Linda, your videos are therapeutic, and literally a breath of fresh air in these turbulent times. What a collection of Scotland's many fantastic views, all served up with your eternal smiles.
My evening is complete with your fine, well composed, and balanced presentation of hills and forests less trodden. You're certainly honing your skills, merging in the drone imagery. Brora never missing a trick when a tasty treat is to be claimed!!
@@mikemccormac9368 Thank you Mike. I recently decided to make more of an effort to fly the drone. I’ve had it 2 years & barely used it. Brora’s always looking for treats. 🐶
I used to meet a dog called Wolfie who lived in one of the two small cottages just before you turn off the track and go uphill. He just appeared one day and was my companion all the way to the top and then back to the car, where he turned tail and went home. He did this for another four of my visits and surprised my companions when I told them they would probably meet a dog. He didn't disappoint and appeared almost out of the blue the minute we left the car. He would come up the hill, eat everyone's lunch and escort us back down. I heard stories of him spending the night in the Dunoon Police station when a walker thought he was a stray and needed rescuing. The walker was Emma Thompson apparently, who has a house near Benmore Gardens and whose parents had a house in Ardentinny. So the story goes. The last time I was on the hill Wolfie didn't appear. That was a while ago and then I realised he was no longer with us. He was a lovely mongrel with hair the same colour as Brora but turning grey down his back. He was great company and another reason this hill is one of my favourites.
@@alancumming6407 Aww, that’s such a lovely story. I would have assumed he was lost too. Bet he knew the route better than any of the walkers. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Well filmed Linda. One of my favourite hills over the years and I've never met anyone on it. Another and more adventurous route is walking along the western shore of Loch Eck and cutting up Bernice Glen. The hill has a different feel to it going that way.
Another great video Linda..😁👌🏻I’ve looking to do a camp on that mountain for ages..Watching your video I think it could be doable on the Ebike..The last tree section looks a bit dodgy for the bike.( possibly a bit of pushing 🤣)Not sure if the walkhighlands route after the tree line is less boggy than the route you took. The views look incredible..There looks as if there’s plenty of camp spots, similar to Ben Donich.Enjoyed that Linda😁👍 Cheers Robert
@@murchiesmountains2820 Thanks Robert. You could take the bike a bit of the way up the track in the forest but there’s some steep sections & a couple of trees down across the path further up. A nice walk through the forest. Definitely plenty of places to pitch up on the summit. 👍

@@alancumming6407 thanks Alan, sounds an interesting route. I met 2 people in the forest on their way down but basically had the hill to myself. 👍
