I found that going through diffrent channels and trying other channels besides 16 produced more suitable results for me. I'm sure it varies per user. Thanks for the tremendous help sir!

Wow, I've followed these steps and will start tweaking soon, but by god, those loot boxes can be heard from 50 feet away. At the beginning of a match, with fully unlooted areas it will be tedious to snuff them out. Thanks for all the work, by the way.
Quick hint, if you set your master volume to 100% and the audio mix in home theater you get kind of a better sound of the game but also the home theater takes the volume down quite a bit so you don’t have to touch your master volume. You are a life saver man. @ArtIsWar
It’s just so insane how many hoops you have to jump through to optimize MW2 on PC. It’s been a nightmare since launch and wish I just stayed on console tbh. Thanks for all the help though dawg 🙏🏻
yesterday i stayed until 4 am following your first audio guide from 1 month ago. always hearing crackling until found the correct way to fix it, was horrible but it was worth it. ty for the update

well so after doing some research i just discorver that this has no fix. our pc's has components that uses electricity and creates EMF's or Electro Magnetic Fields and our earphones can recieve those tiny fields of EMF's unless they have their own shielding

A little note for people using this setup with an Elgato Wave 3 Microphone - the Configurator you should set to whatever channel your game is set to... Eg: Game, Browser, Aux etc.
Also Loudness EQ is available on all of those playback devices and you need to set it per which playback channel you are utilizing.

I usually suck at cod, but I decided to try this. I dropped into my first Resurgence Solos in a while and dropped 24 kills. Too bad I got second from positioning. I can definitely hear footsteps better now compared to your previous Audio Video but it’s all a bit too much for lack of a better word. Especially chest volume, the constant humming in the background if there are any nearby is quite distracting for me personally. Will try it for a couple days and see if I get used to it. Otherwise I just go back to your previous audio guide, either way I very much appreciate the time and effort you put in this video once again for us! Hope your health issues get better soon! ❤

same here just uninstalled everything , I could literally pin point where the enemies are but i can stand the humming noise from the sorroundings expecially the sounds from the unlooted boxes almost drove me insane. Can't enjoy playing the game like that, But props to ArtisWar really good video and expalanation.

Right first of all BIG shout out to Arts for the video , after a coffee and rewatching the video it all made sense i have followed the steps to a tee and i can now say the audio is much better can hear foot steps and direction of them is great @ArtIsWar thank you for your time and effort dude I hope the tooth situation is better now

Holy F… I don’t want to say I can hear everything but damn it’s really good. The clarity of steps between metal, wood, gravel it’s crazy. I ended up getting different iem because I didn’t want to wait. Linsoul KZ ZAX 1DD+7BA not that much more .
i had to come back just to say how much u made my gameplay much better...audio so good...i heard deer n wolves in the game...never knew it was animal sounds in the game...private match by myself with bots...so its not lik other players were makin the sounds
FYI for anyone who uses an external audio device like me (I use a USB Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 interface), this all worked for me EXACTLY as Art explained it. Just follow his steps and select your audio device (Focusrite USB Audio in my case) instead of speakers. Amazing work @ArtisWar Thank you.
I am using USB audio but I can't get the enhancements tab for loudness EQ. The driver is "USB Audio 2.0". What is your driver called?

hey man, thanks for sharing this! it is way easier to hear foot steps! unflankable with these settings. The only problem is i cant get my mic to work on. but when i go back to original settings mic works no problem...
I tried it. It’s just too much. It’s like I hear every sound at a constant tone now. Everything is louder than it would normally be so it makes it harder to detect footsteps anyways. Regular Dolby Atmos and good headphones is what I’m going to stick with. But, I will say this was fun seeing how much stuff goes into these things. Made my head explode a few times lol. Awesome vid, man. I’m a new sub.

Hey Art, firstly let me just say thanks for all this hard work! The community is indebted to you. Now, can I just ask if you could share the old hesuvi settings for those of us who can't use Loudness EQ (and aren't willing to change to a different output, e.g. I'm using a separate amp/dac with a balanced 4.4mm pentacon connection to be able to use my Sennheiser HD660S, and I'm not keen to stop using this set-up), you mentioned in the vid that you had some that were relevant pre-Loudness EQ. Thanks in advance!

One quick question if you have the time - in my audio settings in Win, spatial sound is set to Dolby Atmos. Should that be set to off or the Windows option for this to work or no?

