LOL, poor Henry Harrius is the only person who doesn’t realize the magic wand is a terrible and embarrassing idea. Basically every reviewer hates that it’s a magic wand. Of course Henry is well-liked so they say it politely. The wand stands out like a ridiculous prop, calls attention to itself, and is not forgotten just cause you make a bad joke that gets only courtesy laughs when showing the wand. The annoying attempt at bad magician humor just calls more attention to the wand. Come up with a different version of the prop, everyone is telling you to do it. Don’t be stubborn. And don’t feel bad. Everything else you make is a winner.

But I just want to point out that, I only present tricks I believe in. The reason why I presented this is, I think HJ’s design is really clever. It provides a fun and party vibe. Using that moment as a gag not just provide a joke but spectator will completely forget about the moment. Next month they invited me for a repeated gig at EUROMONEY AWARD because of the trick! I definitely don’t think I look like a clown on stage (no offence to clowns, I respect their work…) Just like I don’t do illusion shows or kid shows myself, doesn’t mean these are not good magic. Each category in magic has its specific skills and knowledge. So when a trick doesn’t suit your style, doesn’t mean its not good magic.
