yeah... but why were they chained? Im not sure you should ever chain owls, that got me a bit suspicious about what was really going on there. Where they conditioned to make those movement when he put the phone to them and now he puts them on display as sort of owl circus? Or did they actually dance to the music because they felt like it? Because you can see "dancing" bears performing too, also chained... they aren't dancing they have just been conditioned for certain behaviou/movements through training in captivity (and often live miserable lives not being stimulated like they should). Idk enough about owl caretaking to know whether this is ok or not though.
@@CrazyGaming-ig6qq Yeah, that had me concerned, too. I'm guessing it's an owl cafe, owls are rarely used in falconry and they don't look like normal falconry tresses.
OH, this is the cutest!! I just published a kid's book about a little owl and a client sent this to me. I adore them! thank you!!! I may have to send readers to your video :) SO sweet!
I'm told that owls do those things with their head because their eyes cannot move(read: in a fixed position) so they use their awesome neck joints to do so!
The bobbing helps them with depth perception because their ears are asymmetrical, but yeah they can't move their eyes in their sockets so they got bendy necks.
haha the head bobbing is due to the fact the ears are not like ours, but one is higher than the other! They bob up and down or circle around to zone in effectively on prey. Their face feathers act like a large dish helping them be the most effective cute little killers that can zone in to the mila second... BEAUTIFUL animals with amazing engineering!!!
I love my little weirdo screech owl who chills in the cut with my chickens at night and keeps the mice problem at bay in there. He let me pet him once NOT because he was frozen scared, I researched it to make sure he wasn't in a terrified stance. He was just not worried about me enough to leave his comfy spot on the roost. Probably had a full belly from the mice he terrorizes in there. It's such a treasure to be able to see an owl up close semi regularly. The best part is how owls have so little fear of people, it's so unusual to see a bird behave like that.

I have never seen an Albino owl before. Couldn't even tell which breed it was. Eerily beautiful.
Zero_BS_Tolerance It really is magnificent
Scops owl, but which one that's gonna be a bit hard.

I don't blame the owls for dancing to that song, I love it too!
I think the owl just became my favorite bird lol
Lol you're late to the party of course they're the best bird. They're ridiculous
Owls are jewels of
NATURE.👍❤️⭐🥰
That first owl was a victim of a poop and run. Loved them all!
Those dancing owls at the end were awesome!

@@CrazyGaming-ig6qq they’re in an out door area and could easily fly off if they see a reason to do so. They’re living in a sanctuary/zoo.
@@LunaP1 How do you know this? And how would they fly off if they are chained?
Yep, if they could talk like parrots, we'd all die laughing
They are adorable as can be
Sharmishtha Basu I agree with you so much! Thanks a lot for watching 😍

The running owl!!! 🦉 😆😆 @1:48

LOL, this is the funniest Owl film I've seen yet 😳
THE FEATHERS ON THE HEAD HELP.
Love the hat.
I'm told that owls do those things with their head because their eyes cannot move(read: in a fixed position) so they use their awesome neck joints to do so!
Samuel Hunt Well, that does explain a lot😀
Can confirm that is true
The bobbing helps them with depth perception because their ears are asymmetrical, but yeah they can't move their eyes in their sockets so they got bendy necks.
mhmm, that is true also, gives them a "3D image" of the layout enabling them to checkout both ground and air targets. quite useful actually!
Yup. That's how they triangulate the distance of whatever they're trying to look at.
Owls r trippy 🦉😂🦉🦉🦉😍🦉🦉💜🦉👀🦉👀🦉💜🔥🦉🔥🙏🦉🙏🙏🦉🦉🦉
I'm not going to lie. The way owls move their heads freaks me out. We have a huge barred owl that lives in the neighborhood and it scares me lol.
Oh yeah)) I think those head movements are part of their charm;)
Owls move their head because they can't move their eyes. :)
owl are flying cats they re cute not scary :3
Well if you are frightened of a bird that eats plenty of rats, then just imagine how the rats must feel?
haha the head bobbing is due to the fact the ears are not like ours, but one is higher than the other! They bob up and down or circle around to zone in effectively on prey.
