That bass is so sick looking.
I agree, I need a left handed version.
What bass it that?
Jesse Black it’s an Ibanez afr
@@RavenSungOfficial He's not with Kiesel anymore?
@@themodernguitarist he can use more then 1 brand my man
Vocalist: AAAAAAAAAA
Guitarist: AAAAAAAAAA
Drummer aaaaaaaaaaa
Bassist: *soft clicking*
Sexy soft clicking
Actually 😂💀
How does so little playing make for so much BASS? This guy is a fkin god.
Another reason as to why I love tesseract
Flawless Technique
@@Jonnyvpa Yep. Let the tools do the work, let the instrument and the audio chain you have crafted present themselves while you explore your own inner glory and make heroic attempts to communicate them to the masses - work for it, so you don't; always practice IN form.
its mixing and mastering
Well his measured playing that fits the song is one of the things that makes him so good.
Amos, as a drummer - you are one of the greatest Bassists of all time. So jealous of Jay. The two of your are a foundation to be reckoned with. Keep on keeping it real. Superb musicianship.
What I love about Amos' playing is that he knows when to be restrained and when to go wild and elaborate. And he always plays with feeling. Much respect to an exceptional player. 👌
He's the most calm and poised bass player I've ever seen, and he plays so elegantly. I declare thee bass royalty!
At long last, a challenger to Nolly's playthrough of prayer position.
Not even close to that....the mix is poor for the bass.
MORE BASS PLEASE!
Not even close
This is real bass playing
I'm pretty sure this is close to Tesseract's masterpiece. The whole live set was massive but Juno was another level entirely.
Yeee
Always love hearing Amos bass
3:40 the vocalist says "as I rise above the deep" and Amos just went 12th fret. As if he rose above the deep. I'm mindblown.
Amazing how this bassline is played. Melody, technique and pure art. Hoping to see you guys soon here in Brazil.
soon ... ? ;-)
@@icelinx Well, any possibility would be highly appreciated haha
next year announced!
@@bassandfuzz Yeah! Buying tickets soon!
Come to brazil
Bass needs to be up like 5 more dB in the mix ;-;
I swear I saw Amos somewhere in the movies acting as a villain mastermind
Was thinking that he looks like Green Goblin from that first Sam Raimi Spider-Man
@@lukenolin1105 willem defoe? I can kinda see it but there's someone so specific that's identical that I can picture but cannot put my finger on 😭
@@Indi like Willam Defoe and Kevin Bacon had a kid lol.
INDI Haha, should comment it if you figure it out, got me curious now. Willem Defoe’s all I got though.
perhaps looks like Matt Mercer (Critical Role, DM) from Mythica, where he played the necromancer. Or Kevin Sorbo, who also was starring in that film. :)
Absolutely one of the most talented and flat out cool...and super creative bass players on the planet!!!
Amos like I told you in person, and you were so modest, but it's true....you are going to go down as one of the best bassists in rock and roll/metal history. 🤘 killer
It’s either him or Justin Chancellor at this point.
Wish the bass was louder in this video
You tried with headphones? Sounds amazing
True, only drums and guitar here.
@@Guitarista78 What are you listening on? The bass is SUPER loud on my monitors
@@BlakeMullens AKG K701's
@@BlakeMullens i think i'm not getting the clean tones is my problem..
4:35 so smooth!
btw you can see the cut there, right after that "smooth" moment the angle changes and left hand is in the different position
@@yefremjr yes, he probably doesn't have 4 synchronous cameras in the room.
Amos is one of most influence for me , i just love his bass style , greetings from Brazil !
I literally hear the differences between these live streams, live performances, and the released albums, and that's awesome! Awesome to hear musicians playing that can seriously keep producing their high quality music again, and again, and again. Keep up the great work! I will be following.
Am a college music major, by the way.
The tone on the bass is fucking perfect! Cuts through the mix enough to be present but still thick enough to carry. Especially the bright crisp tone slapping that open A, Ughghhhh I fucking love it!
Amos is by far my favorite modern Bassist!!! Got to have a nice conversation with him also... Just a straight up down to earth gentlemen!! Thanks for this Amos!!
I've never been a huge fan of your rom-coms, but your music...
I have so much respect for Amos and the whole band, this playthrough is immaculate.
Never get tired of looking at those heavy strings vibrate.
I'll never get tired to watch Amos making love with his bass
Favourite song by TesseracT. Sonder is such an amazing album.
x2
Guys absolutely one of a kind sound is very Original many influences I gotta believe
The Djentlemen
But.... But.... bUt CaN He DjEnT?!
