- Kirk Cousins was signed by the Atlanta Falcons this offseason, who also drafted Michael Penix Jr. with the 8th overall pick. He was asked if he would’ve signed with the Falcons if he knew they were going to draft a QB but only said “I don’t deal in hypotheticals”. Craig Carton thinks the Cousins era in Atlanta is off to a bad start, and that there will be some drama for the Dallas Cowboys regarding Ceedee Lamb. Plus, he talks about the Washington Commanders and if they’ll be an improved squad with Jayden Daniels.

Washington fans have been saying how great their team is going to be "this year" every march-august of the past 20 yrs. Eventually they might be correct. But it will never make up for the 20 straight times they looked like idiots.
@@SillyGoose2024 problem with that logic was those 20 years had a terrible owner paired with his terrible GMs/coaching staff. Those days are over. Adults are in the room. Real coaching, an actual QB(it appears), and everything has been nothing but trending up. Now the level of how good we are is debatable but it's definitely going to be an improvement and a start in the right direction. That's all we can ask for. While it's not fair to compare the past I get it, prove us wrong. Me included. But man if this doesn't feel and look different
People are used to the last decades of dan Snyder, but that's over and josh just cleaned house and went as far as hiring basketball coaches to get this team right. Not to mention he is friends with Joe Gibbs. They will command the NFC East soon
