I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has hair in their crochet...I always tell my daughter if she ever needs any of my DNA for any reason just look in something I crocheted......there is sure to be plenty of my hair woven in it.
I've only done one project using cables. I made your men's pullover sweater, used dk weight yarn, and it was prefect size for a woman's small. But I thought I was doing something wrong because of those gaps. Because of that, I haven't done any more cable projects. This technique is the perfect solution!! Now I won't be afraid to do cables!! Thank you!
Thank you Crystal this video is very helpful. I love the cables as well but don’t like the gaps so I appreciate this video showing how to avoid that. 👍🏽👍🏽
Well I quit crochet on the spot 1 1/2 years ago because my granddaughter lost her baby at birth. He was who I was mainly doing all for. But now I guess I am sort of over the main pain and will start making things for others again. I used to watch almost all your videos but just shut them all out. Back to watching again because I love what you teach.
Thank you, Crystal. I wanted to do a cross cable cardigan, but I didn't want the holes so I have been putting it off. I can now make my cross cable cardigan.
Absolutely brilliant! There are times where the holes are desireable, but there are definitely times when they are not. This is such a simple way to resolve the hole issue that I can't believe I never thought of it, LOL! It's always exciting when you've been crocheting for almost 50 years to learn something new. This is why I love your channel! Thank you! 💜
Wow what a simple technique. I love cables too but the gap does bug me. Thank you for this tip. You explained it very well. Now onto the next video I saw that pop flower granny square looked supper cool
I learned to do that from a friend. But I actually prefer the holes in the stitch. Crystal you have the ability to make everything simple. A gift that not many have.
Hi Crystal. I love this. I will have to remember this for my next cable cardigan from your patterns. Just have to wait for it to cool down here in New Mexico. Thank you so much for this "cheat" Lol
This is sooo helpful Crystal, there's nothing as bad when your crocheting and you look back & you have gaps in your work, the cable actually stands out more when there's no gaps, thank you This is really helpful ❤❤❤❤❤❤