Ha ha very clever sir
Killed it in Toronto 2023. Thank you
I swear I can watch Amos's hands all damn day. The lockdown sucked, but atleast we got this great video.
Because of this video, I'm now getting an AFR. Such a cool bass.
Amazing, Amos. Thanks for that, you guys have no idea on how much you're helping me right now :-)
Simply brilliant. Like crystal tears.
I sure love Amos playing Tesseract vids. It's like free bass lessons!!
Amos all time favorite baddest bass player. I almost broke my thumb clicking on this newly posted video.
that intro gives you the same feeling as eating from the icecream tub. all powerful.
Yaaaaassss. I love Juno so much 😭
It needs to be at least ten minutes longer tho.
@@RFSA180 I would have no problem with that
Absolutely flawless. Amos you are amazing!
Really wish the other instruments and vocals were much quieter. I want to hear mainly the bass and a whisper of the rest.
Well that's not how music works unfortunately.
@@Pughhead that's how volume works, though.
@@PainofRazeration Um ok... must be new to recording/mixing...
Yes!
@@Pughhead well thats kind of how a playhrough is supposed to be. The instrument/player that the playthrough is focused on is supposed to be audible and significantly louder than in the original mix, especially when its a bass playthrough.
Lord Amos on the bass.
Insane. So incredible song. Such incredible performances. TesseracT are just a next level gen. musicians.
Dear lord Amos is the real deal, his playing skills are next level
All is perfect on this song!!!solid and loud Bass Linea ,guitar cleans ,The drives on Guitars, vocal Textures and Lines!!! Congratullations !!!!! Top 5 my prog banda, cheers from Brasil!
Best bassist I've ever seen. Really enjoy Amos' mood 😍
This is not the bass playing we deserve, but it is the bass playing we need
Great tones! The overdriven one, ufff so good in context.
Holy shit you guys seriously sounded better in this live show then the actual album! You guys ever think about going the Meshuggah route and try reordering whole songs live for the next album? This just sounds so damn good. Not only the mix but Dans vocal performance is out of this world here!
Simply beautiful
That is the most beautiful bass I have ever seen, I am beyond jealous.
YES! I love me some bass
I clicked so fast!!
bruh
The groove of Amos is mesmerising...
Such a dope playthrough.
Didn't realize the bass was Ibanez! Looks so exotic but classy as hell! Literally made for this guy
Absolutely beautiful
What great skill. His fretting hand is extremely efficient with that reach.
massive fingspan
Pure pleasure to watch and hear this :o
Amazing
I’m pretty sure this is an ASMR video
The mix is life.
Idk what’s better, his video making skills or his bass skills
Everyone in this band is so damn handsome~
I don’t know why but for sure « sexy » is the first word to come in mind listening/watching this !
I adore this music.
Love that dope black bass
Best bass player in the world...🙌🙌🙌love u 🙌
I'm having a spiritual experience while watching him having a spiritual experience while playing while this bass is having a spiritual experience
Nice
Reading your words was a spiritual experience
Awesome 👋
So Beautiful, love this band so much ❤
А я болдею от ударных , очень приятно играет , и техника не лишена граций. Благодарю. Вся группа просто классс.
Nice playing gentlemen style
OMFG I really love this bass guitar.
Just ordered an AFR4 a couple of minutes ago. I'll be watching this video a lot over the next week as I wait for it to arrive.
I think Amos just sampled his own voice to use as a bass tone, and it's fucking awesome.
He has a nice initiative.Amazing video.
I NEED a drum cut, TesseracT PLEASE!
THUNDER BASS!!! Thank you Amos!! Much respect.
So unusual to see him play Ibanez, but can't complain. That's one super sexy bass.
freaking awesome
I just got parallax so I’m glad to see it being used by Demi gods as well. Gives me some hope
Amazing video. Killer tone as always. Thanks for sharing this with us Amos
Killer riff
Cool stealth look!
Thank you so much for this I’ve been searching for a good source to learn this song and it’s finally here

This is so good! damn

I feel like I have just come out from under a rock, but damn I love your music. Will definitely be on my playlists now
Amazing!
Nice job, beautiful instrument! Keep it up!
Amazing! Top playing
Chris Squire is my all time hero - but the bass playing (and detail) here is so atmospheric and detailed. Tesseract were definitely my find in the Lockdown!
