Hi!! I was at ALA for the third day and I LOVED your booth! I made the dumb decision to come back to your booth before I bought anything (my friend was begging me to play Pokémon Go with him), so I couldn't remember the name of your booth 🤡 I hope to see you at ALA next year or at any other incoming conventions!!
ahHHH THANK YOUUU 🥹💕 AA is HUGE so i don't blame you (i can barely remember where other artists' tables are and i was there all 4 days 😬) definitely planning on being back at ALA next year and you can often find me at other socal events ᵕ̈ hope you had tons of fun at the con!! ✨✨
Omg I'm absolutely love everything you do but i loove the detail in the One Piece ribbon. Everyone goes in the same direction and then Zoro going wrong 🤣🤣💚👌🏻
when i did ALA in 23, it kinda felt like the hall was just too big for the amount of attendees, so money was just overall spread thin. even my friends that normally do very well at cons like AX and fanime, did terrible at ALA. though! i hear they are reducing the number of tables or have done so already this year, which makes me wanna apply again lol. because besides sales being hard to land, the con itself was fun and easy to set up in, so i would love to come back in hopes to earn more this time around XD
I personally did great at ALA both in 23 and 24 (but I know that my ALA experience tends to be an outlier amongst AA artists) I would encourage you to give it another shot (and maybe split a table if you want to be safe investment wise? prettyyy sure they allow table sharing but don't quote me on that 😅) But I do love ALA simply because it's such a fun con w/ the cosplay and ribbon culture there! Definitely plan on coming back next year ᵕ̈
AHAHA i cut them so often at cons because i don't realize how long they've gotten until i'm spending 9 hours with them poking my eyeballs 🫣🫣 thanks for watching the video! 🫶
thank you!! 💕 solo vending can definitely be super stressful and overwhelming but like with anything, it becomes easier overtime! i'm definitely less stressed vending solo now compared to the first few times i did it!! 😤 i just tend to be vERY tired afterwards tho 😪
Every artist prices their products differently but my price point is to ensure a decent profit margin for myself (gotta pay the bills somehow 🤧) I outsource my stickers to ensure the best possible quality for customers so selling them at $1 is just not feasible for me personally. I would be making nothing 😭 thankfully, most people shopping at artist alley understand they’re shopping with small business so i still have many people buying my stickers to support my art! 🥹
I got them from Marco promos (most vendors get their ribbons from here ᵕ̈ ) if you can find other artists to order with, i would recommend doing a group order so you can save some money as well! 😤
So just imagine how it is for people that go to work every single day and work 9 hour shifts for somebody who doesn't acknowledge them at all, at least you're doing this for yourself. We work for people every day that don't appreciate us. We go home with their baggage on top of our own trying to figure out how to maneuver through life. You spend 9 hours making your own money. Doing when your own things be grateful
Absolute magic how you got everything to fit in your car (in the rain no less!) 💫 Hope to see you at another con soon!!
me 🤝 my tetris skills 🤣
always such a joy seeing ya!! see you again hopefully soon soon 🥹💕💕
i feel like tote bags also sell well cause people end up with more to carry than expected so it feels like a very practical purchase
i agree! people have definitely bought tote bags from me and immediately use them to carry their stuff around during the con 🙌
@@drawnbyivy good advertising for you as well!

The spilled Vietnamese coffee is a tragedy frrrr!!! But so epic that someone gave you a new one!!
truly a TRAGEDY 😭 i was so touched someone went out of their way to bring me coffee 🥺🤧

thank you so much!! i’m so happy you noticed that detail!! i designed it w/ Zoro running the opposite way on purpose LOOL typical Zoro behavior 🤣🤣

@@drawnbyivy it is a fun con! and close by for me so I want it to work out, i'll try again when apps open. fingers crossed all around!
Loving the consistent content!!
when you cut your bangs i almost freaked out 😅great video!

Glad the con was so successful! Solo vending seems so scary

@@drawnbyivy Ahhh that's good, guess it comes with the experience!! You're super inspiring, I can't wait to see more videos!! 💕
❤❤❤❤ love ur vlogs sm 💗😊
thank you for watching!! ❤❤
Love the setup! How did you stand up the keychain board off of the end of the table like that??
I attached a mini easel to the back of the board with velcro! it's a bit unsteady tho tbh so i've since switched to an iPad stand ᵕ̈
Whyyyy must I live so far from LA?? I only care when I miss cool art events like this.
SoCal is really spoiled with so many cool art events 🫣 but anime cons are hosted all over the country if you search for them!! 😤
I saw a vlog where the artist just sold $1 stickers?! 😮 just wondering how that went with y’all - I follow several of your friends 😊

Where did you order your ribbons? So cute!

Thank you so much for the suggestion!
