Thank you so much for making videos! You sir do not waste my time at all. I think it is better that you actually show and explain how things are done in real life instead of speeding up the video and or skipping over a bunch of things. Doing it that way gives me an opportunity to take notes and for the information to actually sink into my "head" (knowledge leaks can lead to all kinds of engine problems). So once again thank you!
Looking at the right head, I would not hold out much hope of the left head gasket lasting too much longer, best bet is to do the left head gasket as well but that's up to the truck owner. As always brilliant work, looking forward to more of your great videos. Thank you sir_!
I pulled my 4Runner heads (same engine) a year ago to have a valve job done. Everything I've read and heard says not to reuse the head bolts. I think I heard you say it was for inspection, but you do install new bolts, right? Great video, BTW.
I want to know why the exhaust valves on 1 and 5 look nothing alike? Obviously 3 is sparkling fro coolant. Is the coolant in #5 just from when you broke the head loose? #5 looks much different than #1. Why?
After all that work to remove it. it would be a shame if those don't get done... Just as a side note, I wonder how much this customer is paying for this job? Hind sight, would have been cheaper to drop another JDM engine in the truck at this point but great video nonetheless!
@@L35inColorado their already at least 1k in labor so far...reworking a head is cheap compared to labor...no one is putting a crap head back on without reworking it...be real
Hmmm....I don't like the 2 valves different color, 1 cyl perfectly clean, I want to see the gasket in the air to see glue and if the metal is Intact...then look at block face ...

Thank you so much! Being a small woman, I believe I will be dancing when I am having trouble with removing bolts!

Nice video -- are you going to reseat the valves, replace the valve seals, etc, while you have the head off? Or maybe the customer said no?

Of course. That MUST be done.
@@1420MHZ I agree, but if the customer says "no", then what can you do? Hopefully the customer will say "yes."
