Camera quality is so good. For those who's been wanting to experience Mavic 3 quality and performance, the Mavic 3 classic is such a good cheaper alternative. So much features to explore.
With the variable aperture between f/2.8 to f/11, it is a necessity to have multiple NDs like ND4, ND32 and ND64. I have those 3 NDs for my Air 2S since its aperture is fixed at f/2.8 . Hope you can shed some light. Thx
Hi Henrik, great review of the DJI Mavic 3 Classic. I subscribed to your channel and will be watching for more videos about this great drone as I want to fly it too.
I’d like to try the camera propeller cover on my Mavic 3 standard, looks like DJI improved it over the older style…I feel if I was to replace my m3 I would opt. For the new classic over the zoom model anyway great video I think we can expect more firmware updates over the next year now that DJI has finally introduced all the different variants of the M3
I picked up my Mavic 3 Classic on Monday and so, as you know there are lot to talk and ask about. I have held back because as I am only on Video 2 of 6, I know some of my questions will be covered. More power to your elbow, that means " keep strong".
Could the "Subject lost" error have been as a result of the limit on the active tracking distance? I think you mentioned in another one of your videos about this drone that it is limited to some 50 meters?
I don't find it surprising that DJI didn't release this drone at the same time of the origina Mavic 3's introduction. IMO the Mavic 3 Classic would have cut into the sales of the margin-loaded standard Mavic 3 where an ala carte version was not made available and the only choice of controller was the same "brick" (RCN1) issued with the Mini 2 or a huge cost jump to the RC Pro. With the Classic you can use an RCN1 or DJI RC, available with a Mini 3 or ala carte. Considering the time frame of the M3 Classic's release, DJI knew that it would be big seller after a large number of people bit the bullet for the original Mavic 3. With the same flight time as the original M3, if you already have a controller all you need is the drone and perhaps an extra battery which can possibly get you a useable M3 kit and save $1000, more or less, sacrificing very little.
Thank you for your videos, my friend. Some time ago, I saw your video "Best DJI Air 2S Gimbal Settings" and since then, my Air 2S It's a beast! You should definitely do the same video for this amazing drone. Greetings from Santa Cruz, Bolivia!
Nice Drone but as soon as you use digital the picture looks poor, tried it on the Mavic 3 with the twin cameras, but at least with that one you can get decent enough at 7x with the top camera, pity they did not put decent 20x oprical on them as standard for 5k, still at that price when drone costs less than a lens for some cameras I guess perhaps I expect to much.
This will make updating the Air 2S interesting. Historically the Air series gets the outdated Mavic flagship tech in trickledown fashion. If they swap the one inch sensor of the Air to a Micro4/3 with no aperture and for $1000. Geez no brainer use ND filters and you are golden.
C1 label regulations will not allow to active track a subject further than 50 meters away. So that's why you couldn't follow the ship. 😉 Thanks for the review ☺️
@@vanvugtdronecinematography7769 I am pretty sure your TV does support true vertical. You just have to mount it vertically on the wall. Many people watch content on their phones and vertical shooting is better suiting to that. I don't love it either but thats the bitter fact. Most jobs right now require content that is vertical.

Excellent video. As a matter of interest, did you change the Gain/Expo settings or did you leave the factory settings? Thanks
Hi, at minute 17:38 what hotel name is it? Nice Video. I have the MAvic 3 Normal. Please can you test maximum charging speed Watts inside the drone?
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Mavic 3 Classic. Sounds like the perfect upgrade from the Mavic 2 Pro.
Very nice..
Is there any more differens between the "Bigger" models and the Classic of the Mavic 3 except the camera missing one lens..?
no, telephoto lens and for cine the 1Tb SSD
It looks like my bank account is going to lose $2000 very soon… Thanks for the review.
Yep. Mine did yesterday😐
Big facts. Mines just lost $700 on the Mini 2 today.

In most situations, you don’t need to switch the filter you can just adjust the aperture

How do you access maps and 'find my drone' with the RC controller?
same way as on your smart phone

It's not the drone you want.
It's the drone you NEED!
At least I'm convinced now 😊
Cruise control sounds good for smoother shots, great review
it's awesome
how much noise does the mavic 3 classic compared to the mini 3 pro ?

Very good review👍👍
So I have the mini 3 pro. And Seing that. I can buy just the drone and sync it to the Same controller I’m in on it.
Thanks for the well done review.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks again Henrik, nice video! On friday I get my Mavic 3 Classic, I'm so excited
Congrats you will love it
Good first look video
What other control do you have over the drone during cruise control? Height etc
You can basically control everything, but when you let go of the sticks it will revert back to the stik input you locked
Great review
Can Mavic 3 classic night mode take star light or th Galaxy either in video or hyperlapse? That will be an interesting video to see.
I don't know what you are asking?
I mean, with Mavic 3 classic night mode, can it be used to shoot stars with ISO so high?
Just wondering if it can be used on the top of mountain to shoot the sky full of stars at night.
Is it quieter than the Air 2S? Thanks 🙏🏻
I Can't compare

Does it support Remote ID for US FAA Compliance?
Yes
There were parts of this video that are not in focus. I have noticed this on other reviews by other people. Does this have tap to focus?
I did not notice, can you help me with a timestamp
Are you able to select the auxillery light? because I can't anymore and I find it very annoying is it the same for you?
I would have to check
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Thanks will you let me know?
It is in the manual. Have you read the manual before flight?
@@TheRealJimmyLundy Hmmm can you explain?
Can you show us an example of how close to uninvolved people you can legally fly with the c1 label?

In the end, which is better drone? Mavic 3 or mavic 3 classic? If someone has the money to buy the mavic 3, does he buy it or is it a waste of money?
Nice Drone! but i'm waiting for the one with thermal view.
Amazing test and place!
it is

Tusen takk for nydelig video. Da vet jeg hvilken ny drone jeg skal kjøpe . Best regads Geir
Fed film det kun være interesseert at se forskel på den og Autel Evo 2 PRO i form af fotos og film vis du sku have dem begge to
Feels like a splurge getting the Mavic 3 Classic but you’re actually spending less for a top quality drone.

Denmark and you
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA ah from Germany :)
Is this footage on auto, ungraded?
yes, and no .. the standard is untouched, but dlog has been applied with a LUT, and HLG with the HDR settings in Final Cut
Good drone but i am glad that i bought the Mavic 3 with telecamera. That telecamera provided me a lot of money
I saw another UA-cam, that said the update makes your drone c1 certified. Dont know if that's true, but if so it makes a huge difference
software update that is
How so Chris? If u don’t mind me asking.
@@Mintyseden it does. DJI already anounced in August that M3 will be C1 certified with only a firmware update.

Amazing camera. It is so expensive unfortunately I will never own one. My dream drone is the mini2.
it's properly the best value for money, I still have my Mini 2
so,,,how much it gonna cost? any pricerange,,,, I don't know how much pro 2 is dude!
DJI Mavic 3 Classic (Drone Only) EUR: 1549
DJI Mavic 3 Classic (RC- N1) EUR: 1649
DJI Mavic 3 Classic (DJI RC) EUR: 1809
DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Kit. EUR: 619
The Fly More Combo kit is $650 US. That is a lot of money. That makes this drone less desirable.

Definitely will never need that.
