It seemed like attendees would collect it! Vendors design each of their own ribbons to encourage customers to buy from their table and give them a ribbon as a freebie kind of deal
Love to see your Vlogs, so interesting to get some behind-the-scenes :D May I ask how those thingys are called that u use to secure your keychains to the boards? Like, what´s the general search term for those holders? I´m just looking for basic ones, but I guess I´m searching wrong or dunno xD
it depends on the con's scale in my opinion! some cons are definitely smaller and not worth traveling to, so its really up to your judgement to decide.. some people go anyways just to make a vacation out of it!
This might be a random question But I am going to be doing my very first Artist Alley next month and I was wondering, do you keep your inventory there every night or take it with you? I know the display stays up but I wasnt sure if you took the rest of your inventory.Or do you have a lock box for it?
According to some of the artists that I've talked to, only leave items you're comfortable with at the booth, and place additional items in bins under the table. Cover your table with a thick cloth or cover. Valuable arts and items - like say your cash box if you have one - take back with you to the hotel. I'm sure Jiyoon is prepping for a con and hasn't had a chance to respond to your question. Hope that helps.
Hi! Sorry for the late reponse. I agree with Miayami, I would say cash box is definitely something you should have with you at all times. I leave my heavy inventory suitcases under the table and display just covered with thick cloth. My suitcases have locks so I lock them up for the night as well. I also always check if the con provides security guards overnight! If they don't best is to take valuable inventory home cuz you never know.
Ribbon con? More like bread con 🍞💪🏼
