Larry King had developed sepsis at 87. He also specifically told his ex to be sure to let people know that he was ill from sepsis not covid. I do not care what one believes vs. another; however, I am interested in why the earlier version of his account has disappeared and all of a sudden his death is all about Covid.
You dont "contract" sepsis ... and becoming septic in 2018 really has nothing to do with dying in 2021. Just saying... and by the way, as a nurse who knows the covid numbers are stretched and misleading ... I'm not saying this in support of the COD being covid related. I'm just saying sepsis isn't something you "catch" and Larry Kings sepsis had to be resolved... a person could not live 3 years in a septic state.

Yaphet Kotto could menace audiences with a simple stare. I loved watching him.
Recently the Grio Network did a tribute to him showcasing some of his greatest movies ever. He had a television and film career that spanned over 60 years with over 50 films of which he starred in. A phenomenal actor who I believe was underappreciated in Hollywood.
He was a great actor , he should of got a star ✳️ on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Grammy Award winning artist Michael Nesmith who was best known as being a member of the musical group "The Monkees" and co-star of the TV series by the same name (1966-1968) died on 12/10/21 of heart failure at the age of 78. He was also a songwriter, producer, and novelist. Sadly with his passing Micky Dolenz now remains the sole surviving member of that original quartet. He was a great artist who'll be sadly missed by his millions of fans worldwide.
Wow. So many of my favorite actors died this year. But of all the ones you mentioned, I will remember when I met Hal Holbrook the most. When I was just an extra in one of his films, I had the opportunity to talk with him in between scenes, and he talked to me not as a lowly extra, but as an equal. Then he sent me a photo with the most lovely message on it, one that I still have and cherish, 40-years later. He was not only an incredible actor, but a truly great man. He will be missed.
Thank you for sharing Hal Holbrook with me. Sounds like he was a GREAT MAN.
@@JHawk111-
I only wish you got a chance to meet him personally. It's rare to find a great actor who is an equally great human being, but Hal Holbrook certainly qualified.
Mark Twain is a dear friend and Hal Holbrook brought his friendship alive for me. All these gifted people deserve our applause for their brilliant work/s 👏 😥
Character actor Gregory Sierra, known for his roles as Julio Fuentes on TV’s “Sanford and Son” and Det. Sgt. Chano Amenguale on “Barney Miller,” also died on Jan. 4th from cancer. He was 83 years old.

@@karenstrycharz1499 He should have been nominated for an Emmy for his 1973 guest appearance in an unusual and very dramatic episode of "All in the Family" in the role of Paul Benjamin, who plays a Jewish radical with the "Hebrew Defense Association" (based on the Jewish Defense League) fighting antisemitism in the Bunker's neighborhood of Queens. In the plot, he volunteers in helping to chase away neo-Nazi thugs who spray-painted a swastika on the Bunkers' front door. Tragically he's later killed in the presence of the Bunker's as they hear an explosion and then look out their front door and see the aftermath of a car bomb planted by the neo-Nazis. A heart stopping, unforgettable episode. Looking into Archie's eyes as the screen fades to black is absolutely haunting.

Graeme Edge, the drummer and co-founder of the British band the Moody Blues, for whom he wrote many of the spoken-word poems that, appended to songs like “Nights in White Satin,” helped make the group a pioneer in the progressive rock movement of the 1960s and ’70s, died on 11/11/21 at his home in Bradenton, Fla. How can you leave Cloris Leachman among the others in the “honorable mentions” at the end? Give a backstory on all of them! Even if you have to do two videos!
I’m sorry
Hark out the truth man. I couldn't agree with you more
Absolutely true! Cloris Leachman receiving a mere “honorable mention”, with all she did & the fantastic actress she was, seems impossible to believe! You are so right, Jeff, two videos should have been made to properly honor everyone!
I agree she was short changed .

Anybody remember a show called "Night Court"? The guy who played Mack on the show died last week. I loved that show back in the day.
Charlie Robinson. Night Court was funny. He played a neighbor on Mom several times.
Markie Post just died, too.
Night Court was a great show . My father and I I probably matched every episode. It's sad that almost the whole cast has passed by now. Surprisingly a couple weeks ago there was a marathon of episodes on TV out of the blue and matched a few with my sons ( ages 12 and 15 )and they thought it was funny , I was shocked after all these years it aged well.
I miss Rush. He was a very wise man. Much of what he said was going to happen and it has. Rip in peace for all this souls.
Author Beverly Cleary started my love affair with books. Henry Huggins, Beezus and Ramona, etc. Her books are still going strong and it's wonderful that kids have that opportunity to read and relate to the wonderful child characters in her stories.
I read most of them as a child, but my mom loved them too!
Tanya Roberts had the palest blue eyes I think I`ve ever seen...just so beautiful!!
My children & grandchildren used to bring home Beverly Cleary books and loved them. Whatever it takes to get them to read and enjoy books. I always said you can travel the world in books. They all love reading.

@@karenrogers3325, forgive me, the word I should have used is “developed.” My son developed several serious infections at 17 months of age having had neurosurgery. Infectious disease doctors had to step in and with the help of the neurosurgery team saved his life. As a nurse you know this is just one of the many dangers of one have neurosurgery.
My son and I spent the next THREE years being admitted in and out of the hospital. Serious infections like sepsis, MRSA, and many others, can lie dormant. He battled his for several years. And, in the future if he gets another surgery, or serious injury (I pray to God this doesn’t happen) this can raise its ugly head again.
After all this I went to work for neurosurgery to learn as much as possible and be kind to patients , a comfort. And now, my daughter is a RN working on being a PA. But also to be kind and honest.

I lived upstairs at my grandmothers/grandfathers home during the last two years of high school, beginning in 1984 ,then entered the military.
Every night until wee hours after midnight, I'd listen to Rush Limbaughs show on the radio,am station.
I started getting interested in the way he saw the world, people,
politics and his other fascinating and comical world views. To _me_ he was a smart man that sometimes put his foot in his mouth , but he was honest with his feelings and views I felt. It saddened me that he became so sick and passed away.
What is so absolutely unforgivable is the cruelty from others upon his passing.
