Have you thought of PayPal - you'd get everything someone sends you, they just designate you as a friend, and it takes just a day or two to get it.
I prefer gofundme for tax purposes. Having my profile up shows an auditor that I am truly trying to bring in funds for what I say I am doing. From what I understand a "gift" is non-taxable.
Do you get anything out of the old boneyards? You could probably get most of what you need from one of them!
There is nothing in the "boneyards" relative to the B-36 as the last ones that were scrapped were done so by 1962. Furthermore, these locations are 3,000 miles from me and these parts (if they existed) would not be cheap.
If you haven’t found a supplier for plexiglass McMaster carr in Cleveland Ohio sells up to 4x8 sheets of acrylic I have used on aircraft I’ve restored
