Gonna give this a crack. Made the beef, chicken and coco bread in one day, everyone loved it and I am not a pastry baker at all. Could have literally had the pot of beef and chicken filling on its own, it was so tasty. Thanks, once you bake something you start baking other things, made a few pizzas everyone loves since too. Here is an idea for you BBQ Jerk chicken Pizza... with the base made with a bit of coconut milk?☺
You are doing God's work with your page!!! Thank you for everything you're teaching us; my goal is for my daughter to be able to make authentic (as possible) Jamaican recipes when she's learning to cook and your patty techniques were a game changer for me! You're preserving the recipes and techniques and teachings of our ancestors so well.
My Friend, I’m having a BLAST making veggie hero sandwiches with you recipe! I just don’t have the TIME to make the patty casing, so I DUPLICATE your recipe, DROP IT into A LOAF of bread, add tomatoes, cheese as sprinkle a few condiments and I Have a breathtakingly SANDWICH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Stay blessed, my brother. Rob-
I love your videos and explanations. I’m a professional chef and you are such a talented professional. I’m so impressed at every video and learn so much. Thank you😊
The first video you did using SUET and the second video using butter, made the dough look very moist and flaky but this margarine version looks very dry and hard. I like how you edit by speeding things up while other chefs take over an hour
it's not so much the type of fat...this dough had a much lower hydration than the others. Each one still had a 'melt in your mouth' quality despite how they look
I'll use a bread dough, so mine will be veggie loaf. Love your filling and also your instructions are so easy to follow. Best of all you used no contraband. Big up!!!!❤
You could add some coconut milk to the kidney beans and pumpkin mixture for the veggie patties but my favourite is the Flaky and Juicy patties.I was thought the Rolling and Folding method when I went to Baking School.
Yooo this is masterful- I wish you could come to Philly I have patty business here- Juniors Patties- I’ve used some of your tips- you’re definitely an old tyme patty maker
I use shortening instead of the margarine but the same principle of layering- my uncle just used the suet and folded twice and always got a good flake - as you say it’s more forgiving
Baking from frozen takes around 30 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This time might be different depending on the size of the patty but let them bake until golden and flaky. Make a slit to check if the filling is hot and ready if your not sure
This is not a Ital patty. It is definitely a veggie patties but not vegan patties. You made a mistake when you add too much water to the pot. The water from the blender was enough for the pot. I still love your videos.
Well that can't be 100% vegan patties if you don't use plant base margarine, almond butter, avocado butter or vegetable butter. No substitute. You said it

Veggie patties looks absolutely scrumptious 😋 😍. Thanks again for another great tutorial. Blessings and more blessings. One love 💙 ❤️ 🇯🇲 💯
Nice
I'll need to modify it (no salt and something besides margarine), but this inspired me. 🙏
I know what I'm doing this weekend!!!
That is it...👌🏾💯
Your patties never disappoint❤... your gonna have to do patties with every filling possible 😅

Sure👌🏾. It's a bit more tedious so this was for persons who wanted an easier way. I have a number of videos where I laminate the dough

Send me a DM on IG... I'm curious about about your patty shop!

If I wanted to save the Pattie’s by freezing for later consumption, how long to bake them when ready and at what temperature?

I want it......
Do you have a problem with them popping open in the oven?
nope...they only leak when I have a poor seal
