and Gen 2
Before Blue became champion, the Elite Four might have been Will, Lorelei, Bruno, and Agatha with Lance as the champion. Then Will got pushed out when Blue beat Lance. (Karen can replace Will in this hypothetical situation but I don't know what that could entail considering that Karen is a dark type specialist and we're talking about Gen 1.)
Then Red beat Blue. But Blue was reassigned to the Viridian City Gym instead of the Elite Four after Giovanni's disappearance.
Then Lorelei wanted to go home to Four Island. Agatha probably retired. Red also left to travel and eventually ended up in Mt. Silver. Lance becomes champion again.
With three vacancies, Will, Karen, and Koga became Elite Four members, and Janine took over the Fuchsia City Gym.
Do you have any thoughts on what the metal tablet in Area zero is? Or how about the large symbol in the cave where you can find roaring moon/iron valiant?
There’s really not any information to go off of for them but they are important somehow since they’re both on the games logo
I remember in the animated series a TM was used and it worked kind of like a mind wiping device/ listening to a vinyl record or CD. They put the headphones over the Mon and it just gets filled with the knowledge of the move via some headphine contraption.
I have a theory that Lacey's name is a reference to lace agate which is a type of gemstone. This also ties into Clay as Clay mines gemstones.
I think the students are relations of twp gym leaders. For example Lacey has dyed hair (black eyebrows) and fights with Plusle / Minum in the first battle and theres a description of her on the map saying she's from Nimbasa, not Driftveil, which is where Elesa is from

Just had a thought, there are gems in the tera orbs shaped like terapagos in it's dormant shape, could each tera orb house a dormant, or more likely deceased, terapagos? Whether it's true or not, that's my knew head canon.

I asked the question about the demoted elite four member of the Indigo Plateau a few weeks ago on the Goldenrod Podcast with Captain Fidget but it never got answered.
I think it was Sabrina, hence why she takes over Safron's gym and the fighting gym is reduced to being a dojo.
Carmine actually hints at gow TM's work when she comments on how the panel's AI voice sounds similar to a TM. This implies that trainers have a device on them that they insert the disks into for pokemon to learn, which might relay information about the TM and guide the trainer of the pokemon through the process of learning the move. This might also be a reference to the earliest concept of a TM.
I always kinda assumed that the elite 4 was a ranking system in itself like the first member may not be the weakest but their win/lose record is the worst and theyre replaced, ive based this on the fact the loreilia from red and blue isnt a.member anymore in gold and silver and its been explained that agatha simply decided to retire, so whered lorelia go?

Perhaps the Champion/E4 ranking thing it's exclusive to the academy.
If we go back to the Unova games (the region where the Blueberry Academy is located) if you choose Grimsley as your last E4 in BW, after you defeat him he tells you he doesn't know who you're gonna face next, whether be Alder or N;
Given how N defeated Alder and became champion in the games' story, this would make Alder one of the members of the E4 based on the Blueberry Academy rules, thus taking the role of one of the E4 members; but this is clearly not the case.
The same way should've happened by the events of B2W2: Iris being the champion, Alder an E4, and one of the E4 members would get "fired". Again, this is not the case.
But who knows?
I'd def chalk it up to being a different system than an official pokemon league and them being kids who made it as apart of their club, but just took inspiration from the elite four.

My thoughts regarding Kanto and the champion is the Elite 4 was always set up to be 4 and they didn’t factor a champion into it with the idea being these are the 4 strongest trainers in kanto if you can defeat them you get the title but i don’t think anyone would had done it before blue. Then by gen 2 there is some corporate reshuffling

Anyone else notice the location of charge stone cave and other locations what if unova was apart of a natural or unnatural disaster caused by the crashing of the meteor/bomb that created the crater of paldea and the terrarium was built prior to the flooding of unova

there is a closed off hidden room/section in the underground of area zero, in the story u have to defeat stella tera pokemon to unlock the pathway, but for this one there isnt one. i have searched and havent been unable to find another stella tera type pokemon. should u find a way to open it plz do make a vid or link the vid to this comment. the location of the pathway is above the huge tera crystal which is on the left side the second or third crystal door ( the section where u have to fight ur version's paradox mon) which was opened during the story.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, you need to open the path into the next room. Go down the ramp a little bit, then turn back towards the entrance. You should see some tera crystals around a small cliff edge not too far away from where you came in. Climb up to it with Koraidon/Miraidon, and you'll find a little tunnel that leads to a Stellar Garchomp. Beating it clears that crystal.

another fun fact, theres a plateau in the canyon biome, pretty much directly southeast of the canyon plaza, which is basically a 1:1 recreation of the nature preserve from gen 5, complete with a static tera haxorus in the same spot as in the og (this one isnt shiny tho 😢)

@@k2basior well then your phrasing is wrong, what you mean is "before he got into the Top 5" - he HAD to be in the Elite Four before battling and defeating Drayton.
As for whether or not he was in the Top 5 during Teal Mask - I'm pretty sure the characters mention that he was very strong even before the trip to Kitakami, but I might be wrong .
The way I see it with the TM’s is that they’re like dvds or cd’s for the Pokémon to watch/listen to, for them to learn the moves 🤣
The event of the professor looks more like alternate timline shenanningans than a paradox: what the professor says does not correspond to our timeline as by their journals they already had build the time machine and brought the frst koraidon while they discover they were expecting Arven but these professors say they already have a son. Plus they gave us the book we use to stop the time machine. Maybe the entry in this timeline about "us" giving them the white book is "us" from another timeline as well.

I'm honestly surprised by how simply they explained Paradox Pokémon, they're called "paradox" because of the nature of their discovery. They were never meant to be found and the rules of logic, time and space were broken so they could.

The one to the side above the huge crystal pillar? Go to the next room and look for a tunnel on the other side before going down the spiral path. Climb through and up in that section and you'll find a Stellar Garchomp that opens the path. Lots of goodies inside