@@xoLegacyClan Yeah unfortunately for me it makes the crates and other sounds incredibly loud so it's unplayable :/ I jumped the gun on the comment before trying it out haha
@@steffypopI run Dolby atmos too. Did end up using the new method or just stick to atmos?
yea he said in the beginning of the video to turn dolby atmos off if you are using these settings because it breaks the LEQ, which is probably why it is so incredibly loud. with LEQ on and atmos off it will balance out all the sounds so everything is all relatively close to the same volume. With the Equalizer APO and HeSuVi what you're doing is imitating the affects that dolby atmos has on your headphone output cept it's free. So you need to have it turned off or its like double the dolby atmos here to shred your ears. lol if that makes sense

Hi ArtIsWar just wanted to pop this little heads up in here, did all these audio settings and found all my audio running down the middle, this was because of a setting i had on without me knowing, windows put all my audio into mono, i fixed this by opening my sound settings and then going into the 'Ease of access audio settings' and turning mono off, i had never set it on so it must of been a windows update that changed this! EVERYTHING SOUNDS GREAT NOW THOUGH
I also have this issue but mono isn't enabled, not sure how to fix

You can pick 2nd hand sound cards pretty cheap dude - I don't know where you are in the world but in the UK CEX sell asus strix ones for £30...

My COD config file did not include the "numbers of output channel requested by user." not sure if it makes a difference but I installed the game from battlenet, I was told sometimes Steam versions are diff. Assumption here. Thanks

Check the properties of your config file and make sure it’s not read only. Mine was, I unchecked it and restarted my computer (for something unrelated) and it worked

Thanks for the vid Art. Isaac gassed you up pretty good on his setup video and I really enjoy your Twitch Channel. My gaming pc is connect to my GOXLR via an optical cable and I'm using Dolby Atmos. I think Isaac is doing something similar, he's using the optical cable for sure per his video. There is no LEQ for the digital out as I'm sure you are aware. What are your thoughts on optical out with Dolby Atmos versus what you review in this video? You may not be a fan as if it was better you would probably be going that route.

I gotta complete later as I am playing game now. However, I setup loudness eq and already notice a difference even with dolby atmos running too. Wow.
I use Astro mixamp with KZ pro plugged in. With that I can have loudness EQ... It works pretty well ! But need to GO volume 10 on windows and in game

Hey Art your new EQ settings are so nice, I used to have some crackling every 30~min or so, the 7.1 surround with Asio Bridge/Hifi cable seemed to have fixed that issue, but as its not needed anymore I deleted the program and it seems that the crackling is back. My question is can I run those new EQ settings with Asio/Hifi cable still enabled?
I don't know what you're asking. You don't have to use HiFi cable. Try opening hesuvi, selecting actions at the top, and restarting audio service.
I remember the hitmarker volume slider used to be in the game, mine was still at .9. Weird they took it out
Not only that but mine, and i assume others', now can not be changed in the config from what i set back then. Everytime i launch it resets

Focusrite Scarlett user here...unfortunately no LEQ support. Thank you tho for the good work. I think using my monitor or on-board sound device would be too much of a trade-off...

@@ArtisWar I did it with my monitor soundcard, worked perfectly fine. Footsteps are great, but unfortunately chests are too loud imho, which is pretty distracting...cuz in unlooted areas you hear nothing but chest sounds. Also wind and other backgroundnoises are too dominant for me. If this is all on the same frequenzy as the footsteps, it's probably hard to change, right?

Updates for Loudness EQ settings, try going to Documents/Call of Duty/players/options.3.cod.cst and change the Audio Channels from 16 back to 0 and let me know if this sounds better!

unfortunately no not for me. its made the whole game sound quality worse (sounds more blurry if that makes sense), and the deafeningly loud sounds are still way too loud. again, footsteps are completely fine (i even heard an enemy popping their UAV one floor above me), but i'd have to turn up overall volume for this, making other not so important sounds ear piercing 🙃

Sounds much better on 0, not as ear piercing but the in game setting went back to windows default. Should I leave it or put stereo?

Is there any chance someone could help explain how this could be setup when:
Using Voiceemeeter and a digital cable that is only used for game audio?
In other words, only tweak audio for that digital cable so only the game audio is tweaked while the rest of the audio remains normal.
